For all you gals that believe you don’t need a man or men, this shows that you most certainly, DO. All we gals Need is the discernment to recognize and appreciate the men that want and do protect us from the men that are scum. Best to learn that before you find yourself in the predicament that this woman did. Good men are not hard to find and they are still of the majority. Recognizing them can be the challenge. 😊
and for those of us who simply don’t want a man, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with learning to protect yourself and learning to be strong enough to stand on your own two feet. it’s not about hating men, i definitely don’t, but not all of us want one in our lives and that’s pretty dang valid.
HARDY is seriously slept on in mainstream. He’s written countless songs for artists like Morgan Wallen & Florida Georgia line. He’s now in the rock space & isn’t missing a beat! Please keep the Hardy content coming.
Hardy is a very talented artist and song writer. He has written songs for several big name country artists in the past. Lainey is also featured on the song Save Me by Jelly Roll on his first country album
One of the BEST lyrics ever written; 🎼 And I might be here forever It ain’t paradise that’s true But it’s a whole hell of a lot better Than the place I sent him to 🎼
U really ought to check out the story of how a town murdered a wretched bully and NO ONE was charged. It makes me have faith in people that stand on business.
In the 80’s in Skidmore Missouri, very small town there was a guy named Ken McElroy, known as a town bully, accused of everything from rape, animal cruelty, theft, arson, but never arrested or jailed …. He was gunned down in broad daylight in the middle of town with about 50 to 60 people around BUT no one saw a thing. I’m in Kansas City not far away, this was all over the news. His murder has never been solved. All those people standing around claimed to not have seen the crime. It’s still an unsolved murder.
From a female perspective...you are absolutely right. Deep down, most women want to be protected. I wish I would've had somebody to protect me when I went through it...but I didn't. I had to figure out how to protect myself. And the law got quoted against me for self-defense. It was the worst thing I've ever beaten through. I'm subscribing to your channel now. I love how you tell it like it is! You should definitely check out some more Hardy. One of his great songs is "A Rock". But Hardy has been in the background writing songs for years. He finally decided to step into the limelight...and he's great!
And it's bullshit and sad you even had to experience and go through that. Because cowards are allowed to walk this Earth and take their crap out on others. I'm sorry to hear that. Happy you're here and stronger. Love I can earn your sub. Thank you for that. :) And yeah, I'ma keep this train going.
@TheBlackSpeed thank you for the kind words. I have grown so much since then. And I thank God everyday for keeping me here. I can't wait to watch more of your reactions!
These are two powerhouse artists and performers who teamed up for an even greater performance. Hardy is a talented song writer and Lanie can just belt out the songs. Great reaction
I'm also a survivor and checking out that song not only did I destroy my life with drugs my comment is at the top but I've been clean 12 years now and like the song you mentioned. I tried many times to take my own life. God bless you.
As a DV survivor x 2, wish I had an angel but I wouldn't want someone to spend their life in prison for me. The end of the video has a message when the cameras are on his shackled feet and her free flowing pants. It's the opposite at the beginning of the video...she's trapped in a DV situation and he's a free man. But it switches at the end. Her walking out of a place that one can be "trapped" in shows her freedom. The camera shots of Hardy's feet shows what she had been in. I love that "hidden message".
I appreciate you not wanting us to give our life for your's but that is what we were put on this planet to do. You have one of our ribs and we will protect it at all cost.
a couple fun call outs in this video/ song ... in the lyrics " by a judge under the seat" ... interestingly there's a revolver made by Taurus called the JUDGE ... .. also in the end of the video .. she's driving hardy's truck to come visit him. - Really glad this song came out when it did... i feel it might be a reminder of what the truth behind mens motives are..
I just read that comment from someone else and didn't catch the firearm. That's wild. And yeah, just in general this is a very powerful, important song. I mess with it heavy.
Man you f*ckin said it! Growing up on country and then falling in love with rap starting in 87 with LL. 80’s 90’s early 2000’s rap painted a perfect picture. Not just rhyming words to make them fit. I didn’t put the connection till later on in life. But yes let me close my eyes and can just see what the song is taking me
Decades ago, I was in a tough spot like this. Finally learned it was up to me, and no one but me. Couldn't allow a kind soul to risk his life and freedom for something I had to do for myself. Homeless with a couple of kids for a bit, but safer than we had been.
Okay, one more! Sorry! Hardy does a collaboration with another guy I really like, Stephen Wilson Jr. The song is Father’s Son. It gets me Every. Damn. Time. Lost my dad last year.
I come from a time when it was said: "There is not a jury in the world that would convict". Sadly, the courts today tell the Jury what to do. Hopefully, I truly believe we are fixin' to go back to reality, true justice. Our current time is a great wake-up call...and Americans are responding. I feel the change. God is Good. Lord, please hear our prayers.
Great reaction! You know it's a crying shame at how the abuser has more and better protections than the abused. I liked the play on the video at the end showing the upper body shot where she's walking out FREE and he's walking in wearing the INMATE uniform, then her feet are walking out free and unshackled from her former abuser and his are now shackled for freeing her from him. Hardy sure has a great talent for music and video to back it up. It's also a shame how the leftist media took this song off the airwaves shortly after it came out.
Great reaction. I'm a new subscriber. The storytelling of country music is so amazing. I Believe by Brooks and Dunn is 1 of my favorites. I'm also a huge rap fan also.
I just ran into your channel and you’re reacting to wait in the truck and I freaking loved it! May I request you react to THREE WOODEN CROSSES by RANDY TRAVIS ?
I’ve always said that they should have come up with some story that she was still inside screaming when he happened to hear her, he did knock and knock and when no one answered, he kicked in the double wide doors. When he got inside, the @$$hole was pointing a gun at him. Self defense!!! They can’t say that she screamed for help when he knocked. She was a resident so she invited him in.
He only got put in prison because he kicked the door in. Then the death occured while he was committing another crime ie breaking and entering. If she had opened the door for him he might have been able to claim self defense.
@TheBlackSpeed I think that the point of the song is that Hardy's character knew that what he was about to do was going to land him in jail. But he did it anyway, because it was the right thing to do. Near the end of the song, you hear him asking for mercy. But it's not the mercy of the court that he is asking for. It's mercy from the Lord, because in the end, he feels that is the only one he has to answer to.
Wish i could hit the like a thousand times, brother, loved the reaction!!!! I also recommend Mockingbird and the crow. If you havent seen the movie "Boondock Saints" I heartily recommend it. You dont need to react to it, or anything like that, but your comments here brought that to mind. Keep on keeping on!!
Ayyeee, I wish you could too. That would teach the ole RUclips robot. Happy you liked the video. And I love Boondock Saints. I'm a big classic movie guy, so if it's old school and popular, I've probably seen it.
You want a great story counting, try a one-time song of the year by Brooks and Dunn. It's a true story for Ronnie Dunn. It's called "Believe"". You'll be better for listening to this song.

First time I've come across your reaction to this song ai really lived your reaction. At the end of the day, everything you went on your rant about is true. Unfortunately, there's supposed to be a self defense law and even thenthey don't honor it. But yeah, they are feminising men and masculining the women and everybody wants to mind their own business cause they don't want to get involved. Which i understand nobody wants to go to jail for defe, nding someone who they don't know. But sometimes there's that one person who needs to be defending. I'm a survivor of child abuse, child sexual abuse and gang rape by the age of 11. They guys who raped me went to jail and was released on 2 years probation a piece to do it to someone else because they were also from the age of 15-19. And most victims they let their abusers back on the streets to do it again or someone else. The next time they may not survive. So I really appreciate your reaction. Me Unfortunately, I turned to drugs and destroyed my life but today I'm 12 years clean. Thank God because I never got the help that I needed to deal with my abuse. But I thank the good lord Jesus christ, that I'm may not be where I want to be and I may not be where I ought to be but I Thank God, I'm not where I used to be. Thanks for your reaction.
In the song, the dude knew what the consequences would be. He just decided she was worth the sacrifice, and real justice had to be done. Sad that abuse victims face a justice system that is lenient. Yes RAP IS ON IT YELAWOLF AND CASKEY BLACK SHEEP DOES IT FOR ME HE HITS EVERYTHING ROCK ,COUNTRY, BACKWOODS SMALLTOWN ,METAL IS ON IT METALLICA, MEGADEATH, TOOL ,CORY TAYLOR, FROM SLIPKNOT, SLEEP TOKEN, REACT TO THESE BANDS AND IF YOU GO DOWN THIS RABBIT HOLE OF METALLICA YOUR CHANNEL WILL BLOW UP METAL FANS ARE DIE HARD 🤘🇺🇲🇺🇲🤘
I just subscribed at this moment. Please react to more country. ❤ Wait in the Truck is the Best! I live in Alabama and a lot of guys would do the same thing. I love your channel btw.
Speed, let's be honest here do you really think a Jury would have convicted the guy in the video? People keep forgetting that a trial like this would be in front of a Jury.
I would HOPE not. But I've learned not to be surprised by people's ridiculousness anymore. We're kinda maybe going to see that with Luigi, a good ole jury nullification. We'll see though.

Had to pin this. You said this eloquently. I'm glad you liked the react and felt what I was feeling out of it, even with our different backgrounds.
and for those of us who simply don’t want a man, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with learning to protect yourself and learning to be strong enough to stand on your own two feet. it’s not about hating men, i definitely don’t, but not all of us want one in our lives and that’s pretty dang valid.
Ok, I need men HOWEVER I did time (6yrs ) in the USArmy (on to of 20+yrs as a USAir Force brat)
I can shoot my own rattlesnakes…
I like the double "judge under a seat". The obvious reference to judge and the fact that the gun was a Taurus Judge.
Didn't even peep the type of firearm. Good eye.
I can't hear this song without getting goosebumps every time. When she simply says "thank you", that's just simply chilling
HARDY is seriously slept on in mainstream. He’s written countless songs for artists like Morgan Wallen & Florida Georgia line.

Hardy is a very talented artist and song writer. He has written songs for several big name country artists in the past. Lainey is also featured on the song Save Me by Jelly Roll on his first country album
Hits you in the feels. Love old school country...sounds like it's making a comeback. 🖤🤍

@barbarafrazier3242 yea I know. I wanted him to watch the video for a reaction. Thanks for spoiling.
@@IamGrootOG Aw it's okay. Maybe still watching it or reading about it can give details. It's all good.
It's a good story. People handled business and to this day, no one talked. That's how it has to be sometimes.

he played with a word in this chorus as well. A judge is in a court room as well as a pistol.. the JUDGE under the seat. HARDY is amazing
These are two powerhouse artists and performers who teamed up for an even greater performance. Hardy is a talented song writer and Lanie can just belt out the songs. Great reaction
Hardy is sooo good. I hope you continue down the Hardy road
I am a survivor of it and Independence Day, Martina Mcbride is luckily the way I didn't end up but it's an amazing song
Sorry you ever even had to experience that. It's bullshit. Happy you're here and surviving.

Preach!!! Totally agree with you. This world is crazy....
He got life she got the truck
Which is a shame. I would think a jury wouldn't have found him guilty, but yeah.
Bro you are a very articulate and intelligent guy, loved your analysis and reaction to a deep song.
New sub!! I am a Mississippi native!! Reside now in Tennessee! I love love Laney!!
Atta boy!! Great reaction. I was watching this like I was for the first time when I saw this!

ONE. OF. THE. BEST. SONGS. EVER. WRITTEN!!!
Love this song. He also has a song called Truckbed that I totally relate to. 🎉
Oooooo, Groot you should've been put me on Hardy. We'll definitely be doing his music again.
Decades ago, I was in a tough spot like this. Finally learned it was up to me, and no one but me. Couldn't allow a kind soul to risk his life and freedom for something I had to do for myself. Homeless with a couple of kids for a bit, but safer than we had been.
This is actually a true story. A friend of Hardy's. The guy got out early for good behavior and they got married. Have a couple kids now
New Sub Now !! Thanks for your Common Sense and Courtesy with this !!❤
You're very welcome, glad you heard what I was saying and happy to earn your sub. :)
Hardy has so many great songs but i'll choose one i love for you to hear, " Where To Find Me".

In the end that man will never hit anyony again, end of story.
I heard that this song was based on a true story that happened to one of Hardy's friends. Great story and song
Good man.

7:30 people, especially WOMEN, listen up cause he's speaking truth ❤
#Renagades Laney and Hardy's video is 🔥
Hardy is awesome there is so much more you need to check out he does country and rock iove everything he puts out
He only got put in prison because he kicked the door in. Then the death occured while he was committing another crime ie breaking and entering. If she had opened the door for him he might have been able to claim self defense.
True. Just sucks that, even in front of jury, he couldn't get nullification. No way I would've found him guilty.
@TheBlackSpeed I think that the point of the song is that Hardy's character knew that what he was about to do was going to land him in jail. But he did it anyway, because it was the right thing to do.

@@macmcgee5116 Lol I got all of that. It was pretty on the nose. :) I was just responding purely to the above comment from a legal perspective.

Mississippi here !
Man.. you are the bomb
Great reaction. Now, I'd love to see your reaction (if you haven't...i will look yet) to Chris Stapleton - Think I'm in Love With You.
I haven't, I haven't done a lot of country on the channel in general. I'ma have to change that.
@TheBlackSpeed i think you'll really enjoy it...I can't even guarantee it.
Hey man, what part of the MS Delta are you from? Greenwood here.
Grew up in Biloxi!
❤❤❤
🔥🔥
You want a great story counting, try a one-time song of the year by Brooks and Dunn. It's a true story for Ronnie Dunn. It's called "Believe"". You'll be better for listening to this song.
She is still waiting on his truck at the end
You'll like this one by Hardy as well - Give Heaven Some Hell -
I'll help you out with GREAT Country songs/videos - So many are emotional - give Kenny Chesney - There Goes My Life a listen as well as the above mentioned Give Heaven Some Hell by Hardy.
As a heavy metal listener and rap, I really don’t like country but a couple songs get me and this is one of them. I like this one and it’s hard for me to like country music
Born in the delta me as well
The big G Greenville/ Leland
You should try listening to Red Clay Strays! He does a cover of Brandi Carlisle’s ‘That wasn’t me’ that is great, but really so many of theirs are incredible.
Or ‘Sunshine’ by Red Clay Strays on Western AF. So good. Im Still Fine, Killers, Devil in my Ear… too many options, lol.

So hardy "sold out" or "mockingbird"... Great reaction now i gotta see if ya did Struggle n Caitlin
In the song, the dude knew what the consequences would be. He just decided she was worth the sacrifice, and real justice had to be done. Sad that abuse victims face a justice system that is lenient. He probably get out on bail and get a restraining order, but it is only a paper shield. Most abuser stalk and eventually harm the person. Try "Mockingbird and the Crow"
She's still waiting in the truck

HIT SOME UPCHURCH!!!!!!!! YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For a new country singer for your channel, I recommend Chris Janson - Drunk Girl or Tim McGraw Don't Take the Girl - both are great country songs
Man, could you check out No Judgement Day by Gary Allan it is a true story written about my hometown
Maybe he saw his mother or a sister die because of abuse, and he decided heres one i can stop. Just a thought.
Oh for sure, I talk on it. I know what he thought. I would do the same, I'd hope. It's just a shame, even with a jury, it cost his own life.
CHECK OUT HARDY - GIVE HEAVEN SOME HELL
I just subscribed at this moment. Please react to more country. ❤

I bet metallica would change your mind. Watch there video called one. Watch it and then tell me that rock doesn't have good writting
I subbed to you because of this react!... Great job!!! You should check out "A Rock" It'll blow you away!
I'm happy I can earn your sub! And yeah, I need to do more Hardy on the channel, loving the respect and reactions (pun intended) it's getting.
Sleep Token?
I need to do Sleep Token. I've heard a few of their songs and they're immensely good.
Ain't nothing good comes with the word's "wait in the truck". Sh t is pass the point of getting real with that phrase.
Bro
