I fixed, opened the mic part. There is some water content. I dried that. Now it’s fine. Be careful while opening, don’t break the clips

I didn't know where the microphone was. There is no little dot hole that suggests where the mic is. BUT in the web instructions, they say the mics are the two dots at the meeting of the wire stems and the earbuds. They're wrong I guess..Who's telling the truth here??????
The microphone in Apple EarPods are not in the volume controls. It never has, the microphone is actually up top. The little slit on the sides of the ear buds, the tiny tiny one on the very back, facing outwards. The reason the microphone symbol is, there is because back when those were first released, you could press that to mute or unmute your microphone. Although you are most likely still right on why the microphone is not working. I just wanted to educate you on where the microphone actually is.
Before making such a statement have you actually disassembled the earpods ? I have just disassembled mine (legit earpod’s bought from apple store) and the mic is in the remote board so the guy is actually right. Maybe your making confusion with airpods.
@@rsaj-cq6ne OK first off I literally made this comment two months ago. And I have completely forgotten about it. And whatever microphone is that you have found is most likely secondary because if you put in the EarPods and those two little things I was talking about and talk to your Mac or your iPhone that has a sound bar showing you how much sound it’s picking up it will pick up very little and if it picks up more than they probably changed it in the 2023 models because the older models did not have one in the bar.
This is completely wrong. Not sure how long ago this might have been the case but for the last at least three years the mic has been in the little control box. This is the case for my earpods from 2020.
@@Rezzinator443 the earpods i’ve disassembled one is from 2014 and one is from 2017 and one 2020. They all have only one mic and its located in the remote control board. There is just only one mic. Have you dismantled one before making these statements?

I opened mine and there's an oil or some liquid inside the microphone and volume control I used a blower and now it's working ❤
