  • In this video we talk through how anyone with a few simple tools can diagnose a misfire on their car. The car Wes is working on is a 2011 Honda CR-V with 189,000 miles and the diagnosis was a bad spark plug. After $47 for new iridium spark plugs, the was sent on it's way with a perfectly running engine.
Welcome to “The Stanley Way” channel where we will cover just about every project that a typical American family will encounter. This is not a “pro how to” channel, just an ordinary guy videoing his own projects.
Current and future projects include converting two bedrooms and a bath into a movie theater, installing a hybrid water heater, cleaning and painting the garage floor, building a mega shed, Kiwico projects, installing a hybrid solar panel system and many auto repairs.
We will also post videos of various DIY science projects, mountain bike rides, and whatever else we like to do.
You may learn something, you may not, but somewhere along the line you will probably laugh as Wes documents even his most embarrassing mistakes.

This is good information. It seems like Honda Coil, plug hole is the OEM name for the ignition coil. It's interesting that doesn't look like a piece of "wire"

If you swapped spark plugs, coil packs, and the fuel injectors separately then that has eliminated those three. It could be the signal going to the spark plug or the signal going to the injectors. You will need to see the data while the engine is running with a good diagnostic computer.
