Sure I don’t like commercials but I sometimes will mute videos during commercials and look at something 20ft away for 20 seconds. I’m younger but my eyes aren’t great and I stare at a computer screen all day. Hoping to RE and slow travel…

YT is a lot of work and you have to have thick skin too. We receive mostly kind comments, but ten percent of the time people can be cruel. Some channels have been very lucrative, we have not found the secret sauce:)

Re. increasing channel revenue, any consideration of fee-based membership option(s)? Or is it better to grow subscribers prior to expanding offerings (if at all)? Much appreciated! We have chosen not to do a fee-based membership at this point in time. We give of our time and efforts at no cost. Eventually, if we have too many WhatsApp calls and consultations, we might have to charge for them. At this point in time we feel it is paying it forward. Thanks for watching :)
This sounds much more realistic. The couple at Grounded Life Finances claimed they make $20,000 per month which I found very hard to believe. I travel full time as well and at one point wanted to start a YT channel but it takes so much work I simply have no time to do all that since I have other interests and uses for my time. It also takes a lot of effort to film stuff from various angles, especially with crowds, while also enjoying the travel experience - it's all an additional burden.
I don’t really know about that channel, but it can be lucrative for some people. If there’s a secret sauce, we have not found it yet. Chances are they have credit card points from people signing up, possibly cruise sales etc.
Converting the watched hours into years always amazes me. The 365.000 hours you generated equals 41 years of continuous time for only one person to watch (if they do not sleep at all). Congrats!
@@WarrenJulieTravel yeah the pay per engagement is good. We are signed up with wise, but so far not one. Each one pays a $50 referral. We have had a grand total of 2 clicks and no conversions, and probably one of the clicks was me testing the link. So... pretty bleak! lol.
You mentioned you only spend $3,000 USD per month. Can you go into more detail. Does that include housing and plane tickets? My budget is $3,000 and i want to travel and maybe stay in one place a month or two and then move on but I'll need a plan to follow. Thank you!

There are bigger channels than yours, but very few channels are as good a knowledge-per-minute investment to watch.
