- If five people like this video I'll redo the rocker panel.
Upon retrospection, trying to weld a small strip of metal between the two panels was not going to work, but I didn't know that then. The cargo floors came out nice though, looking forward to being able to weld them in after some of the other pieces are in place.
Thanks for watching :)

I have been checking in daily for weeks and weeks now waiting for the next installment. I thoroughly enjoy my time sitting with a coffee and watching this project come along. Brandon...well done, sir. You are knocking it out of the park!
I appreciate you checking in! Moved garages and some family stuff slowed me down, but I’m back at it every day now!
Awesome repair work. Love your method of rebuilding your Volkswagen bus. Keep up the great work
Thanks! Most of my method I learned from watching other YT channels
The work on the rocker panel is a hard one. Your just about there just needs more dolly and hammer work or a slapper. To help you find the high and lows use a long body file and file the surface. The floor looks extremely nice as always. Keep up the great work. Thanks for sharing. Bob. 👍😁👍
Thanks Bob! I definitely could keep working the panel, I need some acetylene or a shrinking disc but I think I’m going to redo it completely.
This is the most useful video on YT. For us, who restore our van :D Thanks man! Keep going, please!
I appreciate it! Not stopping anytime soon. 🙂
Coming along nicely. Great work as always. Keep em coming man 👍 👍👌👌
Thanks Craig!
Your work is superb. I can understand that you are disappointed with the panel you tried to re-use with the fill in strip, but you gave it a try. Other restorers would be happy to accept what you achieved, but you're a perfectionist: at the end of the day, what matters is whether the restorer is satisfied with the outcome, so I wouldn't describe the job as a failure, just something that didn't work out for you this time and a learning experience for the next. Best wishes.
So true! Thank you for the kind comment. The perfectionist in me definitely wants to start over in some areas, but many of the repairs are strong enough and will look straight with some fiberglass reinforced filler.
A very ambitious project. I admire your dedication and tenacity and truly enjoy watching your journey. Great seeing the young'un helping out too.
It really is a journey, and I love getting the kids involved!
Very nice work. Hello from Belarus 🇧🇾

Bredda yuh skills bad!!!
I’m very much in the beginner category but I’ll get the hang of it.
Rocker panel is fine just need more time on it ;) skim coat will hide most of it .
My rabid perfectionism says it’s not fine.
@@BrandonsBus😂 I hear you but you want to be driving that thing before the kid goes to college 😜
It feels more like a prototype build than a refit.
Hahah true
Nice, how do you like that harbor freight spot welder?
The 220v version works much better than the 120!
@@BrandonsBus good to know
If you see this Bully, how it was rusted hidden, in between the metals... I would never buy one like these, because I couldn't repair it. I mean there are none Bully without that rust - or am I wrong?
I don’t know, I think they are all pretty rusted out. This one more than most 🙃
At 6:20 , did you make that outrigger? I’m about to do almost all of the same repairs on the floor of my 72
I ended up buying all new outriggers, they were really inexpensive and helped me with the placement of the inner rockers.
