Honestly this takes a lot of confidence and a dominating personality. As cool as I think Lions are I couldn't see myself raising them knowing how dangerous they are. One bad day and an angry Lion could mean a very painful death.
Nick Steadman I have worked with lions personally face to face with lots of physical contact. They feed off of your energy and body language. You have to never show the slightest bit of fear, and always remember you are the dominant figure and you are In charge. The animal is not stupid, it knows it is much larger then you are and it knows it can hurt you. Respect the animal and it will respect you. Biggest lesson to remember is do not enter their bubble without their permission, you will know when you have their permission. Let them enter your bubble first. Spit on your hand so they can smell and taste your scent. When they lick your spit, your scent is forever in their memory.
well I wonder, is it about having lots of confidence or about having lots of stupidity? Maybe a mixture, there is a fine line. Before anyone bashes me, all animals are unpredictable in nature, even dogs, which humans have been taming for centuries, you can't ever take the wild out of the animal no matter how much you try.
The news lady kept moving her hands while talking was getting that lion attention. That’s in my opinion is dangerous, because sometimes an ordinary house cat might hit your hand.
As a video-based presenter it's a habit that they all have- talking with their hands- but yes it's something you don't want to do around an animal like a lion. You noticed how she cut it out immediately the first time she did it but sort of had to fight the habit afterward?
@@Fandar What an incredibly stupid idea. If you locked up people just for being douches, half the population of the world would be in prison - and, incidentally, half of the incarcerated would be women. Your language, however, would seem to suggest that you only consider abusiveness a problem if a man is doing it and would not just automatically lock up a woman for being domineering, abusive or sexist. Can you confirm or deny that this is your position?
Notice how while there talking with the lion there, every single time the lion stretches his neck to smell the other woman, she put her hand in front of his mouth because thats how quickly and easily she could get attacked.

Everybody's wrong about 1:43. The lion wasn't trying to eat reporter's hand. If we consider the distance between the lion and the reporter, if he was wanna to do that, it would be so instant that not only the handler lady, but no one could save her. He was just getting ready to smell her hand.
Lion don't just eat people they don't see us as food, the only way a lion would attack n eat a human is unless the lion his injured, meaning if he had a broken tooth that prevents him r her from hunting so they will try to eat a human cause of the softer flesh.
Conservative Developer So tired of kids trying to sound physiological and shit on youtube. It's easier to integrate yourself with tame animals than complex human beings bud.
Shes just stupid. Why would someome risk his life like that? They are still wild animals. Look at Sigfried and Roy. They trained their lions over years but got attacked by them.
I love all these fucking lion experts in the comments. It's like having RUclips gives people degrees in whatever they see a few videos of on the internet.
1:44 the lion is offended by the interviewer calling him a wild animal and he goes to get at the interviewer but the woman covers his mouth and moves his face back that lion was probably thinking "What!!! Wild animal? I'm Simba bitch"
She is not the leader. Lions would never accept a human as the leader of the pride, that’s not what’s happening. They accept her and they respect her somewhat, but lions are well aware that humans are not lions and they never accept them as members of the pride. They tolerate people and they even can like them end bond with them. But that’s where it ends. It is nonsense. If such a thing would actually happen that lions accept a human as the leader, then that would be essentially a death sentence for the human sooner or later. Lions don’t do that.

So, I think what actually happened at 1:44 is that the handler didn't want the lion to freak out the reporter, or the reporter's reaction to trigger predator instincts in the lion.
they probably don't see her as the leader of their tribe, she's just learned to respond to their behaviors and moods. lions are not stupid, they know they are bigger and stronger than a human.
The reporter just disrespect the wild animal, you don't wave you arm in front of a wild animal like that. She just enter the space of the lion, even dogs could bite you for that.
That reporter was pissing me of, will those hand gestures when she was speaking. The lions reacted every time she would move her arms. I'm think, bitch be still, and stop staring directly at them!
And then if the lions wld have done something to the reporter they wld have gotten the worst result bc the reporter doesn't know how to act around them!
U also notice how when she did move her hands the one time the lion went to go sniff her and the lady had to distract him lke grab his mouth and pet him lol, less I'm wrong idk
It's the same thing with wolves. if you wave your arms or legs their predictor instinct will kick in because those are the same movements wounded prey make...so the Lions or wolves react to that

I just clicked on this Vid because i made a bet with a friend that there were feminist comments like this one. The lions treat her better even tho they are white :o how is that possible
Actually she didn't. The lion offered her his nose a few times as a way of showing friendliness, and it would not have objected to a stroke on the nose.
@@catman4471 possibly but...the main point, even while waving her hands: THEY ARE *WILD* ANIMALS. Even in friendliness, at any given point, it could have decided that it did not like the way the reporter smelled or could have loved the way she smelled and took a bite. Any flinch or sudden gesture could have set them off. Even house cats swat at things that get their attention. Still pretty dangerous. The Lion Lady isnt even 100% safe. They see her as Mom, sure, but Siegfried and Roy's big cats attacked them. Trained circus animals get fed up sometimes. The danger is still there.
@@BowenEros-gt8gn Yes this is true, you can't ever predict animal behaviour but the lion lady must have a great bond with those animals in order to trust them enough to let others near.
She cannot return these animals into the wild. They've never been. Their home is where they are now. To release them is to abandon and betray them. They will be so stressed out
Think they will train them to be more wild before releasing them into the wild. Maybe test them and see if they're acting properly when a threat is presented to them. But anyways, what could happen? Wild lions challenging them? Well, hopefully they are capable of protecting each other. Just cause they have respect for this woman and being affectionate to her, I don't think it automatically means they would be stupid and try get affectionate with anyone. It's about trust I believe. I hope anyways they will be released into the wild and that will work out for the better good. They deserve freedom these cute lions. 🙂
That's amazing she can do that but cats are too unpredictable to be believing that they gonna always be passive. It's assuming too much. One wrong swipe or bite and it's over.
To release the lions into the wild when they are old is a horrible idea when they were raised in captivity all their life. It's like giving them an early death sentence because they don't know how wild is working when they have been fed all their lives and never had to worry about survival.
Something just feels off about the whole situation. Why is there the need to have a human as the leader of the pride? Just to allow visitors to go into the enclosure to get close to the lions?
+Matt Quan female? Well, i guess there's something there. My mom (a serious female, "soccer ball" mom fenale) ruled the household. Pop would go out to work hard to "bring home the bacon" and on payday, she would commandeer (like the goddamed gustapo) the, well technically his really, paycheck. He wouldn't do nothing much to protest, just to keep the peace!
Matt Quan they're obviously used to humans however lions are yes social animals but since most of those are males they're going to just naturally be a little more suspicious and a little more confrontational not saying that they would attack the woman but they made definitely start bounding up to her and someone who is uncomfortable with a lion approaching them and who doesn't know the Lion's body language could start to freak out and move away or move in a way that encourages the Lions to see her as an intruder like she's not to be there. Presto they walked the Lions around the park the reason dogs are so socialize it's because they're so well accepted by other people and other people tend to know at least I would like to believe some of the basics of a dog's body language. Most people wouldn't take too kindly to her walking a lion down the street. most people would also overreacted. I have a service dog in every time I go into a store I hear little kids screaming and shouting about the puppy. If he wasn't trained or if everybody was doing this not just children even though he was trained it could cause issues. this is why people should not interfere with a service dog or even make eye contact with it. Because you don't know what stage of training this dog is in and let's face it even a trained soldier can get distracted can make mistakes and especially when you are on severe-duty merely 24/7 you get a lot of distractions the biggest thing is teaching to ignore the distractions but you have to start with the smallest intervals.... Sorry didn't mean to make this a training rant LOL point is people aren't used to Lions they might Freak Out and Touch them and just playing too rough could get a person killed the people train and ride on elephants and yes people get killed by them too but we do the same things with horses with dogs with cat. Domestic animals are household pets actually I have killed thousands of people directly and indirectly. Because they've lived with us so long because we either get arrogant or assume certain things and we might even pick up a parasite from them.
If lions accepted me in their clique like this, i''d never hang out with humans again.

I prefer bondag..ding, i meant bonding yes bonding with animals.
Honestly this takes a lot of confidence and a dominating personality. As cool as I think Lions are I couldn't see myself raising them knowing how dangerous they are. One bad day and an angry Lion could mean a very painful death.
Nick Steadman iuiiìi
Nick Steadman can't live your life with fear
connor howard really love ur comment btw wt does bubble mean and if u can add more to the info plz do
well I wonder, is it about having lots of confidence or about having lots of stupidity? Maybe a mixture, there is a fine line. Before anyone bashes me, all animals are unpredictable in nature, even dogs, which humans have been taming for centuries, you can't ever take the wild out of the animal no matter how much you try.
The news lady kept moving her hands while talking was getting that lion attention. That’s in my opinion is dangerous, because sometimes an ordinary house cat might hit your hand.
Carl Parish no, honestly ITS showed them that she loves lion ^^
The lion wanted her to stroke it's nose. That's how cats say hello to humans.
You stupid. She is stopping lion from sniffing and tasting the journalist so he wont attack her.
Nityanand Saswade U dumb f*** he’s talking about the journalist moron
As a video-based presenter it's a habit that they all have- talking with their hands- but yes it's something you don't want to do around an animal like a lion. You noticed how she cut it out immediately the first time she did it but sort of had to fight the habit afterward?
I'm an expert. From my years of experience with lions, I can tell you that, that lion is a real lion.

Any man who acts like that in a relationship is abusive and sexist and should be locked up.
Meanwhile, in the real world:
She: My lions are going to hurt you.
He: Yeeah... Later, psycho.

Who tf thinks that
Notice how while there talking with the lion there, every single time the lion stretches his neck to smell the other woman, she put her hand in front of his mouth because thats how quickly and easily she could get attacked.
Jay Iglesias i thought was the only one. Around the 2nd or 3rd time i even noticed a slight change in her voice for a split second. Meaning that she NEEDED to do that ON TIME .

Everybody's wrong about 1:43. The lion wasn't trying to eat reporter's hand. If we consider the distance between the lion and the reporter, if he was wanna to do that, it would be so instant that not only the handler lady, but no one could save her. He was just getting ready to smell her hand.

She's not just a leader,they see her as a queen👑👑💅💅
She is not the leader. Lions would never accept a human as the leader of the pride, that’s not what’s happening. They accept her and they respect her somewhat, but lions are well aware that humans are not lions and they never accept them as members of the pride. They tolerate people and they even can like them end bond with them. But that’s where it ends. It is nonsense.
If such a thing would actually happen that lions accept a human as the leader, then that would be essentially a death sentence for the human sooner or later. Lions don’t do that.

That reporter would be lunch in 2 seconds if that girl left her there by herself.

The reporter just disrespect the wild animal, you don't wave you arm in front of a wild animal like that. She just enter the space of the lion, even dogs could bite you for that.
i think she's completely safe, but if the cameraman or the reporter did anything like turn their backs on the cats they'd be gone

I just clicked on this Vid because i made a bet with a friend that there were feminist comments like this one. The lions treat her better even tho they are white :o how is that possible
My heart is beating very fast just by watching the 2nd lady enter their territory.
Is it just me or did anyone else see, that the interviewer put her own life in danger a couple of times
Yep she kept gesturing with her hands! Brave but not very intuitive.
Actually she didn't. The lion offered her his nose a few times as a way of showing friendliness, and it would not have objected to a stroke on the nose.
No, the lion didn' t want to attack the lady, but wanted to be peted...hands mean love for them.

They will be so stressed out
I would fear for those lions if they released these "domicile" lions into a the real jungle.....Everything is a freaking experiment 😪
They will be observed so if anything goes wrong she will probably try to get them back.

"cucks"? What meaning is that?

In this sense it just means they obey her and follow her lead despite her being female.

female?
Because they've lived with us so long because we either get arrogant or assume certain things and we might even pick up a parasite from them.
she is letting them lick her hand so they don't "play nibble" on the interviewer.
