    I have been trying to learn how to do make this for over a year. I've watched every video and tried to read every pattern available. But I couldn't figure it out if my life depended on it. And then your video appeared and after just one watch, bam! It clicked! Now I can make them with my eyes closed. I really can't thank you enough for taking the time to make this video. You did an excellent job and I am so grateful!

    Amanda I want to thank you so much for a wonderful video. I am also very grateful for the diagram. This makes it so much easier for myself since I am a beginner and a slow learner. I will donate to Frankies cause and I hope others will also. A donation to any cause is always great and especially a child 's.

    Thank you Amanda for doing this video for us visual learners I just started a blanket my first two corners which I understand you do the corner 1 and corner 2 twice at the first of the blanket then after that you join then that is where I am lost about what you do after you done the first joining I felt lost .

    Thanks for sharing. I'm already very good at the ten stitch pattern that I downloaded by Charity Windham converted to loom from needle by Frankie Brown but I must admit, you've almost made the e wrap version look more appealing; only it seems a tad intimidating after having a routine way of using the u-knit in such a way that allows me loom without looking. Those looms look very appealing too btw. I'd love to get my hands on some CinDwood looms but being on a tight budget allows me Loops and Threads which works for the time being but it is like comparing a fine pinot gris (yes please!) to a Miller light (Ew) lol.

    So after your 4th triangle, you connect your original rectangle. When you connect your rectangle to your triangle, that’s actually what makes the next rectangle correct? If I am correct, then I think I’ve got it.

    I love your video, it's been so helpful. I'm curious though,in the other video on the increase/decrease you purl across, yarn around then knit back. On this video you knit across, yarn around then purl back. I'm just curious does it make a difference which way, as long as you stay consistent?

    It'd be really helpful if you would explain which pegs you're skipping. Ive had to restart my blanket 5 times, to come realize your not knitting in this peg, or purling on that one. Its just super confusing and could be explained so much better.
    Otherwise love your blankets they are amazing. Now that i got the hang of this its a good video, just confusing at first for someone whose super literal like me.

    Question, what is the difference when you put your connecting stitch on the 10th peg and others use an 11th peg to making the side connection. Is there more or less bulk on the connection seam. I am trying to fine a way to make a very fine stitch or less bulky seam. Thanks in advance , Carol

    • @cindwoodlooms
      @cindwoodlooms  9 лет назад

      Carol Wileman no matter how many pegs you use to make the blanket you use the last peg to connect. this patter just uses 10 pegs.

    • @MissRaynen
      @MissRaynen 7 лет назад

      Carol Wileman, I know what you mean about the 11th peg. I would use the 10th peg if you wanted it to be a more visible seam, so the 11th peg would probably be better for a smoother seam.

    • @cindwoodlooms

      Jennie Payne no, it will not mess up the outcome. The reason i do this is due to habit. When you loom knit flat panels this technique helps them lay flatter.This project will lay flat on it own.

    When you are doing the corner part 2, it is very confusing when you say e wrap then go back and purl and we see you picking up pegs to wrap and going backward to purl. It would be much more helpful if you called the pegs by number. With the yarn so dark, and also hard to see, calling out the peg numbers would help tremendously. I've tried writing down the instructions, but again when you get to the wrapping and purling with no indication of what peg number you are doing, it's confusing. if you don't want to give the peg a number when you are teaching, if you labeled each peg 1,2,3, etc...the viewer could see what peg you are on.
