I never knew that the front headlights were smaller on the US speced cars. Wow. Rodd knows so much about these cars that if he had 1,000 videos on this channel i could watch them all. He is such a wealth of knowledge that you just don't find anywhere. If i ever have the money to buy one of these cars, i will be going to Park Ward.
To me the Series III cars were by far the best of the XJ offerings. The lines and sheet metal pressings, especially around the front of the bonnet, lights and fenders were superlative art. Not quite on par with the 420G and Silver Cloud III but exceptional none the less.
I have an 86 in Regal Grey and it's such a charm. Everything is heavy and feels like quality you can't find in cars today. Yours is a real stunner Rodd.
Thank you, Corey. They really are delightful cars. Most of the negative stories you hear about Jaguars are for those that are not well maintained and looked after. When they are in top condition, they are true darlings to enjoy and own.
love jags rod , pininfarina did a good job updating the car especially on those rear lights , I also love the mk2, s type and xj coupe . A nice example of mk 2 or s type would look great in your palace , their are some lovely examples of these 2 cars on you tube see 3.4 s walkaround or jaguar mk2 coombs . another car fit for park-ward would be the coachbuilt 1980s soviet ZIL 41071 from the late 80 s they are lovely ,looks very much like the mercedes grossser limousine but it has the dreaded gm style headlight s though it suits this car more than a spirit /spur , a few crew like touches the hubs, andthe ignition switch area . it can be found on you tube and google image
Sorry rod that s ZIL 41047 not 41071 best examples f this wonderful car can be found by googling then clicking on images ,I am BUGGING you about this as I think you would really approve of it
Oh I love it! If you decide to sell this lovely, will you message me? I very much love this model (it has sentimental value from many moons ago). Thank you!

Very true at 4:38 a Jaguar XJ6 S3 is a Rolls-Royce cousin! It does not look out of place in your fantastic showroom.

Hi "M" ..... reach out to me if you wish on 312-320-6996
Lovely
The Jags don’t carry the value, even though they are easily the most beautiful cars of all time.
Don’t sell it! You’ll regret it when it shoots up in value in years to come.
Those bumpers really ruin its elegance
