Thank you, Chris! Funny with the new ones. They are slow builders but tend to outlast the classic ship videos in viewership. Still learning the ropes here. :)
Thanks, Gracey! She's a new ship, so my classic ship audience isn't keen about her but modern cruisers will hopefully enjoy the tour. She's actually a very nice ship to sail in.
@@graceygal2664 As the great John Maxtone-Graham used to say, the ship's exterior only matters to people who are not on board at the time. Or something like that. I do miss the aesthetics of the classic ships but you are correct in that these new ships have much more to offer the typical cruise guest. :)
We've always liked the value of a balcony cabin. But Princess no longer includes a sofa in their standard balcony cabin. You have to upgrade to deluxe balcony to get a loveseat, or a mini suite to get a real sofa. For that cost, plus the add-ons (beverage package, wifi package, specialty dining, sanctuary, gratuities, etc), the price is basically the same as a luxury cruise line cabin, which includes those things and more.
I will be on the Enchanted for a 14 day Repositioning Cruise next month. My last 8 cruises have been on Celebrity. The Enchanted looks like a beautiful ship. I will miss not having a covered atrium on the transatlantic part of the crossing. Thank you for posting.
Great video ! Best overall introduction of this wonderful ship. I also have had a question: my family are interested to play ping pong on board, do you see any ping pong table on the ship ? how many of them ? are tables placed indoor or outdoor ? will greatly appreciated for your reply. Thanks
Thank you, Tsung! Alas, I did not see if she had ping pong but if she did, I'm pretty sure it would have been in the Games Court by the pickle ball and basketball court.
This is the ship you take when you've already been to all of the ports on the itinerary. The ship is the destination. But with 3,600 passengers, I hope it doesn't feel crowded. Every opportunity to get my 10,000 steps each day. Great video. Would have been better in HD.
I've always been afraid of taking a mega-ship like this -- mainly due to perceived lack of full sun exposure open lounger decks. At normal full occupancy would this ship have sufficient full sun deck loungers? I note that the Sanctuary up front seems to have only covered decks.
At full capacity, there is a bit of a struggle for space on the decks, especially in great weather. But I don't think these ships are any worse than most of their size range and they are certainly better than some.
. We were on the carribbean princess pre covid with a full ship and it never felt crowded especially on the top decks since there are so many levels and walls breaking it up into smaller decks.
@@bstanz5266 And Princess is usually great with scheduling events in different parts of the ship to keep certain areas from overcrowding. Thanks for posting. :)
What I wouldn't give to have Princess make exact replica newbuilds of the original Island/Pacific Princess! The new ships of the mass market cruise lines are too much, too big IMHO. Some features are blatantly poor design, i.e., the Vista Lounge. With the stage being aft of the room it's a lost opportunity to have a wake view through floor to ceiling windows. There's really no vista in the Vista Lounge. The Retreat Pool being surrounded by cabins on both sides, eliminating any view looking out to sea. My last six cruises have been on Viking Ocean. That's a nearly flawless ship design & total cruise experience.
Thanks so much for posting. I actually share you views on the lack of views, especially forward facing ones on these ships. The Viking ships are beautiful examples of modern cruise ship design.
Ship? More like a laying down skyscraper. Looking real ugly to an old mariner whos been sailing on the seven seas for 50 years. Guess this thing is good anough for flat sea and holyday leishure.
Listen, I'd kill to sail in the 1954-built SS ARCADIA right now but since that is not possible, I try to make the most of the new ships. This one is thankfully without waterparks, race cars and other crazy distractions. :)
Fascinating tour. Thanks for sharing.

So thorough, with no chit chat! Love it! Thanks!
Thank you. LOL, yes, I try to cut to the chase. :)
Thanks for the tour Sir ! We are going on this beautiful ship on sept.2 to sept. 24 / 22 . Can’t wait 😛.
Thanks so much for watching it. Hope it helped give you an idea of what EP is all about. Have a fantastic cruise. :)
The best info ever!!!!
Thank you, Rex! Glad you enjoyed! :)
Awesome Peter!
Thank you, Matt. Glad you enjoyed it. :)
An excellent review of the ship, the best I have seen, Great outling each deck with the map.✔
Thanks so much, Mike. I appreciate your post. :)
That was excellent Peter. She's really a huge ship. Very beautiful, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Thanks so much, Deborah! Glad you enjoyed it and yes, huge and actually quite nice inside. :)
The decor is beautiful
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Great video!!! Thank you
Thanks so much. Appreciate your watching and posting.
This was amazing! Thanks for posting.
Thank you, Dan! :)
People can call her ugly all they want but she has a certain charm

@@midshipcinema the thing with modern ships is they may be ugly outdoors but inside there spectacular

Thank you ! Coming from Cleveland Ohio! We were supposed to be her New Year’s Eve 2021, but no go 😟
Thanks so much, Susan. Hope you can get on her soon. :)

Fantastic review. Please do one from the Discovery Princess.

You have such a soothing voice
Thank you! :)
Sure looks nicer than Majestic we were on in February! Had aft balcony though.
I think she has some nicer, more vibrant color schemes than MAJESTIC, which I was on in August.
Btw , liked and subscribed. Cheers from Toronto.
Wonderful, thank you! Cheers to you and all in beautiful Toronto! :)
