Nice video and congrats on the Caspian Tern. I remember how exciting it was to get two of them on my home patch in Massachusetts a few years ago - such cool birds.
Glad to see you got the godwit Kayleigh, a great bird to see, so lucky it is staying around for a while. The tern was well worth the wait, but had it not been for the traffic, I am sure you would have got it that day. But to be able to view it alone, what a treat! Just 10 more species to reach your target! I wish you both well and, er.......look forward to next year when you go for, erm, 300!!!!
@@TheBackyardAviaryAdventures I have every confidence in you! Work seems to get in the way, but the pennies help the fuel bill. You are both doing amazingly well and as always a joy to watch! And I've still not even managed to get to Minsmere yet this year, so watching others out and about increasing their year lists!
I laughed at the mugs clanking in the van. It sounded like you'd kidnapped someone's cow.
it was definitely the mugs, we keep the cow quiet!

don't think we would manage 300. maybe 250 or 260, lets see how we end this year.

Brilliant video Guys. The American Wader was a treat to see! Thanks for posting, cheers, John.
Old Moor is my home patch... Sorry we missed you... 👍😀
Next time!
Awesome adventure! I loved seeing the spoonbill, that's a bird I really want to see someday! Keep up the great videos!
they are getting more common here, book a flight!
Haha would love to come looking for birds with you two as it always look like a good adventure with cool birds..
sounds good! lets do it, where are you?
Funny to see how easy I can see Caspian Tern in my surroundings just across the North Sea but it is so scarce in the Uk and a real mega in Ireland 😮
Although I live in a different continent, I can say the same thing
Thanks
Thanks so much, we really appreciate it.
Another great video 😊
Thank you 🤗
Check out that shrew. It is big and has white hairs on the edge of its ears. Water Shrew I think.
Sorry to be a pain! : What app do you get on your phone to alert you to UK rarities?? Thanks, John.
