Just a FYI I took Reese back to my friend who had been begging to get him back, as she changed her mind about giving him up. He is now back on the farm with 3 goats 4 sheep's and his sister and aunt he is having a great time running around playing in his home.
Temu is not a reputable company. Everyone may want to look into where they get their products from. Think about it, everything is so cheap along with free shipping. Let's all do our part and truly start researching not just the company but who they do business with.
I don’t know about reputable. I have ordered a couple of times but the fact that all items are from China, I think we support them way too much as it is.
Temu's moto "Shopping like a billionaire" taps into the belief that buying things will make us feel better, which ultimately fails, and the things they entice us to buy are generally poorly made, unnecessary, and end up in landfills. Let's please rethink how and what we purchase and make positive choices for us, our family, and our planet.

I think Reece is the winner here. He needs so much more than you could ever give him. Totally wise decision for him. You're not the first person to make a snap decision regarding a pet. Reece is young enough and with the correct rehoming situation he'll thrive. Be well! Judy

Stress works both ways with your dogs, not just Stella. Reese was a puppy with puppy energy. He was stressed too because he needed play time, and Stella would not play with him. That could be why he was peeing as well.
plus he is a working dog, highly intelligent , which means they need to work , be trained at their task, he is not a lap dog, etc...hard decision but best all around...completely agree with you

Thanks, Jeffery! And if you see webbing on that pretty croton plant, it's mealy bugs! To speak my piece: Jeffery had to make an obviously painful decision about Reece. To emotionally blackmail him, and punish him by unsubscribing is childish and cruel. He had to put loyally, and the health and comfort of elderly Stella first if she was stressed by Reece. Yes, it's a shame, but ultimately, it's his dog and his decision. I've watched Jeffery for years now, and am a loyal subscriber and supporter. No, l don't buy. My husband and l have been in the antiques business for nearly 50 years. Not bald tires, fruit jars, and cheap socks. Antiques. Yet, we learn from Jeffery, look forward to his videos, and appreciate his hard work and honesty. He is also unfailingly kind. How about being a loyal friend to him now, instead of adding to his pain? I'm sorry about Reece, Jeffery. It's too bad it didn't work out. But behind you all the way! ❤️
I am glad for Stella’s sake that you returned Reese, he is still a puppy he will find a happy home. Stella needs to be the only one at her age. Good job!
Yes I can tell she's back to her "old" self now. she seemed depressed with Reese... which was strange because I thought an active dog would bring her spirits up but it did the opposite.
I can't make myself buy from Temu, its a China owned company that funnels all its money through the Camen Islands. Something just doesn't feel right about the company. My brother did order 3 items, and never got 1 of them and the other 2 were wrong.
I think most of us knew it wasn’t best. Reese is still young enough to move forward without any real upset. He’s back to the original home so he’ll be fine. It’s familiar. Best decision. ❤
I think you did the right thing. I know it’s really sad now, but think how happy he can be with a family or be someone else’s whole world. You and Stella are great!
You don’t have a compatible lifestyle for raising an active puppy. So glad you decided to do the right thing and let him go so that he can get the attention and care that he needs. That shows wisdom and maturity. You all will be much happier as a result!
Sometimes we have to make tough decisions but I`m sure Reece will end up with a good home. Your house is looking great, and as I`ve said before, it takes a while in a new place to figure out what you want to put where etc. You`ve been working so hard since you moved in, and you`re accomplishing a lot.
I would like to apologize to you. My intention was not to hurt your feelings. You did what is best for you and for Stella. You knew that Reese would be safe and went back to a loving environment. I have 3 rescues and I often lead with my heart for the animal. Again, I do apologize and I wish you and Stella the best.
You did absolutely the right thing by returning Reese. Stella can breath easy now without having a puppy dancing around her all the time. I'm sure it was a hard decision but you made a very mature decision. Hugs to you and Stella P.S. get that wonderful painting of Stella framed. I smile every time I see it.
It’s very hard to decide to regime a pet. I’ve struggled with that too. First I’d say that an Aussie is a working breed. He really needs to live where he can run and nip at the heels of others animals. Our Aussie tried to herd our grandchildren. We stuck it out and made sure he got more exercise. But I know poor potato must have had a hard time. He’s a great puppy and will be placed with no problem.
I had a feeling the puppy would be to much for Stella. He is so cute. I’m sure in no time he will have a forever home. How funny, I have that same paper towel holder. 😮
So sad about the puppy. I do hope he will be happy wherever he goes and can run and play to his heart’s content. I know you have been through a lot yourself the last year, Jeffrey. I wish you the best and may God bless you.
You did the right thing with Reese, as you know. We did the same thing one time and ended up keeping the dog for over 4 months, making my little old lady dog a nervous wreck. The puppy found a great home and things were much better. You gotta do what is best. I love seeing all your adventures!
Jeffrey, I think you made the right decision about Reese. Better now than having had him over a longer period of time. He will find a home. You have to do what's right for you too. And don't let some of the comments get to you. People can be very judgmental, self righteous, and cruel when it comes to things they may disagree with about pets. I am a pet lover with 3 rescues: a very senior dog and 2 cats.
Wow Jeffrey, not sure how to feel about this. One of the things that makes you so likable is how much you adore Stella & she adores you; now... I strongly believe adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment that should not be made rashly. Otoh, sometimes a pet is not a good fit & its kinder to them to let them go to a family where they are a better fit. Your reasoning is sound but comes across as heartless, like you had no emotional attachment to Reese. I think thats why folks are upset with you. Anyway, I can't like this video but I do think getting Reese was an impulsive decision & a wrong one that you remedied quickly & its better he go to a better home than stay with someone who doesn't have the time for him. In fact, Ive had several pets that Ive taken in when other people decided they just weren't for them & they were perfect for me.
Jeffrey, call a carpet cleaning company. They will come and pick up your rugs and clean them, return them to you. Make sure you tell them you had a puppy, they'll treat for that.
You did the absolute right thing for Reese and Stella. I could tell you were detached from him and I’m sure he and Stella picked up on that. It’s wonderful to hear that he’s back home on the farm with all the animals, living his best life❤️ I know you were hoping to give Stella a little friend and maybe perk her up. You had good intentions❤️
I am kind of surprised at the comments about Reece. When you make a decision to take in a dog you are committing to them for their life. I adopted a Bichon named Willy. He was a very pyscotic dog. Lots of mental problems. But I had him for 14 years and while I wanted to pull my hair out at times, he was so in love with me. When he passed, my life got easier but I felt a HUGE loss. I still miss him.
You made a wise and hard decision about Reese, only you know what is best. It’s not easy making those decisions but in the end you and your girl Stella will be happier. Nice plants great addition to your home and it is looking fabulous!
So sad about Reese but it is totally understandable. The puppy stage actually lasts about 2 years. I have had puppies that dug holes into my couch, to pull out the stuffing, took laundry out of the hamper and drug it all through the house, chewed up my niece's prescription eye glasses, chewed right through the phone wires on the back of the house while I was on a call, chewed antique chair legs, and literally chewed so many things that his teeth were worn down to nubs. It was exhausting. I now have cats that you can put down some food, water, and litter and then take off for three days with no trouble.
Jeffrey, you did the right thing for all 3 of you. Can tell it was a hard decision for you to make, but sometimes you have to go with your gut. Reese will be fine and probably adjust just fine. Can’t believe you never put your flamingos up out of his way. Hope he didn’t brake any of them. Don’t listen to all these so called subscribers who are so judgmental. I’ve watch you for a long time and know your a kind loving person. A lot of changes for you over the last year, add a lot of stress ,but know you did not take it lightly. Maybe you lost some subscribers, but so what? Give Stella a hug from me. Lost my dog about 3 weeks ago, miss talking to her. Was a great listener😊
Why are you guys getting butt hurt about Reece? Would you rather him stay with Jeffrey and live an unfulfilled life or be with a family that has the time for him? Reece deserves a big yard, kids to run around with, etc. On top of that, Stella does not need the added stress towards the end of her beautiful life.
I've been right where you're at Jeffrey. I got so excited when I saw a puppy, I didn't think the situation out very well. That was a few years ago, now i have my little teacup chihuahua and my cat. You'd think they'd been together since birth. I won't let myself jump into that situation again, without a whole lotta thought. I think you made the right choice ❤
You did the right thing he needs a family who just starting off or someone who can give him the energy . Maybe in the future you could try again. Stella is amazing but she's a old lady who just wants to watch her stories 😂 . I love that Stella painting its so adorable
You did fine with Reese. Please don’t feel bad. We did this many many moons ago with a kitty. I felt so bad! But we both realized it was the wrong decision at the time… that was when we were lots younger and didn’t think it through! Reese will be fine…
My thought is with Temu is all their stuff made in China? If so, we need to be buying American made and get away from the China made stuff. Support American Made Products. 🥴🤭🥰
I think Stella is happy to have you back to herself. The quiet lifestyle she's used to. Now, do yourself a favor. Get rid of those rugs and start new. That male dog urine odor is there to stay. Like your videos. I'm seeing parts of Florida ive never been to. I extremely enjoyed your Italy trip as seen through your eyes. ❤
Farewell, sweet Reese. Happy trails! The little fern you got is a “parlor palm”-easy care and lovely; mine is six years old. Best wishes. Stella’s portrait looks nice near the monstera. 😉
Sorry you didn’t think the new pet thru first. Very sad to me when a pet has to be re homed even it’s best for them. I should be happy you made that decision for the pup. But, sad non the less.
I can think through a lot of things, but not how Stella will react. I gave it time to see if they bonded, and they did not. I wanted to at least try though.
You did the right thing, a very mature decision. ( Don't beat yourself up } I have heard that you can take those floor rugs to the car wash and use the high pressured wands. Good luck Irene
I am sad about Reese but I totally understand. I always feel like the first 6 months are like having a newborn baby. Stella will be happy. And so will you.
Crate training would've helped immensely with house training Reese --- but if you're just not feelin' it, there's not much else you can do. It seems you don't have the time or energy for training (I mean, he still didn't really know his name) a new dog at this point - that's ok, it's good you realized it early on.
Jeffrey, take the rugs outside and use a pressure washer to clean them. If you don’t have one, maybe mom and dad do or you can rent one. Also good to clean your siding. Then lay rug/s in the sun to dry. If you have a driveway or concrete patio that would work slick. I put mine on my garage roof. I can reach it from one side. Sorry about the dog. It was best. That type of dog requires a lot of exercise or it gets into mischief. Very intelligent, but not right for everyone. If you want a pal for Stella, adopt a small senior dog more on her level. I guarantee, however, she would prefer to be an only child. I have two of those Moroccan mosaic lamps. Both were gifts. One is a table lamp, more of a décor/accent piece than utilitarian. The light it provides is good for nothing except looking pretty. It has 3 globes. Then I have a 5 globe chandelier. They are beautiful. Chandelier is put together but I need an electrician to install.
While I pray, nothing happens to Stella, let if you decide to get another dog, try to rescue one that maybe is a couple years old that's already potty trained and get a girl. A boy to me is a lot harder to break in my experience but I said I wouldn't get another one either but I ended up getting another 1. And she is wonderful, just like Stella. She minds very well.😂❤
Making the hard decisions and putting aside your own emotions by doing what is best for Reese & Stella is true love!!! Just like when someone chooses adoption, you are making the hard choice because of love… his breed was also probably not a great choice for you… he’s a working dog and requires a lot of time and effort… so you did what is best for him out of love for him… don’t listen to the haters…
Sad but the dog is obviously better off with someone else. I’m happy for Stella because her stress with the new puppy was not good. I’m very surprised more people aren’t upset with the TEMU sponsorship. For those of you that don’t understand, this channel is a business. This is how Jeffrey makes his living. Nothing wrong with that. Subs please do your research on TEMU. Then you can decide if you want to support Jeffrey. Be happy that the puppy will be better off in the long run. He can use the money from the TEMU sponsorship to repair, replace and clean all the urine damage to his new home. Everyone here has their own free will to decide if they want to continue watching. I think he did the right thing by rehoming the puppy which wasn’t a good choice from the beginning. It takes a lot of maturity to do the right thing.
Oh I am totally upset by the Temu sponsor ship. I don't understand why all these resellers are promoting this company. When they go thrifting for resale they don't by things from China because it's mass produced crap that they can't sell for a profit but hey give me a sponsor ship and money and i will promote what ever you want🤦♀️
Monstera plants are so cool. My daughter said when her plant gets more light, the leaves develop more holes to decrease what the plant absorbs. Thanks Jeffrey! Edit: I have a runner from Ruggable and have washed it in the washing machine (stackable condo washer!) several times. When I need a new living room size it will be a good rug company to consider.
Hi Jeffery. This was a great video. I’m sorry to see Reese go but I’m sure he’s happy to be back home. You don’t need a puppy peeing all over your new home. House training a dog is a lot of work. I loved the shopping video. It’s always a pleasure to see your videos. They never disappoint. I never realized you were so close to Stella. Don’t forget to sing us a song ASAP. I’ve been watching or visiting you for years. I really like your artistry too.
Your house looks so good!!! I haven't watched you in a while because I was moving in with my dad & getting settled in.... Because of my divorce. Everything I own is in storage. But it's given me the opportunity to occasionally visit new thrift stores here. I'm totally with you on having a puppy. I love dogs. But my ex-husband got a yellow lab puppy. And he literally chased our weimaraner non-stop. Two months after we got the puppy...my Bella passed away from congestive heart failure. The vet said if we took her home, she would have a stroke, heart attack, or seizure. I had her 10 short years. That was May '22. I miss her like crazy. My dad has an adorable little white fluffy maltese. So we are besties now. You might wanna keep the receipt for the multi colored plant. I've gotten those several times, and they've never lived. Pothos is a great indoor plant. We've been propagating off of one I bought 13 years ago. Spider plants do really well.
Right decision about the dog. Hey, now ya know. I had pets all my life growing up and while raising my daughters who are married with children and have pets. I "dog sit" for them when needed. I'm retired and keep my daughter's older dog with me and he travels from her house to mine.
If you watch Victoria Stillwell, the dog trainer on the show “it’s me or the dog”, you might disagree with the “wise old vet’s” statement. It annoys me that people think that pets are a returnable thing. People need to do their homework prior to getting an animal & be willing to put the time & energy into training them. 95% of the time it’s not the animal’s issue, it’s their owner. Anyway, enough ranting. Everyone has a right to their opinion & I respect yours. I just hate to see animals bought & then returned like a shoe that doesn’t fit. It’s so stressful on the animal 😢
Jeffrey, I as a former cat owner, don't let everyone talk you into another pet once Stella is gone. I had two cats from the time they were a year old up until they both passed away 10-1/2 and 11-1/2 years old respectively. After my cats were gone, I made the decision not to get any more pets, as my life had changed from when I first had them. I was a lot older, had retired, gotten married, gained adult step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren. I didn't feel like getting another pet would have been fair to the pet, my family, or me to be quite honest. Don't feel guilty about wanting what is best for Reece, Stella, or yourself. Always do what is the best for your situation! Betty
Betty, I agree with you. I've had cats for-ev-er. I always thought when I got older after my last cat passed I would wait for awhile and then finally adopt an old one from the pound that no one wanted. But things have not turned out for me that way. First my neighbor moved to SC and her cat NaNa needed a home. Next my son moved in with some woman allergic to cats, so I got Thomas Tank (22#) I am OLD and my good intention of rescuing an older kitty is fading away. If your baby sitting situation changes consider rescuing a kitty someone had to surrender because they are moving to a nursing home. It would warm the patient's heart to know someone is taking care of a pet they had to leave behind. 😺❤
I'm sorry he didn't work out. Good for you for trying. Same thing happened to my daughter. Their wonderful old dog died though. The new puppy actually kept attacking her. He was returned and we hope he finds the right home. I say No to temu.
Not that you need another comment on this video that has probably been so stressful for you! 💜I just want you to know that puppy blues is a real thing and you had the best intentions for all three of you! You continue to do everything that’s best for you and Stella. Nothing selfish about that!!
Going to miss Reese but you did the right thing for both of you and Stella. I had a similar situation several years ago and in the long run it was better for the dog and my family. 👍
Hello, I finally figured it out baking soda and vinegar let it sit on stains and after take the Dawn power wash dish spray and scrub with brush! Works amazing
Aww I feel bad for Reese. He is so cute. I just adopted a 3 yr old shih tzu who needs a lot of training, but we are working with him. We lost our 16 yr old baby in Feb. My cat is still trying to accept it.
I think you made the right decision about Reese. Stella is probably happier. Dogs are a lot of responsibility and work. I love those lamps in that one shop, those are so cool. Take care Jeffrey 🦩 Kisses to Stella 🐕
Aww I’m sure it was a hard decision for you. But Reese will be fine and Stella can get back to living her best life. Isn’t Dunnellon fun… Lots of cool things to see. 😊

Right on Jeffrey, take care
I think you made the right decision on Reese. If you cannot devote time to him then I'm sure there is someone who can. Don't have any guilt.
I can't make myself buy from Temu, its a China owned company that funnels all its money through the Camen Islands. Something just doesn't feel right about the company. My brother did order 3 items, and never got 1 of them and the other 2 were wrong.
You are being realistic and doing what's actually best for Reece ❤❤
Great video; The plants are really right for ur home. Thanks for taking all of us along
Please re-consider your promotion of Temu.
You did the correct thing
You don’t have a compatible lifestyle for raising an active puppy. So glad you decided to do the right thing and let him go so that he can get the attention and care that he needs. That shows wisdom and maturity. You all will be much happier as a result!
Sometimes we have to make tough decisions but I`m sure Reece will end up with a good home. Your house is looking great, and as I`ve said before, it takes a while in a new place to figure out what you want to put where etc. You`ve been working so hard since you moved in, and you`re accomplishing a lot.
Wow, mighty strong feelings being expressed. Recess is young and will easily attach to a new family ❤❤❤❤❤❤
It is totally up to you to do what is BEST for you. I will continue watching all of your videos. 😊❤
You did the best thing!!
I know it was hard for you to give up Reece but you did the right thing for Stella and you. ❤
….and Reese
So sad about the puppy. I do hope he will be happy wherever he goes and can run and play to his heart’s content. I know you have been through a lot yourself the last year, Jeffrey. I wish you the best and may God bless you.
I think we all whish u the best. Please tune out the critics
I so sorry people are so judgemental. I hope you continue to share your life with us. I enjoy watching your videos.
It’s wonderful to hear that he’s back home on the farm with all the animals, living his best life❤️
I know you were hoping to give Stella a little friend and maybe perk her up. You had good intentions❤️
Jeffery u have done the best for all 3 of u
Thanks for the update Jeffrey’s mom.
Jeffrey you did the right thing for your life style. I love the indoor plants. The stores were beautiful.
Having a puppy with Stella must have been stressful for all 3 of you 😅 good he goes to a forever home.
I’ve been to Grumbles and the antique across the street. It’s. A very cute section of town.
How sad for the little Pup 😢
I think Stella is happy to have you back to herself. The quiet lifestyle she's used to. Now, do yourself a favor. Get rid of those rugs and start new. That male dog urine odor is there to stay. Like your videos. I'm seeing parts of Florida ive never been to. I extremely enjoyed your Italy trip as seen through your eyes. ❤
Yes, there's so much to see and do here in Florida! looking forward!
Including new rugs 😂❤❤
You definitely made the right decision about Reece. Not an easy decision to make, but in the long run everyone - including Reece - will be better off.
Wow, those cool, brightly colored lamps are so pretty
Farewell, sweet Reese. Happy trails! The little fern you got is a “parlor palm”-easy care and lovely; mine is six years old. Best wishes. Stella’s portrait looks nice near the monstera. 😉
Rugs must be taken up with a new puppy.
And use either washable or disposable pee pads
👍 Jeffery, love your plant decisions. That place is great, fun tea house !! 💐 💐
Big thumbs-up
I love your new plants. Did you notice that the painting of Stella has Monestera leafs on it like the one you got.
Yeah, you gotta love Temu.😄❣️
Sorry you didn’t think the new pet thru first. Very sad to me when a pet has to be re homed even it’s best for them. I should be happy you made that decision for the pup. But, sad non the less.
I can think through a lot of things, but not how Stella will react. I gave it time to see if they bonded, and they did not. I wanted to at least try though.
You wouldn’t be the first one that realized that you made a mistake. You had good intentions!!
You did the right thing, a very mature decision. ( Don't beat yourself up } I have heard that you can take those floor rugs to the car wash and use the high pressured wands. Good luck Irene
I know on many levels uwill miss the pup , so cut yourself a lot of slack ❤
I am sad about Reese but I totally understand. I always feel like the first 6 months are like having a newborn baby. Stella will be happy. And so will you.
Aww Reese was a cutie 🥺. Do what's best for you. I'm liking the vlogs. I hope you have a great week Jeffrey.
Great video today Jeffrey. Thanx for taking us along.Lotsa neat things from temu.💕
Crate training would've helped immensely with house training Reese --- but if you're just not feelin' it, there's not much else you can do. It seems you don't have the time or energy for training (I mean, he still didn't really know his name) a new dog at this point - that's ok, it's good you realized it early on.
😊so glad you got the split leaf philodendron. One of my favorite plants of all time! Easy care. I love all your plants. Great video too.
Be careful with philodendrons. The leaves can be poisonous to pets!
I think you make a right decision. You do you. New subscriber here. 😊
Love all of your videos!
Awww, Jeffrey, I hope Reese, Stella and you will all be okay.
She minds very well.😂❤
Best decision. It clearly was not working. I suggested it a few weeks ago. He will find the right family.
I imagine you in a vintage house with modern and vintage decor intertwined! Lovely Vlog!! TEMU haul was fun!
Jeffrey you had to do what you did. Good decision. Im proud of you.❤
Sad but the dog is obviously better off with someone else.
When you say you sent invoices.. what do you mean? For what? Thanks!
I resell vintage and antiques on my other channel!
The amethysts formation, on your counter, is terrific! Really lovely 💐
Does your floor steamer work on carpets? I invested in a carpet steam cleaner yrs. Ago its been a God Send....
well, I did run it over the top of the rug and it made it look cleaner, but definitely does not get down deep.
What kind of steam mop do you use?😊
Those plant prices were FANTASTIC!
Reece was so cute. She will find a new home soon. Love those shops you went to. I could spend hours just looking.
Poor little Reese, but I’m sure he’ll find a good home.
Right decision about the dog. Hey, now ya know. I had pets all my life growing up and while raising my daughters who are married with children and have pets. I "dog sit" for them when needed. I'm retired and keep my daughter's older dog with me and he travels from her house to mine.
A wise old veterinarian once said if a pet is stressful on the family, it's time to let them go. Reece will be ok.🙂
Wise Vet, I agree ❤
You can rent a carpet steam cleaner from most grocery or hardware stores. I own one and clean my carpets once or twice a year.
How about a shade of blue to replace the pink wall? You made the right decision for Stella and Reece.
That's a GREAT price for the Monstera.
