I've been going to q catholic school since pre school. The thing is I'm gay, and I've seen so many messed up things happen in school. The Catholic religion claims to love everyone but they continue to hate and want to murder gay and trans people even though the only passage in the bible homosexuality was misunderstood and mis translated and was actually abt rape. I've heard my teachers say that the religion is so supportive because they support those of different race and sure they're kinda getting better. They just use religion as a way to control people, especially women, those of African descent, and people in the LGBTQ community. This did push me away from faith for years and I'm still having trouble believing in stuff after literally being threatened to burn in hell after I decided I wanted to kiss any gender and to change my own gender.

I am so sorry people have treated you that way, Ik that God loves you, the people who act like that are only Christians for show. Christian’s love everyone and their differences and the Christian’s who don’t need more Jesus in their life. I really hope you are able to get a better relationship with God❤️❤️

Im Christian and where i may not agree with homosexuality i have a lot of LGBT friends, we all have free choice and so i hate so called "Pastors like this because they are not true Chrustians they are abusers. We are called to love everyone and pastors like this do the exact OPPOSITE of what Jesus teached. Im sorry for anyone who had a pastor do this to them, this is not how a church should be ran.
When he said “the gays couldn’t be Cristian too” line, he was referring to his pastor “a man of god” being gay, since the pastor was trying to do questionable stuff to him
