I’m glad we couldn’t get a qb in the 1st. If I can’t get daniels or maye im not wasting years of time on a penix or jj, when we can simply take the best guys available and build the roster and try again to trade up (or tank) for next years draft.

Bowers is considered perhaps to be the GOAT for college TE's. If used properly given a good QB he can be the next Kelce/Kittle. IMO he should be the #2 option in the passing game and open things up for Davante. Flexed out-HBack-Inline he can help in all areas. He will be a nightmare to match up with and his YAC is tremendous. Paired with Mayer they could be a fantastic tandem moving forward. and give the Raiders an edge in base 1-2 sets. But until we get a QB its like pinning a ribbon on a pig.

Brock Bowers was the best prospect in the draft and the Raiders got him at 13th, that’s crazy value. Mark my words, Bowers will end up being in the hall of fame when his career is over. He’s already made history in college football for being by far the best TE to ever play in college. He’s a 3x All American and the only 2x John Mackey award winner. For those of you who don’t watch college football, the John Mackey award is given to the top TE each season. He was also the most talented player on Georgia’s roster the 3 years he was there. And again if you don’t watch college football you won’t understand how crazy that alone is because of how talented Georgia is. They consistently recruit a top 3 recruiting class each year. Meaning they get a shit ton of the best high school prospects in the nation each year.

IT'S ALL ABOUT VERSATILITY AND PLAYMAKERS!!
You can CLEARLY see how FLUID & XPLOSIVE Brock is compared to Mayer!. Mayer looked too robotic and slow to get hips around. He's a great blocker and getting off blocks too!! These two WILL compliment one another creating MATCHUP NIGHTMARES all over the field for opposing defenses!! THEY SAY the biggest in a player's development HAPPENS in year 2!! IMAGINE IF!?
we had KOONTZ & MAD MAXX coming off the EDGES!!..big Chris up the middle!! But the WILD CARD in THIS scenario?? Is THIS!! What IF Tyree Wilson MAKES that HUGE jump from year one to two ( As anticipated!!) But NOT as a down- lineman
But rather? As a " HYBRID" Backer/ Blitzer/ Cover guy!! To play a very similar role for US as DALLAS uses Micah Parsons!! He would OBLITERATE RB's or ANY RECEIVERS near him!! He is a FREAKISH athlete!! Great Coahes not only FIND ways to get PLAYMAKERS on the field!! When necessary? They'll MAKE/ CREATE new & innovative plays/schemes etc!! We got ALOT of weapons on OFFENSE!!😳 Here's our SPREAD
    1) Tucker ( slot/ motion)
    2) Adams Wide L
    3 J. Meyers ( slot/motion/wildcat/ Wide R #2
    4) Bowers ( all over!! Seek mismatch and exploit)
    5) Mayer ( xploit HIS SIZE vs Lb's or Db's!! 3rd d's)
SERIOUSLY?? NO MATTER WHERE U LOOK!?
OUR GUYS ARE JUST TOO UNIQUE!! SPEED/SIZE/ HANDS/POWER/ETC!! YOU CAN LITERALLY HOP ON OUR NEW CENTERS BACK ( J.JOHNSON) AND SKIP TO THE END ZONE!! 🤯

Oh your right TOM Fiasco Telasco took at that time one of the best players availiable..He did not take what player was best for the team...Is Bowers a Good Player? Sure but isn't every TE in college ..He may be a cut above..2 TE in 1st 2 rounds is 1 to much..
No doubt they will now throw the ball to him because he went in 1st round..So now Raiders are the eagles? Always throwing to TE?
The Foasco is RB from New Hamphire or West Hamphire I dunno the difference but he's not going to make the 53..Both CBs drafted will not either..1 maybe..Maybe but,not both..DBs are a Raiders best strength rn..so? Glaze ? In 3rd round? 3rd team all American in the 3rd round..Depth only...So 1 pick not highest priority, 2 picks flip coin but probably not going make team a RB that will be cut..and a tackle that could land on practice squad..MJ Devonshire ? He will be practice squad or cut.. Rest of the picks are real good..The center/ guard from Oregon, the kid from airforce , the linebacker from Ohio st is great pick..
But what do Raiders expect after signing a Guy who was fired and never made it to playoffs..?
There's GMs out there that went to superbowl more than once but, Fiasco is our guy....Raiders already had good team so eff that guy anyways right ?

Why pick up a second rate quarterback who might not even be in the league after 3 years? When you can have the best tight end in the draft!!….
You’re ungratefully stupid if you want to hate on the acquisition of Brock Bowers. News flash! there were pros and cons to most ANYONE the Raiders chose at the 13th pick. There’s no such thing as a 100% correct answer as nobody truly knows which of these players will be a bust or a star. Some Raiders fans are just conditioned to be pessimistic & bitch about things. But this helps the offense way more than it harms it!!!!

What my concern is is that, WE DONT HAVE A QB TO THROW TO HIM!! It’s great that he’s such a dynamic ball player, but who’s going to throw him the ball? O’Donell hasn’t proven he’s the man for the job, so having all this great talent don’t mean a thing!! Being that all the QB’s we were looking at we’re gone, and we decided to go with the best player on the board, why not go after the best player on the board for a position we ACTUALLY needed? I would have rather they gone with Taliese Fuaga from Oregon State, at least that would have filled a need!!!

Random question: Isn't Henry Ruggs out of prison by now? And if so, could the Raiders bring him back? That is: Do they still have his rights? He isn't banned for life, I don't think...?
If he's truly repentant. He's still a young man. And he was SO good.
Just wondering why it hasn't even been discussed...
