though I had some problem with sea water It also ruclips.net/user/postUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
Not a bad first trip to the beach Gin. Just found your channel. I gotta say you are one of the most positive and happy diggers I have seen. Happy hunting and be well
You don’t even know how much I love this comment! I’m all about positive vibes, positive people, and just having fun and enjoying life as much as possible. 😍❤️🍀
@@LuckyGin same here my motto is stress free is the way to be. I have found over the years I have always been the happiest when I'm around good people or helping someone in need. Thank you for bringing us along for the adventure.
Hey there Lucky Gin! Thanks for taking us along on your MD trip! One small tip I'd like to give you, is to always k specific to beach hunting is to keep your detector ground balanced. The dry sand vs the packed wet sand can really give you totally different target VDIs. (You may have already known this.) I LOVE your enthusiasm for the hobby and the genuine smile! Keep up the good work!
@@LuckyGin You're a busy lady! I was watching a few more of your videos today. One you're in SD the other you're in Wyoming! On another one, you're in Tennessee! Impressive how much ground you've covered! Again, keep up the great videos and thanks for sharing your hobbies with us! Your enthusiasm is contagious!😊
I definitely was being careful. Thankfully the cut proof gloves I ordered have arrived, so I’ll have them for the next beach trip. Thanks for visiting my channel. 🤗
I swear that background audio is exactly the same as my last massage.... quite lovely. Takes away the pain of some of the can slaw and bottle caps I dealt with today. HH😊
Nice job and now I see you do have a scoop. The positive I get from this video is you found two nickels. The rule of thumb is if your finding nickels … you’ll find gold rings. They come up the same. I found at least 10 of those Euro coins on the beaches up here in CT.
Thanks so much Johan. I’m so glad to have you stop by my channel. I’m heading to a different beach this coming week and will hopefully have a great new video with good finds. Wish me luck! 🍀
Thank you.😉. The Nokta Gold Kruzer served me well and I still have it. It’s really meant for nugget hunting though, and the fisher is made for the beach and salt water. That’s why you always see me use it now. 🍀
Looks like you had fun. Just a suggestion, but if you find a sand scoop half that size you will be able to dig without having to lower your detector to the sand. Also, if you ever detect in the shallow water you won’t be able to put the detector down, so getting used to dig holding both the scoop and detector will make life easier. Good hunting!
Hi Brian, thanks for stopping by my channel. You know, I looked long and hard at those sand scoops where the handle is half the length but I didn’t see anybody else on RUclips using them. I thought maybe everybody used the tall ones for the leverage, and there was something about the smaller ones they don’t like. Do you use the smaller version and have good luck with it?
@@LuckyGin I would suggest finding a retail store if possible that sells scoops so you can see what style feels right for you. A smaller basket is what you might want.
When all the sand has been washed off the beach it might be 5 to 15 feet deeper that's when you find the old stuff always look for this after a big storm in the area your area you could find a fortune maybe even some pirate treasure gold saloons or treasure from the lost fleet or Spanish galloens.
I’m hoping to be able to go right after a storm. It’s a 9 hour drive for me to get to the beach, but hoping I’ll be able to go again when there’s a better chance of finding the old treasure. 🍀🙂
Gin, in one of your vids you mentioned that the arm rest on your Deus 2 was too long for you. I was waggin around on ebay the other day and I saw that someone is making a shorter version of that arm rest. I think I found it by requesting: Accessories for the Deus 2. if you're still having that problem you might look into there. Best wishes.
Great video of your beach adventure near Charleston! We are at Folly Beach this week sight seeing and doing some photography. I usually do detecting but will be back at it on our next trip. We live in Florence. Thanks!!
Thank you. ❤️ The only downside I’ve found so far with the makro gold kruzer is that you can’t use it in the saltwater. As soon as it touches the actual water it overloads. Works great in freshwater though, and it did fine on the wet sand.
@@LuckyGin that's good to know. I will mainly be using it along some rivers and dried up creeks looking for small gold nuggets here in Washington state. I bought the simplex for the beach and seems to work good but it loves rusty nails. Thanks for the reply Gin.
