How do you feel about this big ball of 'new' Mazda has come up with? Would you take the CX-90 or the Kia Telluride?

I just don’t understand why car companies design their screens that way. Like at what point during the test drive were they craning their entire bodies over to select something on the screen and were like yeah this is perfect 👍🏻
Every screen should be within reach, and preferably slightly angled towards the driver. There is literally NO OTHER WAY that makes sense!…But still these luxury car companies churn out these short narrow screen halfway behind the dash in 80k vehicles where you gotta reach over while trying to look at the road if you’re not Wembanyama…not to mention the responsiveness of a 2007 iPod touch so you have to locate the button and hit it firmly in the center while nearly side swiping a cyclist.
Seriously tho, what is with the fickle unergonomic designs of the infotainment in 2023. Took Audi years to return to touch screen after having a bullshit turn dial operated pop up screen and same with lexus, yet toyota and vw stayed touchscreen.
Who is making these decisions up there lol I seriously wanna get them in a room and ask them the reason. Sorry for the rant…That is all…nice review

Ha, I definitely hear that. This one isn't really within reach I think because the touch is an afterthought. It's supposed to be used with the knob and dial, but I think enough people complained that they decided to let you use AA and ACP with touch, and now it's annoying to get to. I'm glad to see some automakers are starting to put the touchscreen closer and angled toward the driver. Then you get GM making them right in between the driver and passenger but angled up for some reason. I don't know who's making the decisions ha, but at least some of them are starting to finally come around. Hopefully more follow suit.
