The best Für Elise I have ever heard ❤️️ You played so beautifully, I liked very much!
Brooklyn Classical hey, can you please play k.545 it would sound so beautiful when you play please play that song k.545 by Mozart.
Unreal performance. Absolutely stunning. Beethoven was a genius.
This is as good as it can ever be done. Beethoven is smiling as this performance is sent across the universe.
Absolutely beautiful! Wonderful hand form!
The reverb of this particular grand is amazing
Love the Way.. She's Involved In The Music ❤💫😊
I loved the melody so much that I learned to play it and the bass to upload to my RUclips channel.
Beautiful! Simply beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful
Perhaps the most elemental part of my learning as a young "Pianist", Fur Elise enables all those who choose the 88 keys to understand ourselves... vrai?
Well said!
WHOA! I played this ENTIRE SONG at my piano recital in 1986! I was 13 years old. I practiced it REPEATEDLY until it was PERFECT! My piano teacher was NO JOKE! LOL!
@ZeTa Good for you. I am 11 and currently learning this piece. Any advice?
Marnie is a perfect pianist. Her interpretation of these piano greats is amazing and wonderful. Bye her album if this excites you. I play it in my car all the time.

Exquisite.
Now this is how the song is done.
The song is about Emotion and that emotion= IS LOVE.
Too many play key parts too fast and in doing so, bypass the love Beethoven had.
Hay obras que transmiten la vida de quien las creo, esta es una cada.parte habla de la.vida de ludwin
This is better than the original

Did she really need that sheet? Looks like she knows the song by heart
Όταν η μουσική ξετυλιγει τα φύλλα της ψυχής..
I think I heard one spot where you put in an extra deedle, and another where you used fewer. You gotta put some of yourself in these things!

What?
@@jeffreykaufmann2867 The main theme of the song, that is the very first two notes of the song that repeats itself throughout the piece.
Really? You are a piano expect? "You gotta put some of yourself in these things"??? You gotta pull your head out of you-know-what.
is this on itune?
Absolutely beautiful
Some play this piece too fast, others too slow, but this was perfect. Your hands caressed the keys, and made love to the piano..you were in a magic zone, and took us along. Thank you. You are gifted.
I would agree wholeheartedly. It is just the right speed, played with expression and grace.
Same

OH MAN I Am SuCh A nOoB At ThIs
Yes very true..
My big sister used to play this when I was a little kid. She'd practice it so often that I really got sick if it. But now 50 years later, I remember her playing and she really was quite good. Hearing the same song over and over was so annoying at the time. I should not have been mad at her for perfecting her playing. I was most likely jealous because I could not play due to coordination problems of my left hand.
Fast forward to my 61st birthday. A wonderful friend I had met at chemo the day before my husband died in Hospice over 5 years ago, wanted to do something nice for my birthday. I asked Nancy to play me a song on her keyboard for me. She practiced a lot, but then her health took a run for the worst. She was put in Hospice nearly 4 years after we met. She had Kidney Disease and refused to have Dialysis. She never got to play the song for me.
Instead, I brought it up on my phone while she was on her deathbed. Her daughter needed a break. So I sat with her playing hymns and Beethoven. I think she had chosen Für Elise, because my name is Elisabeth. After awhile, I asked God to not let her linger anymore. She wanted to join her husband that had been gone for 4.5 years. I asked for a quick demise.
Our dinner was over about 40 minutes later. I went back to check on her and she was gone. Whether she would have died anyway without my plea, is anyone's guess. I read her eulogy at her memorial service too. So this song is very special for those two reasons.
anything good will be torture if you hear it 20,000 times. I would throw up if I ate the best tasting cake every single day. It's not jealousy of your big sister. Fur Elise can be used to torture prisoners in solitary confinement if played on loop. Why don't you only keep 1 of your favourite song on your iPod and play it on loop? See how long it takes before you turn into a mental patient. Fur Elise is honestly a cliche at this point. And my English professor hated cliches in essays. I think it also applies to music. Music should have variety.
I took Piano Keyboard in high school (It was a horrible class, the teacher didn't teach, and half the keyboards didn't work at all, surprised anyone learned anything) anyways there was this one boy in the class that had a keyboard at home. He worked on this song and memorized the first minute of it. His class keyboard was one of the rare ones that actually worked and he'd turn it up enough that it could be heard by the rest of the class. He started and EVERYONE paused in their work to listen to him. He played that first minute of the song like it was it's own song and it was like a heart wrenching lullaby. That little fragment of this song was honestly the most beautiful thing I've ever heard played on piano (even though his skill was probably FAR below yours and others).
At a couple points, THIS almost sounded like that. Thank you for bringing back that memory. 8)
OMG 😱 I love it....your fingers move like butter on the piano.
Butter on the piano??! 😂 (but ya. Its true)sche play't so well!

Love your interpretation & execution - thanks for taking the time to produce this excellent piece.
Absolute PERFECTION!!!
Classical music is one of the greatest wonders ever invented by man. This is best version of Fur Elise I've ever heard. Beethoven was a genius ...
Absolutely beautiful! I like that I can hear and feel the emotion when you play. I think that’s really important when you play piano.
I'm putting this in my heavy metal playlist
Just brilliant! Played from the bottom of the soul adding to the melody and class ❤❤❤❤
She plays with feeling and a strong sense of craftsmanship...Bravo!
This performance took me away for WAY TOO SHORT a reverie. Left me wanting so much more. So I’ll click ‘refresh’, and thank you, Marnie, with all my soul
❤️
This is beautiful, it's a magical piece of art, it's romantic and yet so tragic at the same time. This is like that moment when you look at your lover's eyes and you get lost in the melody of her beautiful smile, she teases you and you get bewitched by her beauty. You want her but fail to make her your soulmate, it's a tragical romance. Will your love be ever remembered by those after you die? Probably Beethoven also had a tragical love life.
Rez Gazi That’s quite an interesting interpretation and not necessarily where my mind leads me, but I think it lends credence to the idea that music as an art form evokes different ideas and emotions in every listener. It is a somber, yet beautiful tune.
His wikipedia article claims that this piece was written for Therese Malfatti, the niece of Beethoven's doctor. She is one of a few women Beethoven wooed during his life but he never married. Therese was only 19 when Beethoven (40) proposed to her and she turned him down.
wow..
lol there's just me not being a poet 😂
you are a poet friend, I think that is what that melody makes me feel
I could listen to this all day all night and never get bored. Beautiful music, beautifully performed. Thank you.
I like that you are so good at playing the piano 😍

¡Es hermosa!.... (supe tocarla de niña)...me trae incontables recuerdos!!!!! ¡¡¡Gracias por esta magnifica interpretación que escucho a menudo ¡¡Gracias!!!!
Thank you for sharing your talent with those of us that share the music that you and your husband make. I especially like both watching and listening to the pieces you performed, letting us watch your hands work the keys. If you are looking for a new piece to do that with may I suggest something by Scott Joplin. M. Patrick Mabry Age= 75
I love your beautiful graceful style! ❤️ Some other pianists play it too fast when its supposed to be primarily Poco Moto. Bravo 🌹
I Keep Listening 🎶and Watching This video 📹😭Over And over again and again and again I Suffer from Anxiety and Depression. It Helps me Get Through the day and Night 🌙😴😪🙏
I watch and listening pretty much every night.......... Helps me sleep
God bless you 💫
It helps me thru my 3.5 hrs of dialysis. I kept listening to it over and over again and it keeps me relax. Loved it.

This song is for you then🤭🙏🙏
cool
Marnie, every true pianist adds their own special touch every now and again. I've played for almost 33 years, and really enjoyed you playing this piece. Some really do speed it up too much, but you did perfect.
Hay quá chị ơi! Nghe thật sâu lắng.
You played this performance perfectly!! Not too fast or slow, I can feel your passion!
Great performance, lovely tone with contrasting dynamics. Also really like the camera work here which reinforces the performance.
Indeed the camera work is so much nicer than all the others. Giving that 360 degree view helps the audience get a wonderful sense of participation.
2:30 can i call this one "surfing" ?
Perfect rhythm and soul touching 👍👍
This is the best version of Fur Elise I've ever heard! She's a piano Goddess 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️
Well Georgii Charkin's version is majestic and epic
@@shishir.sachar4648 Georgii Cherkin's ORCHESTRA version is yes, majestic and epic. I actually heard that before this one and I was totally impressed. But for piano SOLO performance, I'd choose this one from Marnie Laird and that of Lang Lang's over Georgii's piano solo performance of Fur Elise. I won't compare this one by Marnie (piano only) to the orchestral arrangement by Cherkin though. ORCHESTRA ≠ piano solo.
@@leahlecerio3218 👍
Well Marnie's version is good, but so far Lang Lang's is the best I have listened to so far.
I studied piano for 5 years and learned classical music. This remains a favourite.
May God Bless you for the wonderful memories that you gave by playing this beauty. so gracefully.
Congratulations your performance is very good I like to listen beethoven, Vivaldi, Rafael boléro, Verdi, Mozart, yohane schtrause, the best of the best in classical music greeting from Algeria.
GYÖNYÖRŰ-SZÉP! 😂❤❤❤
When I listen to someone play fur Elise I think of Beauty what's around us and love and lovely Coasts pacific and Atlantic coasts, lovely forests trees and mountains and just beeing relaxed and finding true love in a person for a lovely lady female for a girlfriend lover. And the Beauty what god gave us to live on the this planet earth. God Bless. and our lovely pets of dogs and horses. Fur ELISE is about Beethoven's Wife.

Love Fur Elise, remember my daughters playing that lot.
Esta pandemia del virus......ha afectado mucho a los artistas......ya no hay conciertos, exposiciones de pintura.....ni teatro... Esperemos que vuelvan los viejos.....buenos tiempos en que el Arte era una parte importante de nuestra vida.
I think it was beautiful, I've listened to many versions but I think yours is the best, at least I feel the best listening to it.
Fur Elise by Ludwig Beethoven is a Beautiful, piece of repertoire, I have been working really hard on this piece of music for quite awhile still improving, I am a musician and I play Guitar and Piano. Marnie your a talented pianist musician. Good luck with your professional career in music.

The best technique is bereft without emotion-your playing is suffused with emotion, it floats along the melody, the hills and the valleys, lovely. I feel like I have a connection to your inner life when I hear you play. Remarkable.
I LOVE IT !!!! Perfect way to start my today. Keep up the great work. Love your videos.
Such a beautiful piece and you play it so well. A pleasure to listen to. Thanks for posting. :)
Beautiful dynamics.... Superb so pleasing to the ear fantastic... Great stressbuster
I have never heard fur else played as perfect as her before, her timing is perfect.. I went to the Royal Northen College of Music for a year.. so I know a little
Your both videos- Yiruma, River Flows In You and this one- seem like love confessions. They are so beautiful and enchanting.
Amazing as usual Marnie. Your playing has so much emotions, so much dynamics. Each note speaks for itself. Keep these renditions coming. Much love from India.
Parabéns 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Sucesso total !
Sensacional !
This is how it was meant to be played, I guess ^^ Elise would be very happy 😃
all praise to God ... this is beautiful
