I heard the album, boy with Arab strap quirky cool so many cool Scottish artists
Probably the best pop tune of all time. Absolute perfection. I will never get tired of this song.
Not the biggest B&S fan but this whole album is just amazing throughout and one of the best of the early 2000s. The lyrics are top notch as are the melodies on every single song.

The thing with Stuart is his play with words and amazing imagination. He's a good poet.

His wording,sweetheart.
My guess would be that this has something to do with Stuart's chronic health condition and how this possibly got in the way of him getting health insurance in the States? His wife is American and around the time this album came out he spent a lot of time in the US (San Francisco is mentioned in Piazza, New York Catcher' on DCW). My guess, but he has been very open about his health, Nobody's Empire is about his struggle with it.

Personally i'd say 'If You're Feeling Sinister' is my favourite B&S album.. The Life Pursuit is a great album though... So is Dear Catastrophe Waitress.. Push Barman to Open Old Wounds is pretty epic also... it's all good...
