Hi, you can eat it as it 100% edible but the taste is a bit off. You can always add some sweet and flavor into it as long as it doesn’t change the color but you might have to reconsider the gelatin ratio.
@@julianatumulak4914 try heating it in a microwave at a very low temperature for seconds at a time. Or you can do it on a pan so you can check the progress better. On the stove heat it in a pan and when it starts to form a white cloud on top of the mixture, then remove it from the heat and stir.
Your video was quite helpful and informative. I read information that edible paper can be made without heat. Benadryl no longer makes Quick Melt strips, and I was wondering if I could substitute the water with Benadryl liquid and make my own strips.Using heat destroys the medical usefulness. (I have a dairy allergy, and if I take the pills/tablet or liquid orally, it takes 30 minutes for me to stop coughing and choking. When I use(d) the melts, placing one under my tongue, I received relief of my symptoms within 5 to 10 minutes.) Please let me know if you think this would be a doable recipe without the heat. Thank you
@@donnavasquez1266 I wouldn’t know, have never tried it. This paper is used just for edible decorations purposes. If you decide to try, feel free to let me know the results. Thanks.
@@TheArtCakeExperience Thank you for your quick reply. I have one Quick melt remaining. I will try the recipes w/o heat and see if I have success, and get back to you.
yes, you can do that, I believe agar agar has more elasticity so maybe try a different ratio: try to do 1 1/2 agar agar + 3 parts of water. Let me know if it works, I haven´t done this recipe with agar agar. Thanks for your comment!
thanks for your comment, you can find the making of a bow using this gelatine paper in the following video: ruclips.net/video/nEl0hbwI07w/видео.html and I also have another video on making flowers with the same recipe: ruclips.net/video/AkW6dnwo4dE/видео.html
You can easily heat gelatin on a pan and make sure it doesn’t boil. Let it heat until a light white cloud is form on the top of your mixture then remove from the stove and use it.
Everything is edible but I have to say that the taste is not the best since I don’t add sugar or flavor to the gelatin. However you can try to flavor it to see if it works. Let me know the result
Hello. Can you eat the gelatin paper tho? And how does it taste like?

Hello again! I don't know what happened but when I tried to heat the gelatin water mixture, it just burned.

Did you use unflavored gelatin or a brand name flavored gelatin?
It is unflavored gelatin, any brand as long as it is unflavored and clear.
Can I heat it in a stove top instead of microwave
Sure, even better, just don't let it boil.
I don’t have microwave what to do?
