Splendid wundervoll
What??? No RR logo,on the fine china??? How infra dig!!! However, the rest of the accoutrements more than make up for it!! My 59 CLOUD II is beautiful but not as much!!!! Love Radford extras!!!
Lovely and the choice for location filming with music is perfect.
@@TheJohnebey thank you…. I enjoyed doing it also.
Love the job you've done on this Rodd. . Absolutely stunning! ❤
Très très chic
hi Rodd, great color spec, still looking for whhels for mine, no hurry: ruclips.net/video/SnzTWR3BP_c/видео.html
Great colour combination, I love a red interior. A very elegant car with the super smooth BMW/Cosworth V12 engine.
Magnifique combinaison de couleurs !
It's difficult to think of this car as a quarter of a century old...it's absolutely contemporary, timeless.
It's absolutely beautiful.
😊 I am lucky to have one of these very rare cars in my small collection of modern classic Rolls_Royce vehicles Rodd. They really are beautiful to drive. My example is a 1999 Silver Seraph.....
IMO so much classier than bmw era’s RRs. Love it. Wish you would have shown us that striking red interior. Looks yummy
😊 I absolutely agree with you. But keep in mind that this very last British designed and built Rolls_Royce model. Does have a B.M.W engine fitted !...
@@alancrisp1582 that is right I forgot!
@@alancrisp1582 The NAZI'S OWN Rolls-Royce now.
@@alancrisp1582 And also the gearbox, the a/c and heating controls, the wiper control, the ugly cruise control and so on… Having owned some RR and B (Crewe era), when the importer offered me to have a drive in a Seraph at the beginning of the 2000, let me say it was not an exciting experience. I cannot understand all what is going on recently with the Seraph. Unless I compare it with the Bmw Phantom. If they only had the money to develop both the chassis and the engines, it could have been a whole different story
Not really a fan of the newer models, but this is a beautiful specimen in a classic color scheme. ✅
And highly collectable and very rare model. The very last real British Rolls_Royce !.
Wow thats very low mileage on someone of them cars I thought my late 76 shadow was low at 17k
❤🎉❤🎉
Looks like a Mercury Monarch with Mercury Marquis Brougham hubcaps.
@@daniellatimer1876 indeed, styling cues were taken from Mercury especially the Marquis Brougham
@@roddsala4626 , my dad had a 1978 Mercury Marquis Brougham with those hubcaps on it.
That’s really sweet!❤❤❤❤❤
What a stunningly beautiful P6 LTD! I'm from California, so love seeing these cars up close like this.
The front end says "fine Corinthian leather"
This has a passing resemblance to - and would've been - a nice AMC Ambassador! The front end of this would've been much better than that hideous "coffin nose" front end adopted by AMC Ambassadors/Matadors in '74!
Boy, the front of the car really looks like a Chrysler Cordoba of 1975........
Fabulous car, great colours too. Was that filmed in Australia? There was a time when anyone in Australia who was anyone had one of these - from the Prime Minister down, these things ruled the road. Remarkable effort by Ford Australia to create a large luxury cruiser using mostly Falcon and Fairlane parts.
@@ashleygordon3467 indeed! This was/is filmed in country side Chicago, USA
I enjoy seeing cars that were not available for sale in the USA. My personal favorite is the P5 version of the Australian LTD, but this one stands out and must be quite a conversation piece for many people trying to figure out what it is.
All of your videos should start with “Hello Possums!” 😂
My deepest thanks from all of us in Australia Rodd!! What a delicious, sumptuous and exquisite example of one of my very favourite Ford vehicles anywhere on the globe. As you know, I owned a P5, so the LTD by Ford (AU) is dear to my heart. Magnificent! Her colour combination is very close to my lovely Shadow - again, delectable colourway :)
Rodd you should have used 1970s Porno music in this video.
🤣🤣🤣
Looks like an AMC Ambassador and a Chrysler Cordoba had a baby.
@@Htfsik 🤣
Beautiful specimen, Rodd. I like the Lincoln style light switches on the rear doors... I always thought that was the perfect place for reading light controls... with Cadillacs, you have to reach behind and over your shoulder... very awkward. The placement of the power seat controls on the console hints of Rolls-Royce, but the lack of power door locks surprised me. I also get a kick out of the flow through ventilation ports on either side of the rear window. Very nice. Unique. However, for perfect '70s luxury, it needs the quintessential coach/opera lamps. 😉
I love the color. Spectacular. I love Magnolia leather too. I don’t like the blue carpet, that should have been black or charcoal.
Thank you for pointning out the early features and such.
Still très très chic 👌
It appears to have the hubcaps from a Mercury Grand Marquis from the era. Were those standard issue on that car or were they put on it afterwards? I love the seats and don't believe even Lincoln offered the buckets and floor console. Nice car
@@RAS4915 the hubcaps look very similar to the Mercury Grand Marquis and I’m sure copied but; no, the LTD had 14” whereas the Grand Marquis were 15”. These are the original fitment cap.
I am interest in the car next to it. That looks like the Australian Ford LTD . Hopefully there can be a video on that vehicle.
@@RAS4915 thank you. There is a video on the LTD. have a look thru my list of videos.

@@roddsala4626 Thank you for sending that .Rare sight in the USA.
We had this model luved it!
Thank you Rod for sharing this video with us. For a car guy like myself, I appreciate seeing cars that are rare and not seen every day. It's a really appreciated!
Possibly one of the most elegant vehicles on the road
Magnificent example of
You have a vast selection of Rolls-Royce and Bentleys all the time on display. I would love to see your selection one day to buy.
1967 was a transition year for R-R. For the LHD cars, it was the first year that R-R used an American-built TH-400 3-speed automatic transmission. On the 1967 RHD cars, they used the tried and true GM American-designed, R-R built old Hydramatic 4-speed automatic transmission. Things to look out for is fluid seeping out of the weep holes on the sides of the engine block. If it is coolant, then the upper cylinder "O" rings are leaking. A sealing additive like Bars Leak may remedy that. If it is oil that is leaking then that is the lower cylinder "O" rings which are leaking. It is better to have a higher mileage car which has been driven regularly than a lower mileage cars which has spent most of it's life sitting in a garage. Another thing to look out for is the hydraulic fluid system. This system operates the brakes and suspension leveling systems. This system was brake fluid operated and depended on a fluid such as Castrol LMA. Brake fluid itself is corrosive and very flammable. If other than the Castrol LMA fluid has been used or not changed regularly, watch out. You will be in a heap of trouble. There are 2 high-pressure camshaft-driven hydraulic pumps in the chest cover of the engine. There are 2 pressure-multiplier manifolds mounted on the side of the engine block. Each has an accumulator attached to it and these need frequent service, so make sure you know someone who can maintain these before you take a car on like this.
What a beauty…and then the comments incl the great voice!
I always look forward to your videos Rodd. I thought I knew quite about about Rolls-Royce cars, but every time I see one of your videos I learn something new. Always interesting to learn how to tell early Shadows apart from "newer" ones! One of these days looking forward to hopefully visiting your showroom. Also - love that color on that sold Silver Seraph behind it!
1800TU is the Rolls Royce factory registration
This is fabulous
Love seeing a Silver Shadow with picnic tables
They were a standard fitment on the early cars, from @ 1969 they became an optional extra. I have the original sales invoice for my 1975 Bentley T1 and the picnic tabes were a £100 extra, the total price with 15% discount was £12,900 which was a huge amount of money then.
Tres chic
A beautiful example of an early car. Exceptional standard of restoration.
Exquisite Rodd, your showrooms are divine, surpassed only by these gorgeous ladies. This example is particularly delicious!
Lovely. Rodd Sala is superb.
Have a 2006 Arnage T 29,000 original miles , Looking for a Shadow or Sereph instead. Prefer RR
The interior door handle is so beatiful. And the RHD wipers. This should be a rare car indeed.
The interior of the early Shadow is considered by most enthusiasts to be the most attractive. The introduction of US federal safety standards in 1969 changed several things both internally and externally. The US was RR's biggest market.
