At the crossroads...we we're ALWAYS met with snooker balls golf balls bottles pint glasses etc...it was all part of the fun.....! Progressed to the ordinary after that....scrappin in the Arndale shoppin center with the mancs was a regular thing.....two good sets of lads....the norm for the 80's.....great times....!!

These are the days when it was English football. Last twenty years it’s international football played in England with very few British players. The name English premier league needs to be changed.

2:45 That Liverpool goal was sensational but the commentary from Martin Tyler did it no justice whatsoever with just a matter of fact tone & saying "clinically done".
Clinical is scoring a tap in ffs, this was on another level, it was an absolute gem.
I've always felt Martin Tyler was only ever good when partnered with Andy Gray, together they worked really well but when Tyler is on his own quite frankly he's as boring as it gets.

Typical of United in the '80s. Definite quality, Robson wasn't even playing in this, but not clinical, and even when they were beating the top sides, they'd drop points against relegation candidates, whereas the Scum had an air of invincibility, especially at Anfield, which took another decade to evaporate after this game. Nearly men, especially in 1985/86

So I kindly point out to you that you are mistaken and yet I'm the idiot?! To my non racist way of thinking, blood is blood unless you're talking about specific blood types but regardless, go tell the Irish that they're British. I suggest that you wear trainers and sports clothing when you do so, by the way, as you might have to run fast.
