I don’t care if you’re painting shutters for ten hours, your conversations are what is entertaining. The windows look great from the outside. What a huge difference they make. Love Louis running to someone’s rescue. Congratulations to Louis on his new store. Very exciting!!! xx
Edd, I really don't mind watching you and Louis paint. The banter between the two of you is entertaining. Anna keeps us entertained also. I hope the weather improves for you soon.❤
I think you should remove the foliage growing between the sidewalk and building. They may be minor weeds now but time makes them stronger and undermines building integrity. If you want color and foliage go with window boxes
I like you do 3 min. of work then show the results of what you have done then 3 min of work. If you filmed everything you wouldn't be able to get as much done. I can't believe that nasty dark place is so bright and beautiful. I'm sure your neighbors love you.
I do love the big house, the one that you rent out. It’s beautiful. The renovation house is coming along so well, can’t wait to see the outside cleaned up and the door and windows fitted.
Ed, mind your doctor and let your back rest for a while!! I’ve been waiting years for someone anyone to paint their shutters so even tho yours are new I enjoyed it anyway!❣️👏🏻👏🏻
April showers brought May showers brought June showers etc. etc. etc. Hurry and build an ark before the Garonne overflows! I love the blue the door already is. It's a lovely rich color!
This was most entertaining folks. Nice to be in on your chatting...something different.. Don't worry about those who complain about being on one thing or many, it's good to see another side of your life and be a part of your everyday happenings. Good people!!!
Thank you for sharing another wonderful vlog. Don’t ever worry about showing too much paint or gardening, you can show as much as you like. On the same subject we all enjoyed you showing too much in your yellow swim shorts 🩳😉😉🫢😘😘😘
Ed & Anna, with your property being connected to both properties on either side & them having both painted all their trim white, it’s the perfect opportunity for you to add a pop of whatever color you think best suits your facade, for the shutters & doors. As the corner connecting property, it will be a beautiful accent for the entire combined building. I don’t think it is showy in a bad way, but rather an attractive way that improves the look of the entirety 🥰
It sounds as though you are getting a lot of do’s and don’t’s in the comments. You are doing a lot of things, and while most of us probably like watching you progress on a project like your rebuild, you also have a life. So do what you can, keep being yourselves, and if people are not happy they can go somewhere else, or skip a vlog that does not make them happy. I would imagine that they bore people too and maybe those people are kind enough not to complain. Every site we watch is different. That is what makes it fun.
Love the new windows, and the stone outside is looking better with the cleaning Louis is doing. Crazy amounts of rain all across France this year. I have to remember not to purchase 2024 wines, 😂
Edd,Anna,Louie the lucky three. Very good job of painting the shutters. The place is beginning to look livable. The passion project is a wonderfully place to stay. Until next time. My dears, please take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍺🍺🍺👍🌞🇺🇸🕊❤️🙏🌈🌹😇
On a random day while scrolling came across your channel when you first brought this property. Never thought i would be so invested in the progress and renovation of the house. Thanks and great work Ed love from India .🙏🏻
Hi Anna, Ed, and our favorite, all around Artiste 🧑🎨! Can’t wait for the blog to expand to Louis’ hat shop! ❤ Ed, please take care of yourself, we mamas worry about you. ❤
The Passion project is so beautiful and so glad your first guests was such a success. So happy for you all. Louie hard at work! Yes I have been anxious to see what you all do with the outside to make it beautiful again. The windows are so pretty and make such a difference. Nice, this will save you a lot of time!!! Yes, we have those liners for the tray ,,, saves a lot of time. Also, here if we are painting the next day, we put the roller into a plastic grocery of plastic bag then put in the refrigerator until ready to use it again. Keeps a long time and saves a lot of clean up! I hope Louie's shop does well and a great success. Louie is so funny. Your alls wood quality is much better than our here in the USA. Painting is part of your restoration ... i don't mind it at all. So happy how the restoration is going. Take care of yourself Edd. All the best. Love the windows.
Yes Ed we have tray liners here in the states. They save a lot of time. We leave the tray liner and paint brushes in the tray. Put it into a plastic garbage bag close it and the paint stays good and brushes are ready for later that day or the next day. Theresa Atlanta Georgia, USA 😊
That was so enjoyable... listening to your chit chat! Especially Anna... so chatty this evening! 💛 That was so sneaky 🫣 watching Louis trying to score a date 😅 Sending ❤️ from the deep south 🇿🇦
I enjoy the banter between Louis, Edd and Anna. Have a lovely day. Here in the UK we have had nothing but rain rain rain. Enjoy it..........Its only May maybe by Autumn it will stop ha ha.
Will miss seeing Luis, his smile is beautiful. Very happy for him and his new business and wish him well. Such a gentleman. Everything is looking good at this little home. Windows are looking nice. Edd your back is no joke so mind your doctor. This is coming from someone who suffers everyday from back pain. Love the banter and chatting going on.
Hi when you use plaque age, have you used or heard of a French product called St one, its a lime based dry mix alternative, you apply it and leave it proud of the finished result and then scrape it back using any suitable tool even a hacksaw blade to get the desired finish then when it is set solid you can actually carve it, this stuff is used on many cathedrals, it would save you a lot of time, worth looking into.
You guys are so much fun to be the fly on the wall with, I feel you are part of the family the way you bandy about with humor but now Louis doit avoir son propre blog ou vous rendre visite souvent. how about a sitcom on life at the chateau with Maître d. Louis as an 😃emcee entertainer
Thanks for your Vlogs, Edd and Anna, nice to see the interaction between you and Louis, makes them enjoyable, breaks up the painting. Have a great weekend and take care of yourselves, yourself. Cheers ❤❤❤👏👏👏👏🇦🇺
Love what you have done to the inside of the Bordeaux building. Cleaning the outside changes it from drab to exciting. Live the glass doors inside. Allows for sooo much light. And the stairways going up looked great from the angle I saw. Good luck with Bordeaux big house but please don't leave the townhouse to the squatters. You've done too much to let people destroy your hard work. Bonne chance et bon vie❤
Loving the banter ( chatter ) between the 3 of you. You two certainly encourage Louis and its so funny. Edd you are such a hard worker no wonder you have a bad back. Smiling through the pain 😂
I did laugh at Louis bird one eyed , he is so funny. I dont mind watching someone else than me paint makes a change. Love the shutters nice choice of colour, Also by clearing out side the building has made a difference . thankyou for sharing Anna Edd and the one eyed chat up hunk attracter Louis😘
Hi Ed & Anna, Having designed many kitchens over the years, I have never passed up the opportunity to put a sink under a kitchen window. A bad view is so much better than looking at a wall. Mark & Scott
Hope Edd is feeling much better. Thank you for sharing this video- happy to see the Team working together. I'm looking foward to seeing the installation of the front door!❤ Take care, Anna, Edd, and Louie 👍😊👍
I loved the planting episode, it was funny and very entertaining. I also loved todays episode the banter is on point and If people don’t like it they can watch something else. It’s not like you are forcing them to watch it.
As always, the banter is so funny and entertaining. Glad your first guests were respectful. The new windows look amazing. The repairing of the stones will be interesting to watch. Edd do take it easy and listen to your doctor. Thanks for sharing 😍😘
I’m in awe of how hard you have to work and obviously this is reflected in your property portfolio Ed your skill set continues to amaze me which obviously helps in keeping costs down We haven’t seen a financial breakdown recently of this project? Anyway thank you for taking us on your journey This house is going to be as wonderful as the Passion project because of your dedication to perfection ❤
We used to have paint tray liners in England but i haven't seen any recently. I have used them in the past though . If you can't find them you could also line the tray with tinfoil, works just as well. The house is going to be beautiful when it's finished .
It's always nice to tune in and see what you are up to, the chatter is always entertaining. I would love to see Anna doing wedding flowers again during the wedding season.
Advice for what it's worth put luvered shutters like california blinds that can be opened or closed on the inside. on the downstairs windows and don't whitewash the windows. Kudos to you Ed and Anna, Ed for the effort and Anna for dealing with Ed. lol
Edd has to finish the outside as original historic windows and door ,not what he originally wanted as next door fitted modern style and far cheeper roof.
The place is looking great already with what it looked like before. You serious! People comment about having to much time of the same subject in the vlogs😮.
Be thankful you just had rain!!! This afternoon in West Texas, we had some ping pong size with mostly pea size hail!!! Did some damage to my daughter’s car she just made her 1st payment on!!! Praying our 90-100 degree F heat will pop them out & it won’t have to go to repair shop!
Loved the painting and banter. So happy that the first guests were good guests 🎉. Know you guys are busy this time of year and I enjoy Ana’s flower arrangements. Planting the bushes at the passion project was funny yes there is a back side to a bush.
I LOVE the blue colour of the door you'll be putting in, but I think you could go a little deeper with it and add just a little black to the blue to create more of a navy. If you added some good or brass leaf to the metal grill, it would pick up that lovely detail and show off how stunning the door really is.
Thanks for another great video, Anna & Edd! My only suggestion is to just ignore any negative comments made by viewers. The vlogs are wonderful as is. And if people are so turned off by the content, then maybe they need to find something else to watch!
I think painting shutters is very Zen like😅. Pleased to see you looking a lot better Ed & the banter with Louie is a tonic. Are you wearing your back support I wonder. As your antibiotic course is finished I trust you can have the odd wine o'clock. Look after yourselves & as a treat let's have some more Zen & the art of shutter painting❤
Those iron pieces (barriers) in front of the windows are charming ❤ Sad you do not keep them. Those pieces are typically French and are giving style to the house (building). Think about this aspect. Really I found them beautiful. From Canada 😊
Louis keeps his hard hat on when painting with Ed. There must be a story there.
Louis is just so cute I named my new baby Yorkie after him!
😂😂😂😂
I don’t care if you’re painting shutters for ten hours, your conversations are what is entertaining. The windows look great from the outside. What a huge difference they make. Love Louis running to someone’s rescue. Congratulations to Louis on his new store. Very exciting!!! xx
True that!
I just hope Ed is not going to loose Louis for ever. They are working so well together. ❣️
Edd, I really don't mind watching you and Louis paint. The banter between the two of you is entertaining. Anna keeps us entertained also. I hope the weather improves for you soon.❤
New windows are lovely! Can't wait for the new exterior door!
Me too😊 I love the blue color, but maybe it will stand out as I understood Ed. Exciting to see what they will do.
I’m with you. That blue door is really going to make the place!
I think you should remove the foliage growing between the sidewalk and building. They may be minor weeds now but time makes them stronger and undermines building integrity. If you want color and foliage go with window boxes
I thought the same. They serve no purpose.
Glad your first guests were good .Louis is so funny ❤
I bet that your guests had a tremendously wonderful time staying at the Passion project. ❤
It’ll be interesting to see you repair the outside frontage
I like you do 3 min. of work then show the results of what you have done then 3 min of work. If you filmed everything you wouldn't be able to get as much done. I can't believe that nasty dark place is so bright and beautiful. I'm sure your neighbors love you.
Rain again😮
I do love the big house, the one that you rent out. It’s beautiful.

I enjoy your banter. Don't worry about it, it's nice to hear the chat about what you're doing at all your projects.
Enjoy listening and watching both Ed and Louis and of Anna's info. Can't wait to see this completed. Good luck
This was most entertaining folks. Nice to be in on your chatting...something different.. Don't worry about those who complain about being on one thing or many, it's good to see another side of your life and be a part of your everyday happenings. Good people!!!

Ring That Bell!!! Windows Look Fabulous Edd. Xx 😘🛎️😊
Looking great ! The new windows make such a difference. Yes, your neighbours must love you!
I love Anna's flower vlogs 😊
The windows are magnificent! Let the sun shine in! Yay!
Painting and chatting suits me just fine. Thank you. I’m enjoying catching up on the progress even though it’s not moving as fast as we’d all like. ❤
I'm suprised how much the guys love each other that they don't have a paint fight and paint each other.
Ed & Anna, with your property being connected to both properties on either side & them having both painted all their trim white, it’s the perfect opportunity for you to add a pop of whatever color you think best suits your facade, for the shutters & doors. Ten hours of watching shutters being painted? Challenge accepted!
ah lovely louis good luck with your shop. ed you and louis making a fine job of this build.
Anna and Edd, enjoyed the whole video. The Chateau is gorgeous!!!
Definitely up for many flower blogs by Anna, you can never have too many flowers and she arranges them so beautifully.
I totally agree!!!

Wow how wonderful French. Louie rescuing a damsel in destress. .
I have watched paint dry many times. It's amazing how much life the windows bring to the building.
Hi Anna, Ed, and our favorite, all around Artiste 🧑🎨! Can’t wait for the blog to expand to Louis’ hat shop! ❤ Ed, please take care of yourself, we mamas worry about you. ❤

We use that style for joints but it’s hard to get the good colour for the fake stone look
This video has a fairly cheery vibe, so that's nice. I used to really love to paint.
Hi, Louis! ❤
I like Black for the door. It ties in with the metal work at the windows and does not stand out like a color would. It's classy. Carry-on!
Aw that Louie..love an young old fashion gentleman.so smooth
You guys are so much fun to be the fly on the wall with, I feel you are part of the family the way you bandy about with humor but now Louis doit avoir son propre blog ou vous rendre visite souvent. how about a sitcom on life at the chateau with Maître d. Louis as an 😃emcee entertainer

Louis, get Ed to help you in your shop with the renovations 😉
Hi Ed & Anna, Having designed many kitchens over the years, I have never passed up the opportunity to put a sink under a kitchen window. A bad view is so much better than looking at a wall. Mark & Scott
Enjoyed watching you painting, can't wait to sit and watch paint dry now. I was born in Peckham by the way. Haveagood weekend. X❤😊
The weather has been the same here in England.
Hope Edd is feeling much better. Thank you for sharing this video- happy to see the Team working together. I'm looking foward to seeing the installation of the front door!❤ Take care, Anna, Edd, and Louie 👍😊👍
You are the hardest working couple i've ever encountered
Same wheather here in the pays basque...crossing fingers they are announcing sunny days this weekend. HUGS to you.❤
Love the way the house is progressing and yes we do get paint tray liners in USA.
I like the wrought iron under the window. Looks good.
I loved the planting episode, it was funny and very entertaining. I also loved todays episode the banter is on point and If people don’t like it they can watch something else. It’s not like you are forcing them to watch it.

The whitewash is only whilst we are working. After people will put either blinds or curtains in im sure.
Edd has to finish the outside as original historic windows and door ,not what he originally wanted as next door fitted modern style and far cheeper roof.
The place is looking great already with what it looked like before. You serious! People comment about having to much time of the same subject in the vlogs😮.
Love how Ed does DIY in his best clothes, Abercrombie deigner shirt ! what a gent.
Yr so cheeky Ed stirring Anna up, yr funny. I'm laid up on bed with Covid watching you guys at work cheers me up big time. Thankyou for the banter. ❤
It's a blog about your work life what ever shape that takes
Edd you do what you like take care of yourself and ignore crummy comments😊
Be thankful you just had rain!!! This afternoon in West Texas, we had some ping pong size with mostly pea size hail!!! Did some damage to my daughter’s car she just made her 1st payment on!!! Praying our 90-100 degree F heat will pop them out & it won’t have to go to repair shop!
the wood those shutters are made from is so pretty....
To save yourself from having to remove loose roller threads from paintwork - use some tape around the roller which will remove any loose threads
The windows look fabulous. Maybe Louis can suggest a colour for the front door that will give the house good Feng Shui vibes.
I’m happy to watch whatever you get up to ❤. Looking forward to seeing Louis hat shop.
I think the railings on the front look amazing they give character to the building,
We are going to repair the other and put it back
Loved the painting and banter. So happy that the first guests were good guests 🎉. Know you guys are busy this time of year and I enjoy Ana’s flower arrangements. Planting the bushes at the passion project was funny yes there is a back side to a bush.
Ah, you guys are such a joy to watch. It was funny seeing the boot of the car already full when Ed opened it up.🤣🤣❤
Good luck Louie with your new shop!!!!
I like the door blue 💙
Bonjour from Wales in UK 🙂
Lovely weather you’ve got there
Yo! You guys should do a stained concrete floor on the ground level, it would look great & go w/modern aesthetic? Cheers Kirk
I LOVE the blue colour of the door you'll be putting in, but I think you could go a little deeper with it and add just a little black to the blue to create more of a navy. If you added some good or brass leaf to the metal grill, it would pick up that lovely detail and show off how stunning the door really is.
Edd looks like Juliet at her balcony😁
Happy banter, Louie needs a shop in Australia 🇦🇺... I love watching paint dry 😂😂😂 especially if Louie is doing it... OH Ed was there 😊..
Take care of your back and yourself Ed. Nice to see the shutters painted. Were are you going to get the stone for the front door?
hi anna and edd
Thanks for another great video, Anna & Edd! My only suggestion is to just ignore any negative comments made by viewers. The vlogs are wonderful as is. And if people are so turned off by the content, then maybe they need to find something else to watch!
Even looking so nice! Anna would love to see more videos with your flower arranging!
Flower vlogs yes please!!!!
It’s well worth watching paint dry, just to see the Ed & Louis Show!
The exterior definitely looks better.
I named a Chaffinch in my garden after Louis
I think painting shutters is very Zen like😅. Pleased to see you looking a lot better Ed & the banter with Louie is a tonic. Are you wearing your back support I wonder. As your antibiotic course is finished I trust you can have the odd wine o'clock. Look after yourselves & as a treat let's have some more Zen & the art of shutter painting❤
Keep the door blue it's a great colour and matches the street sign 👍
Someone suggested painting garden fences with a car sponge - may be useful for shutters
Those iron pieces (barriers) in front of the windows are charming ❤ Sad you do not keep them. Those pieces are typically French and are giving style to the house (building).
Think about this aspect. Really I found them beautiful. From Canada 😊
We are keeping them - just not using them as barriers!
@@BordeauxLife Of course, with this type of windows and their opening at the top.
Looks bloody great with the windows in.
