So what do you think of the 2018 Nissan Sentra SR Midnight Edition? Merch: finaldriveshow.bigcartel.com Facebook: facebook.com/finaldriveshow/?ref=bookmarks Instagram: instagram.com/finaldriveshow/
Kudos to the entire setup and film crews as well as the narrator. Amos you must be doing well to have the dozen or so crew members it took to produce and shoot this newest Final Drive segment. (Or else you are an extremely talented individual.) Double thumbs UP!
The wipers in the Sentra are able to lift when you have them in the middle of the windshield and there is a small trick to it that not many people knows but is very simple
I own one and love it except mine is Super Black, I have a lot of fun with the car and it handles very well for being a Sentra and it handles very well, I've gone around 45 mile-an-hour corners at 70 with minimal to no body roll and plenty of traction
Yeah, it's an amazing car and Nissan has definitely stepped up their game with it! I cant wait to see what they do to them next, I work at a Nissan Dealership in my town and heard Nissan is probably about to redesign the Sentra! I'm excited!
My first car was a 2012 red Sentra and I loved it to death! I bought an mks with my husband a couple years ago, and now with the divorce and me moving and having to sell my old Sentra I knew I wanted another Nissan if possible. After driving the mks primarily the last couple years I knew transitioning to a vehicle I could afford would suck because of options. And then I saw the 2018 Sentra sr midnight edition.... I don't feel like I'm losing an amazing car with either the mks (which my ex is keeping) and the Sentra I had to sell (which my ex ran into the ground). I have the options I was looking for and then some, and I'm continuing the legacy of my first car. AND it looks badass as fuck!
I own the turbo cvt and my only complaint is that for a small engine it isn’t peppy enough from the takeoff. It saves power for higher speeds and is very impressive from 50-75. the manual turbo is probably quicker off the jump
Thanks for sharing Adam! I imagine the manual turbo is quicker from a stop as well especially since Nissan doesn't use an actual 1st gear for their CVTs like other manufacturers.
Well for the Nissan there is a future to lift the wiper arms up by pulling up on the lever 2 times. It’s not design flaw lol. I love my Sentra. The CVT is the only sucky part about the car.
Thanks for the tip! However, there isn't a need to invent a procedure to service the wipers when lifting them by hand has worked for decades. Glad you luv your Sentra Nicholas!
@@nicholasadkins6469 I'm sorry to see you go Nicholas, but this channel is about exposing both the good and bad about the cars we review. Like the description says, brutally honest auto reviews. Good luck to you!
That's difficult to answer because "good" means different things to different people. For some, price makes a good car or reliability or comfort, etc. I suggest deciding what's "good" to you AND then go for a test drive to see if you like it.

Just bought one as my first newer car and it kept surprising me what you get for the price. I got an all black midnight 2018 SR with 32k miles for 16k
Congrats! 🎉 Nissan did a great job reinventing the Sentra with this generation.

That's awesome Mitchell! The 7th gen Sentra is definitely one of the best iterations yet.

Cheers to continuing the Sentra legacy! 🍻 When you find something you love, you stick with it and the Midnight Edition looks great in SR trim.
Nissan sentras are good quality cars, it is dependable as far as I know.

Yes it was. 😂
Nice work Amos. But I want to see more in the SR even if it means I would have to pay a few thousand more! Go all out Nissan!!!!!!!!
Thanks Miguel! Nissan has been improving it year over year, so here's hoping more is on the way.
Awesome video!
Thanks Justin!

Final Drive Well clearly your channel is to bash cars so I think I’m gonna take my views somewhere else

Did somebody have a problem w the transmission on this one already?
I haven't heard many widespread issues with the 2018 Sentras. It's the 2013-2016 Nissans that have the most CVT issues.
Mine is 2017....have not had many issues..
Mine is 2006 NO ISSUES LOL
came here scared thinking my 2018 sentra was screwed 72,000 miles and no issue besides I kinda want a little more speed just a better take off
So is a 2018 nissan sentra a good car yes or no?

I have one and it’s good enough for me if you want more out of a car just get a sports car
