The square base is sturdy and comfortable, especially when cooking at ground level while backpacking. The seat base is 4.5” off of the ground, the total height assembled is 19.7,” and the packed weight is 23oz.
It is made of high-tech aluminum alloy and high-strength reinforced nylon hubs. The Ground Chair can support up to 265 lbs. It is not the lightest chair for backpacking (Helinox Chair Zero weighs 18oz), but I prefer to cook at ground level while backpacking.
The Helinox Ground Chair is covered by a 5yr warranty, and at $129, it’s not the least expensive chair, but I like to buy quality the first time! I’ve had this chair for a few years and I expect it to last for many more years to come.

I got one a few months ago and I was kind of disappointed because it doesn't seem deep enough to sit uncomfortably. I'm not a very big guy either. I'm hoping it'll stretch more over time.

I haven’t noticed that the chair stretches but I hope in your case it does. Chairs can be a bit like pillow preference and it’s not easy to please everyone.

Would have been nice to see it in a small tent to try to judge height of seated occupant vs tent ceiling.
