As a 35 year old in 2020 who finally got to buy his first car on his own I totally agree. My 2018 Sentra isn’t flashy. It’s not going to impress anyone. But it’s mine. It gets me where I need to go. It’s fun to drive compared to what I use to drive. It just works. I love it. Didn’t seek it out. It was just what I could afford at the time. But it totally works.

Same I just bought a Nissan Sentra with only 35,000 miles on it. It's been in an accident and has a couple dents but is worth the price he told me I'm going to have to put 2,000 into it to fix up the outside and the front sensor doesn't work but it's totally worth it! You are not going to find a car like this with only 35,000 miles for 6,600$ dollars.

I just bout a 2018 Sentra with 37k miles on June 24, 2020. I get about 29 city mpg and best highway 47 mpg. No joke. If I could add a pic I would. The truck space is great. It fits my husbands manual wheel chair with plenty of room for groceries due to the depth of the trunk. Though I have only had it a little over a week, the Nissan Sentra is now my favorite car. The Chevy Malibu was my prev fave lol

And it does have Emergency Braking, its not great, one time it came on, and the brakes sound like they scrape and it barely slowed down.. Do not recommend.. Pay attention.

Does the revs stay up for a couple of a couple of seconds between shifts when trying to drive hard?

I hear bad news from the automatic transmissions . Guess depending how hard its driven. Looks nice .my daughter has an 07 Nissan Atima 80,000 it's nice. Be nicer if she kept it clean. Mom had a 98 Nissan Sentra automatic sedan . Not one issue in the 10 years she owned it. Before she passed away. I was going to buy it. My brother sold it without telling anyone.

just do not hammer on it and get the cvt fluid changed every 30 thousand miles and you will be fine. Do not smack it to the floor that hurts you acceleration and shortens the life of the cvt. They cannot take abuse.

I'm looking at a car like this to replace my 2006 4 Runner. Mainly because the gas mileage in it is terrible.
I don't need anything fancy or flashy. I'm fine with mundane and boring as long as it gets good MPG and is reliable.
That's one thing I'm concerned with about Nissans. The CVT wasn't one of Nissan's most reliable transmissions back in the mid 2000's. From what I've heard, there were a lot of recalls and lawsuits regarding them.

I got to drive this thing for about 3 days as a replacement for my regular vehicle, and i hated every moment of it... That 1.8 is so... Ughhhhhhhh, noisy, slow, just plain weird... My regular vehicle is a 2018 Suzuki Crossover 1.4 Turbo... No rocket of course, but compared to this thing... An F1 racer... The interior of the Sentra is also kinda... Dull, very cheap feeling imho... Did not like that car at all... Maybe in a higher trim level and with a different engine it would be a much better car... The outside looks is not bad actually...
