It's a gas explosion. A slow gas leak will build up and mix with oxygen. At the right ratio it's very explosive in a closed environment. You try to light the stove or even a static shock and boom.
The lack of fire might be because of the firehouse being so close. My guess is some kind of combustion, like a power generator or hydrogen fuel cell. Too soon and unfair to assume a bomb. Very curious. Especially since my parents live two hours from there.
@@bigfatmeanni a gas explosion doesn't necessarily create a fire. With how powerful the shockwave was any flame at the source of the leak would be blown out.

Really sad that this happened. 😢
This is so heartbreaking . I am learning every day that life is so fragile and the only solution is living a life of prayer. May God protect us all . My condolences for those who loss their loved one.
Eh no, even if you pray you die wtf is wrong with religious people
My condolences to those who lives were lost and to their families 💞🙏
Kind of interesting that it was being filmed just as it exploded. Tell us, Danny, why were you filming that house?
😢 This was sad to see. What caused the explosion though? For it to have happened and cause this much damaged…..
RIP to all the people who lost their lives. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I think meth lab, but ill put money on gas leak
Meth boom
Had a case just like this locally. It was a gas leak from a fireplace in that case. Did the exact same damage to neighboring homes. Id bet $$$ it was a gas leak. I hate gas. So dangerous 😖
Sounds like this might have been intentional. A murder-suicide is likely.
Either a large pressure combustion or some kind of gas leak
I’ve seen footage of several house explosions before but have to say that was one of the bigger and more clear footage.
R.I.P to those all lost
RIP to the people who lost their lives to this tragedy. Though what Inside Edition failed to report is "What caused the explosion in the first place"? That's what I wanna know.
Exaclty what I’m looking for. They left that out for a reason. Makes no sense
Wanted to know too. Weird coverage
I wonder what the person who sent it had to say? No video credit here....
RIP to the 3 people killed by the explosion. 😔
So incredibly heartbreaking..here one day..gone the next..RIP to those who lost their life..sending condolences to their families and friends🙏🙏💚
My condolences to the people who lost their lives and their families, rest in peace. What made that kind of explosion though, is it gas? There doesn't seem any fire spreading.
Meth cook gone wrong
Gas leak. Had a case just like this locally. There was no fire damage to the house. Just completely exploded like this one and damaged neighboring homes as well. It was a leak from a gas fireplace in the local case & this one looks strikingly similar.
God bless all of the town and the ones family's who lost their loved ones. May everyone one come together and go out of their ways to help one another in this time of need. 🙏🙏
that sucks but how the hell did the house even explode
That's really sad... I wonder what caused the explosion.
me too
In this day and age I wouldn't be surprised if it was a terriost attack.
it looked like there was a tornado at the left of the camera, maybe its a tornado
Gas boiler maybe?
How has nobody guessed meth lab yet?
Sad. My deepest condolences to everyone.
I live in Indianapolis and a similar situation happened in Greenwood, IN. The cause for that was a meth lab inside the house. Not saying it was the same in this case but there’s a lot of meth addicts in Indiana. If it was a gas leak wouldn’t you be able to smell it?
I agree 😂
Cookin up meth, blows self up
Gets tons of online sympathy for blowing up neighborhood
Classic internet
@@Alotofnades Patience grasshoppers. The people with common sense have things to do in real life. But they'll come pouring in shortly with a collective declaration... "METH!" 😂
Is it just me or how did the first camera person just happen to get the perfect footage just far enough not to get hurt
@@star1482-n5q I was wondering the same thing

I would probably ask the guy who was filming the house from a safe distance for absolutely no reason at the exact moment it blew up, but what do I know.

This happened in Flint Last year . A child lost her life and Families have been Heartbroken. Still Noone is taking Responsibility for the Explosion in Flint Mich.
Condolences to all the family members x
Deepest condolences to the family 😔 may those people rest in piece ❤️
This is unbelievable! What on earth could have caused this explosion?! Rest In Peace to those deceased 🙏😥
Cooking meth perhaps
Maybe gas leak or something faulty
Maybe they were cooking meth
They were cooking Meth.
Faulty pressure release valve on hot water heater could have caused it.
No one is talking about how they gave no reasoning onto why the house exploded

Oh my gosh this is crazy, so sorry for the ones who lost their lives🥺 but how in the world does a house just explode?!
Gas leak and/or meth lab will do it.
gas leak is my guess
Direct engery weapon
@@havsumora nope husband was messing around with a bomb
My only question is, how the hell did the houses explode!?
Strangely, someone seems to have been filming the area just before the blast or was the ground in earthquake mode seconds before it happened?
I believe it's someone recording the cctv camera footage with a phone or something, so that's why it looks like someone is recording the explosion directly
That’s the CCTV footage
Prayers and condolences to all the victims 🙏
Sad that lives were lost. Also what caused the explosion?
Gas leak i think
Yes Nick...I have the Same Question.
Theories:
-gas leak
-ruptured water heater or gas line
-(highly unlikely) a bomb
-methane gas

I’m shocked people aren’t talking about What causes the explosion?
That explosion was so massive and I totally agree that people must have felt the shaking miles away from the explosion. I hope that the homes can be repaired.
What was the cause??
It caused an earthquake like feeling across the entire city and some felt it the neighboring cities, including in KY.
