    Hall's Red Poppy, 1933 through the 50's. It was used as a premium give away by the Jewel Tea Co. they made many, many different forms and dome items were trimmed in platinum. The mixing bowls were telling you to keep them, hope you find more!

    I love the Hall pieces. I love the color and design in them. You could add doors to your yellow hutch?? Then anything could go in there.

      We definitely plan to add doors! It's on the "to do" list, but to be honest, the list is very long, so I might be waiting a while.

    Grrrr… no prices! I love the things you love - tole and Limoges! I’ve wanted to go to Elephant’s Trunk but it’s just too far - over 100 miles one way. Thanks for the take along!

    Lots of beautiful things! The item at 4:47 is a hat pin holder. The backs of the pins can nestle in the tray.

    Limoges is the town where many manufacturers made porcelain dishes, vases, etc. Limoges is not the name of the china/porcelain, some of the most popular were made by Theodore Haviland, lots of manufacturers.

      Yes, that's why I often say "Limoges France" to specify the region. I have two big reference books I've recently picked up to learn more about the specific manufacturers from Limoges, but I haven't had time to go through them yet. It's definitely on my "to-do" list!

      Thank you! They're made by Tiffany. I've had them for a few years now, but I can't bear to buy new frames because I love my current ones so much!

    I see you buy English cups and saucers. I’ve heard there’s no market for them. I assume you can sell them in your E bay store. Do you have trouble selling them?

      I’m so glad there is little market for the hand painted china & limoge…. I love it & can load up economically. I would rather collect limoge than plain white ironstone… rolling pins…baskets…brass 60’s candlesticks. I’m more into Victorian furniture & 1880’s era things.

      They don't sell like wildfire, but I get the occasional sale. Sometimes I just buy things and list them on my store because I like them. It's the world's worst business strategy! 😂😂

      Thanks for responding. I like a lot of things you do but it doesn’t seem to be what the younger people like in general. Some of this decorating they post isn’t my cup of tea. I love how you have furnished your house. My kind of decorating.

    No prices are a part of going to a flea market! The dealer wants you to ask so they can haggle with you, you might just be surprised at the price. Also the single candlestick in the beginning of your video is a hat pin holder!

      Good thing I didn't try to put a candle in the hat pin holder - it could have only ended in tears! 😂😂

    How are Iris' ears doing?

    • @WorthingtonHome
      @WorthingtonHome  3 месяца назад

      Eh. They start to heal and I think they're all better, and then she rips off the scab. At least the problem is confined to one ear and not two. We've been making some changes to her diet, but we've not seen a lot of result yet.
