There's always so much traffic from Austin to San Antonio. Dread driving on IH35 going South. My hometown is southwest of SA. Safe driving.
Nice ride along interstate 35 south from Austin TX to San Antonio TX
I never been to San Antonio TX before
Nice ride on I 35 South from Austin to San Antonio
I been to San Antonio
Is this San Marcos?
I find it interesting that Austin has many miles of toll roads but San Antonio has none.
My guess is that's because San Antonio has 3 different interstates meeting, so "free" connectivity is desired
San Antonio also doesn't have a lot of NIMBYism like Austin.
Hopefully it stays that way 👀
Feels like the AuSA metroplex is taking shape!
Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Selma corridor
@@casmatori New Braunfels is in San Antonio area
@@MasonColemanWright1234Yes Actually the official name of the Metro area is the San Antonio-New Braunfels Metropolitan Statistical Area
@@MasonColemanWright1234 I know. I live in Canyon Lake. I was naming the locales that make up the built up area. New Braunfels is very much a separate city in feeling.
Yep. Just a matter of time
This is my "home" Interstate. I grew up in Round Rock. When I was a kid in the 80's this was multiplexed with U.S. 81 with Business 81 on the old road through town. In Round Rock I remember they changed it to Business 35 and then took it away. For a brief moment it was Mays St in Round Rock was singed "Loop 384"....I live in Florida now and it's interesting to see how unique Texas Interstate highways are compared to the rest of the country.
Sade 😀
In the city I work in Kyle.. we have 4-5 miles of "old hwy 81".. not sure if this was the old route of US 81 or Business US 81.. though the southern portion (1.5-2 miles) is signed Business I-35
I walked this route once. It took 3 days, walking 10 hours per day.
There's really no way to understand a highway until you walk it I feel. You can see and feel in intricate detail how the highway was designed and how crappy it may be to walk sometimes. Did you walk the freeway portion or Frontage road mostly?
Geez, things have really changed over there!
Won't be long before Austin and San Antonio are a new Metroplex
@@MileageMikeTravels Where's the San Antonio Spurs Stadium?
@@kennypalermo9071 at&t center in the east side of the city
5:50 Hays County or as my autocorrect likes to call it.. Hats County
12:00 since filming there has been like 12 different fast food style restaurants and a Costco added to the Home Depot plaza.. a year from now it will probably be unrecognizable
17:30 likely future home of the favorite Texas tourist trap known as Bucees (sometime in 2025)

49:30 So I-410 is basically TX Loop 410?
That loop 1604
@@MasonColemanWright1234 The VMS actually said Loop 410.
@@Markkos1992 410 is a loop but not a state highway loop. Its a US interstate loop.
@@Airbender19 Right, which is why the VMS saying Loop 410 was odd.
@@Markkos1992 locals usually never said i410 here, they say loop 410 or loop 1604 (the outer, state highway loop). oddly enough they do say i10 or i35. 410 is just a strange occurrence of locals not saying it
IS the video in actual speed or speeded up?
What’s worst? I-4 from Tampa to Orlando? Or I-35 from San Antonio to Austin? Because both corridor connect 2 close major metropolitan areas together.
Definitely i 4 35 between Austin and san antonio isn't bad except during rush hour
Interstate 4 is busier due to tourist traffic. Interstate 35 is only heavy at either end at rush hour.
Yeah I-4 is certainly worse. No real alternate routes either.
Y’all have spoken. I-4 is worst.

The audacity of that truck driver to stay in the left lane knowing full well he ain't supposed to.
I cant stand that you ppl always go south can you plz do a video going 410 west lol
I have never seen such bad drivers in my life, why is everyone on the middle lane, heck even the left lane while they are not passing any cars. Why are people passing on the right lane. Even worse, why are there trucks on the left lane. Do these people just get a license without doing anything?
This is pretty normal in Texas 😂 some people in the left lane be driving their brains off, though.
I don't think you're in Kansas anymore 😁.. these things don't bother me what does is I'm in the right lane doing close to 80 and way too many people pass me like I'm standing still.
@@GamingWithLondon I would cry when driving there haha
@@jasonthompson8157 I'm from the Netherlands, the furthest thing from Kansas haha. Why do you mind people driving faster though? Shouldn't really bother you unless they are driving dangerous speeds
