commotion I experienced a problem where 3D objects became transparent when the file was opened, or when extruding

Thank you so much, Tyler! I was going crazy with this problem, I couldn't find the issue solved anywhere else... and then I found your video.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've got exactly this problem on several sketches and had given up on ever getting the darn things fully defined.

Hey Tyler, what an invaluable tip. I've had this many times and it's been bugging me for so long. Finally I know the answer, and it's pretty obvious in hindsight. Thank you so much.

Awesome, I'm learning Fusion 360 now and had a few sketches that just wouldn't earn that padlock... this was the case in all of them! Thanks.

Exact same thing happened to me.

If F360 knows that your sketch is not fully defined by not having the lock symbol present, it would be great if there was a function you could select to show the un constrained items (by highlighting them) in the sketch. Then you could chose to deal with them or not :) I am assuming from the comments this function does not exist?

Hey Rod, Solidworks and Inventor both have this functionality.... sounds like the Fusion team needs to hear the request.

I run into this way too often. Your method doesn't really help me though, when I have a complex sketch with hundreds of sketch point.
The best approach I've come up with yet is to change a random dimension to a huge value and see what sketch point doesn't seem to move in an expected way. Much faster than brute forcing it out.

I know you are trying to push best practices but sometimes I find that it is just not worth it to futz around forever. That lock icon is great at times but every RUclips poster pretends it does not exist.

Hey Mark - It was a question from the channel that was bugging a user. Totally agree sometimes you gotta keep moving stop fussing.
