Yes, it can be played more slowly, but at the time of the recording I felt this tempo. :)

Good playing while the guiar is recorded with a strange result - doll bass without depth, trebleslike glass and metal, too harsh.

There is no need to waste lots of money to record a good guitar having rich sound and if you make good sound in your fingers. So i dont know where is the reason in this case- it may be in sound of your guitar in its natural, not in the microphone and recorder.
