“Do you see what I see?” - sharing a piece of some songwriting again!

- I put this video in my stories on Instagram and Facebook Saturday night. It was edited down to fit the allotted time. It is literally an extremely rough recording of a new idea. It’s not finished and I just sang the melodies I had in my head and some multiple vocal tracks to hear how it sounded. Then I listened back with my phone on video record and that is what you see and hear. As raw as it can get. Mistakes and all!
The song is called “Do you see what I see”.
It’s basically about lying and brainwashing. Something we have all seen in our lifetimes. We certainly seem to see a lot of it these days.
The lyrics and melodies I wrote. The music was inspired by a riff from the Doctor Butcher song “The Altar”. The riff in that song had no singing over it. It was a small bit between the verse and the pre chorus. That riff in particular I had hear Jon Oliva play on the tour bus on the Gutter Ballet Tour. I loved it so much that I inserted it into that song . It was the one piece of music that wasn’t mine in the Butcher song. I borrowed a bit of that piece to write the main riff! 😈
Here’s the scratch lyrics I wrote and used for this rough recording. I didn’t warm up to sing it. Just say in a my studio chair and scratched out the ideas to listen back to.

You may have seen what they all have seen

You can insert whoever you want to this entire concept. If you hear lies enough…many times they become the truth. If you say them enough…many times you believe them yourself…
FYI…no matter how many times someone would tell me 1+1=3….I would not believe them!

Chris's voice sounds great. To me his voice is a bit of a cross between The Mountain King himself Jon Oliva and the Legendary Mike Howe of Metal Church (RIP).

Hello Mr. Caffery, thank you for your videos and I want to build a Criss Oliva Gargoyle replica as an amateur luthier to hang it on my wall.
Could you please give me some specs of this beautiful guitar? I would be very happy to build a replica as similar as possible.
For example, I don't know if the original guitar has a Esp asymmetrical neck plate or the default plate. And I don't have a correct information for pickups on the guitar as well.
And to replicate the body color as well, did they remove the painting from the original esp body or painted the graphics on top of the original body color?
