DC accepting their more comedic side instead of forcing dark and Depressing stuff down our throats while wearing brightly colored costumes is the best decision they've made in a while
They should just fully embrace the comic book-ness of Superheroes, while still making them realistic. Dark and depressing is not realistic, that's grimdark. Batman is a dark hero but not all the time. He can quip, smirk, crack a joke, shake hands with Superman, even fight in the daytime when needed, has a bunch of colorful partners.
@@foldabotZ yeah, the time of Teen Titans, Justice League and the old DC Cartoons were their best years because of their connectivity and fun. Young Justice to me felt odd as a kid but I still liked it because of the little comedic moments in between. Them forcing the philosophical and dark stuff down my 10 year old throat felt so odd to the point that I couldn't even enjoy the Superman movie because I kept asking why there was alot of skulls and why one of my favorite heroes was being sent to jail when the Avengers and Co. Were still free and partying

Don't get me wrong, I like his movies, I fucking love Justice League, but it's childish and hypocritical when people say Peacemaker, Aquaman, and Shazam are bad or cringe and everything should be like ZSJL. That sort of monotony and blatant brand identity is their biggest complaint with the MCU but it would apparently be a good thing if DC did it with Snyder's atmosphere.
