Wrynecks are generally complete buggers, and usually completely vanish after about 10am. you're better off trying to find your own - awesome feeling. I found one in Sussex this Autumn (8th one I've found) but it qualifies in the bargain bucket of worst ever views of Wryneck of which there have been quite a few! My mate saw it much better the next day.
