    Brilliant video. I've got a 2010 Jazz and although it's a bit of a Granny's car it's been so reliable.

      Hi thanks for your comment
      To be honest all you need is a jack and set of axle stands ive a few older videos where i serviced cars on the ground. A lift is much easier obviously especially for filming purposes

    • @peugeotCitroen2CV
      @peugeotCitroen2CV  4 года назад +1

      Not sure where the fuel filter is a lot of petrols here dont have filters. The plugs will be an interesting video but not the easiest to reach on this generation of Jazz

    2009 Honda Fit Sport owner from the Alamo city in Texas. Appreciate the service video's on the Fit/Jazz. Please do more. I have a starter issue where it is grinding on a cold engine start up. Also have leaking high pressure AC hose that needs replacing. Getting lots of squeaks from front suspension on cold days (frontend only). HOW TO remedy these would be helpful. Thanks for taking the time to make Honda Jazz/Fit videos.

      Hi there
      Glad to hear you are enjoying the videos on this car, ive just finished working on one i got for my mum dealing with rust underneath it. Living in northern ireland we get salt on the roads on the winter so rust is a bit of an issue, air con is rarely used although i might look about getting this one regassed for the summer. Id say the suspension is probably the bushings in the lower arms. The starter, i have a video on doing the clutch on one of these cars and do show the removal of the starter in the process. It might be worth taking it off and inspecting it. There should be places about that can refurbish them.

    In europe this is a 1.4 engine but its actually a 1339 CC motor. I think they did this because the euro norms. They are stricter for larger engines then smaller engines.

    • @peugeotCitroen2CV
      @peugeotCitroen2CV  3 года назад +1

      This is down in the log book as a 1339cc but they round it up to 1.4 for whatever reason.

      Same here with a 2005 model. It's a well known issue to Honda, there's a TSB to correct this...

    Hello mate,good video.I have a question to ask you,how many miles you can go with the oil you use in your car?,Thank you

    • @peugeotCitroen2CV
      @peugeotCitroen2CV  4 года назад +1

      Every car is different, they all have their own recommended service intervals in the handbook.
      My own car is a Peugeot 406 2.2 Diesel. I would do the oils and filters every 10,000 miles or year whatever comes first.
      This Honda im not sure on the mileage interval (again check the book) but my mum does a small amount of driving in this jazz so like her old car a 2.0 Diesel citroen Xsara i will change the oil and filters every year just after the MOT test. The most important thing is to keep a note of when it has been serviced so that it doesnt get skipped.

    Thank you very helpful , I have a honda jazz 2012 1,3 , I feel that the power in the 4th and 5th gear is low. is it because of the spark plugs or something could be the reason?

    • @peugeotCitroen2CV
      @peugeotCitroen2CV  4 года назад

      There could be many reasons for it. Have you had the car long and did you notice it happen suddenly or gradually?
      Is there any lumpiness about how the car runs, misfiring, odd noises?

    • @alessandroserrao9422
      @alessandroserrao9422 9 месяцев назад

      Spark plugs should have been replaced every 40000kms

    I am wondering is UK Honda recommend to use 5w-30? In AUS they use 10w-30. I looked at the user manual. Do not have specific rating for jazz. Just give you a chart from 0w-30 to 15w40
    The dealer in aus used Castrol magnetic 10-30( I believe it semi-synthetic) but I want to use 5w-30(full synthetic).

      I will have to mention i do not follow oils with much interest, tried to read articles about engine oils but to be honest they put me to sleep.
      I just let my local motor factors supply what their computer deducts is the correct oil after putting the car reg in. If the handbook states the oil then i get that.
      I think there would be different grades used depending on the temperature, thats why some of those charts plot against temperature, then there is notes about arduous conditions. Best thing to do is also ask on the owners clubs to see what people use in their cars.

    Sparkplugs?

    • @peugeotCitroen2CV
      @peugeotCitroen2CV  5 месяцев назад

      As they were not giving any problems it did not seem like they needed any attention at this time, the service history showed they had been done the year before i got the car

    the brake fluid is very corrosive, you should take care not to put on anywhere...

      It is corrosive if let sit
      If promptly washed off with brake parts cleaner its not a problem
