Court hears IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu’s bail application, preliminary objection to trial.
Upon resumed hearing of the matter, Adegboyega Awomolo, who appeared for the federal government, told Justice Binta Nyako that the case was coming up for hearing after the decision of the Supreme Court on December 15, 2023. Mr Awomolo said the apex court affirmed Ms Nyako’s decision of April 8, 2022, by affirming the preservation of counts one, two, three, four, five, eight and 15 of the charge of which Mr Kanu pleaded not guilty.
