Nice little grouping of BBW fragrances there :) I agree that BBW fragrances should be more respected and rated more highly. I love that you are reading Jean Claude Ellena, so many of the fragrances he created for Hermes are big loves for me. I also like that you mentioned that these mists are made by the same perfumers and use many of the same aroma chemicals as luxury and niche brands. In fact, BBW and Victoria's Secret fragrances come from the same place. You are right, BBW doesn't focus as much on floral's as other scent groups, but VS does and they have some really great floral's.
I like all of these that you mention here, but I don't have the Lilac. I must say that I do love vanilla, it's my favorite perfume note. It's what started me on my perfume journey like 20-some years ago now. The fragrance that got me going on it was BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar - and I wore it every single day even at bedtime, every day of the year, that's how much I loved it then. I still can't get enough of the vanilla musk's and WVS is just that plus it's warm, comforting and soothing, like a big hug but not heavy, it has a lightness to it, like a fluffy cloud. Great for layering.
I also do love some floral's, especially white florals and roses. I agree, their Night Blooming Jasmine is so good, and Fairytale is great which I layer with Libre, and I love Dahlia too but it's not as floral on my skin. Has that one been dc'd??? I can't remember. I've been wanting to try Chasing Fireflies, that's on my wish list right now. I don't know the scent that you associate with it though, but it sounds very pretty. Thanks so much for your work on these video's, I am enjoying them very much.
