I thoroughly enjoyed your Sweater Finish It or Frog It videos, so I'm hyped for this little series!

Lovely work! The zigzag one would make a great gift or silent auction donation since the yarn might be hard to use with cuts. The big semi circular one towards the end would make a lovely sweater😂. Keep chugging on the rest!

The rocking rows wool could be striped socks or at the very least, heels and toes of different socks : ) Love all your projects

Yes! There are definitely tons of ways it could be used! ❤️

Hi! The Helen Stewart shawl has a lot of work into it. Can you finish it and gift it to someone? Or hold onto it and see how you feel about it then. Sometimes I make things and don't like them until I have worn them a few times

Yes, I definitely need to keep it as is and ponder for a while longer

I completely understand why you're going to unknit the Moonstruck shawl that's at the early stage. Unknit yarn is pure potential. Once it's attached to a project (and one that could sit there for ages) you've got the mental clutter of something you need to finish instead of the freedom of unattached yarn, just waiting for the right project. If you opt to make this shawl again, then a few hours of reknitting is totally worth it. But, hey, in 2 years, you might opt to make it again with totally new yarn you don't even know exists right now 🙂 Also, I'd rip back that Helen Stewart one. You're not into it, you don't remember how much effort went into it. I agree that the one contrast colour is not a contrast (which is underwhelming). And you can imagine the main yarn in a diff project. The other alternative, IMO, would be to finish it and give it to someone. If you're not going to love reaching into your closet for the piece, what's the point?

Yes to all of this, Kristin! Thank you for the validation ❤️

My Half/half Wrap is for car-knitting....sometimes I think I should bring it in the house and knit a bit to get it done quicker, but then I remind myself that there is no rush for it. It will be a wip for a long time, but that's ok. For the Helen Stewart....if it wasn't here tomorrow would you miss it?...if not, then frog it. (Although I do like other people's idea of gifting it 🤔)

Exactly, what’s the rush?! I have a lot to think about with the Helen Stewart shawl 🙃

If I were you, I would finish up the Surprise party and give it to someone who might enjoy it. Otherwise, I would give it to someone who would finish it and use it. Frogging looks more of work to me😏😂

You are so right! It would take so long to frog…

I think I would finish it up (possibly earlier than the pattern intended) and either keep it, donate it, or gift it. Honestly, I would look at my stash and all the nice yarns I still have to work with and wouldn't be super interested in reclaiming the yarn from a previous project.. just frogging, and getting the kinks out to use it again would be too much, I think.

Please finish the Surprise Party Shawl because it is almost done! You could give it as an Xmas gift! Just choose someone with warm skin tones that it would look best on .Including yourself btw.I made 2 of the kits. The peachy one I donated to a fundraiser at work and the other I wear myself. It is big enough to wear in different ways.

Those that you aren't going to finish, why not print the pattern out and mark where you stopped on the pattern, bag it up with the yarn needed to finish it and donate it to Goodwill or someone who would love to finish it and wear it.

What a lovely idea! I’ll have to consider it for some of these projects
