No probs man! I realised afterwards that you just said small and pocketable, as opposed to point and shoot. But yeah, others have made plenty of good suggestions already. Half frame can be a great way to go, the Olympus XA is nice, and the Rollei 35 series!

if u can find it the fujifilm Klasse W or S. i wont deny there arent many cameras with exposure compensation
Heading off to UK, Spain and Portugal in May from Melbourne - how do you go about not getting your film CT scanned - how are you carrying your film?
Good question! I talk about this from 6:47. Keep film unpackaged in a clear zip lock bag, have it ready, and persist in a friendly way as much as possible.

do you ever stand or semi-stand develop pushed film? e.g., Rodinal 1:100 for an hour.
Never tried! I generally like to get it developed and hanging to dry in one session, so haven't been tempted yet.
I had the same strategy with 3200 in Heathrow, where they are really stroppy no matter how polite you are, bastards took the 3200 out for handcheck and xrayed the rest. Next time i will slap a sticker on every roll.
Man that's cruel! It would have probably been easy enough to hand-check all of it.
