man that last beat was hard as hell! also i liked the segment w ayejones, i’d love to see some podcast-esque mini interviews with people in the industry. super excited to see where you take this series!!
He says he has a voice that tells him that he is not good enough, but when I see his videos I am the one who feels that way lol, you are the most talented and creative producer I have seen in a long time.
i think the best way to get a placement is by contacting the people near to an artist u wanna work with. whether it be their engineer or people generally in their circle.
it depends on the conditions it usually says, a lot of people use other melodies if it’s royalty free and whatnot but if u getting placements u gotta kno how do cookup your own melodies

Beat-wise i think you should pay attention to what is trending, that way i feel like you're casting a wider net as to who might want to hop on a beat and you're catering to alot more people; but on the complete contrary I also suggest making beats for specific rappers and sending them their way, like you already have a pretty damn good standing at almost half a million subscribers so its likely you'd be heard. On a side note I HIGHLY suggest you hone your mixing craft, it'll open up a whole different world of opportunities to work with new people and possibly meet more important ones, I feel its absolutely essential seeing that you've got your own studio and possibly some new artists stopping by in the near future. For some good mixing inspiration i often turn to a lot of the mixes on Yung Lean's "starz" album, insanely complex and interesting mixes to be heard here bro i highlyyyyy suggest: ruclips.net/video/vYdmrLYftlI/видео.html
@Servida Music ayo simon lil secret sauce for you that i havent been able to find anywhere online: 1: route your vocal to a mixer chanel 2: (optional) insert a light vocal doubler of your choosing 3: insert fruity stereo enhancer and turn the middle knob to about 11ish oclock 4: turn down the dry/wet of the plugin until its almost completely off 5: route your vocal to a send channel and turn down the volume maybe half way 6: (again optional) insert a slightly heavier vocal doubler 7: insert another stereo enhancer and turn the middle knob to about 9 oclock this time 8: once again turn down the dry wet almost all the way 9: finally, pan the send channel to about 2-3 oclock right and the original vocal channel slightly to the left as much to your liking My universal mix to get a clean ass vocal sound if its not fitting right, you never want it to be totally mono because the low mids of your voice can clash heavily with your bass. 4: turn down the dry/wet of the plugin until its almost completely off
5: route your vocal to a send channel and turn down the volume maybe half way
6: (again optional) insert a slightly heavier vocal doubler
7: insert another stereo enhancer and turn the middle knob to about 9 oclock this time
8: once again turn down the dry wet almost all the way
9: finally, pan the send channel to about 2-3 oclock right and the original vocal channel slightly to the left as much to your liking
