    With in how much you got fingers straight

    • @efrenfiao-ag1003
      @efrenfiao-ag1003  3 года назад

      If the practice of straithening the fingers is done on a daily basis, specially during the first months, the fingers will adapt to the position of keeping themselves open and be useful. For them to maintain openness, keep following up on the exercise. Don't give it a timetable since those fingers are not like normal fingers that retain their elasticity and flexibility after a few stretches. Fingers affected by stroke EASILY revert back to stiffness when neglected even for a week.

  • @shilpapatel2208
    @shilpapatel2208 3 года назад +1

    How much time it took to straighten you fingers

    • @efrenfiao-ag1003
      @efrenfiao-ag1003  3 года назад

      It took me about the allotted six months to come up to an acceptable flexibility and straightness but it is a continuous practice because when I stop moving it for a week, they curl. It takes time for them to retain a certain straightness of normality. Because they are not normal now due to the occurrence of spasticity when we are tense or stressed.

    Sir my father even can't move Whole hand fingers Closed The elbow Same what should we do sir?

    • @efrenfiao-ag1003
      @efrenfiao-ag1003  3 года назад

      MOVEMENT IS THE CURE. Follow the exercises shown on this video. See my other videos on finger drills. Apply them, too. For the unmoving arm, massage the arm by pressing, rubbing, rolling the muscles. See my massage video on this. Give special rub on the elbow joint to loosen it before you bend and straighten it slowly. Do this at least 2 times a day.. This is your part.. On your father's part, remind him to move his fingers and arm because HE FORGOT He had another arm. I can guess he is over using his normal hand now.

      Relaxing the hand starts at the shoulder. Efren has great recommendations that worked for him! I had multiple strokes at 15 years old in 1998. I still have very limited function in my hand. I've tried everything. I'm still optimistic. Elon Musk is trying to help people with neurological injuries regain movement.
