Your review, like all the others I've watched, got some things right but not quite but that is why we watch multiple reactions/reviews to find the missing pieces to complete the puzzle. The reason as to why Najma conceived Kamran in this dimension/reality is left open to speculation. Najma's last words to Aisha after she stabbed her was "I'll find it if it's the last thing I do." After many years, did Najma get tired of looking for the bracelet/bangle and just settle down? Did Najma realize that she would need someone born of this dimension/reality to "unlock the noor" using the bracelet/bangle? Did Najma just get knocked up by chance? In Ms Marvel, the Clandestine are from the Noor Dimension and are possibly (spirits?) beings of light. Were they able to construct their own "human bodies" when they were exiled to this dimension or did the Jinn just possess their current host bodies in this dimension when they were banished here? Were they banished here for possessing Kree and/or Skrull and starting the Kree/Skrull war? TBD. The Ms Marvel series deviates from the comics but also incorporates another limited comic series called ClanDestine. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ClanDestine "In Pakistan, where 97% of the population is Muslim, cultural beliefs and practices are heavily influenced by religion, and the phenomenon of “jinn possession” is prevalent and accepted. According to the cultural belief, jinn possession is believed to occur when a jinn, in most cases a bad or evil jinn, enters the human body or takes charge of it without that person’s will; the possessed individual’s actions and emotions are then believed to be under the jinn’s control. People identify discrete periods of time when a jinn takes over mostly as periods of altered consciousness during which the possessed person may be unable to think or speak from his or her own will; become aggressive, restless or agitated; act like a jinn, such as speaking in an incomprehensible language or a woman speaking in a male voice; see or hear strange things, or talk to other jinns; eat large amounts of food or be unable to eat; show disorganized or bizarre behavior; feel weak or dizzy; and lose consciousness or lose touch with reality. According to common cultural belief, these episodes last a few minutes or longer and are repeated frequently until a spiritual or religious intervention is performed by a religious figure to make the jinn leave the body of the afflicted person." ajp.psychiatryonline.org/doi/10.1176/appi.ajp.2015.15030281 Najma did not have a redemption arc and Najma did not sacrifice herself to save her son, Kamran. Najma allowed herself, (or at least her host body), to die so that she could direct her noor (light) to pass into her son Kamran and possess his body as mentioned above so expect Kamran to "not be himself" in the future. The reason she chose Kamran was because she finally realized that only someone born of this dimension who is partly Jinn could unlock the full potential of the noor in this dimension. Najma did this because her objective to return to her own dimension far outweigh any real connection she has with her son, Kamran. Najma plans to use Kamran to achieve her goal. The bracelet, will more than likely turn out to be either a quantum band or nega band to tie into the quantum dimension and/or kree to tie everything together in the MCU. marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Quantum_Bands
I agree - Aisha is stunningly gorgeous! And the way Hasan looks, talks, and treats her is soo romantic 🥰. I love that their love and their story is so beautiful. Old people weren’t always old. Great reaction as always!
The partition they show in this episode is a very modest and soft version of how it actually was. People were brutally murdered dragged burnt alive. The train would arrive at the destination with one end being filled with dead bodies and blood
In south Asian cultures blue colored eyes are considered a symbol of being dishonest. That's why different colored eyes I guess. Plus the whole show has 13th century Islamic poet and philosopher Rumi's translations in it, like "what you seek is already seeking you" and "This too shall pass", which Muslims hold very dear to them. Also the Jinns are known to possess others, I think what Najma did at the end possessing Kamran. Love from Pakistan
I grew up in Pakistan and never heard of blue colored eyes being a symbol of dishonesty. Also never heard of Rumi growing up in Pakistan. And isn't Kamran himself a jinn? Never head of a jinn possessing another jinn.
@@LoneVocalist isn't rumi an islamic poet and philosopher?? that's what op meant..the op didn't mention anything about rumi being a Pakistani or something 😶
@@LoneVocalist I don't know why you did not hear about Rumi and Blue eyes of being dishonestly or not loyal. And yes that possessing part I did not understand myself. Maybe because Kamran is half human, that's why she was able to possess him

While the British occupied India they pit the Muslims and Hindus against each other to destabilize the region. So as soon as they left violence started between both factions.
5:25 This is not why the partition happened. Sikhs and hindus suffered equally and similarly. History and causes of partiton are complex, and like most civil strifes, full of violence.
Partition of India is definetely never given enough coverage atleast on major forum untiill this show so more ppl can know about it. Someone who was directly affected by the partition including looosing my fathers & moms siblings (drining poisoned water and hunger at v little age) and also their grandparents, hearing about my grandparents stories what they faced when moving from India including women b~%bie$ heads cut off by swords by Sikhs one horses while women still carrying them & running with decapitated chil#r@n bodies, their fathers own town shoe shinners cutting his legs to get shoes and then throwing him in rivers, poisining wells at camp sites it was horrendous. Terrible loosing wealth, home and then facing this thou some Sikh/Hindu villagers were supportive and even helped, Sikhs who were majorly the ones massacring later recognized they were played by Hindus with hatred against Muslims put into their minds. 2 million died, 20 million displacced. @MAC React, 0:41 Keep in mind that up until Loki, everyone was living a scripted story. He Who Remains (Nathaniel Richards) controlled how the universe worked. He's gone now, and things are now happening as they should, spontaneous and natural. Allowing the Avengers to go back in time and simply kill Thanos before he got strong wouldn't have been an exciting story. Time travel, as we see it happen here, might also be possible because the means to do it isn't of this universe, but a parallel one. Was that something He who Remains also governed or was he blind to universes like that? Is this universe and Ta Lo the product of the Sacred Timeline splintering into an infinite number of realities? Either way, we are seeing stories after a man the demise of a man who micromanaged every single action in every single universe, so things working differently now, shouldn't be too much of a surprise.
I don't like how they're using Damage Control in the MCU. Damage Control in the comics comes in after superhero fights and cleans up the destruction, they're not a law enforcement agency. It would make more sense to use O.N.E (Office of National Emergency) or even SWORD.
Isn't if funny that in less then 30min Aisha and Hasan had a better love story then Steggy, WandaVision, PeterMJ and Sylki had in HOURS?!!!!!!!!! The chemistry between the actors was magical and just so pure yet tragic made me think of the tragic love of Shang-Chi & Xianlings father and mother!
@@DarthKay093 just because it became "toxic", which i won't agree, doesn't make it a bad love story and remove their chemistry lol. not all love stories end in love which makes WandaVision all the more good

i guess the point of episode 5 is both Aisha and Najma gave their descendant power in 616-dimension with different media, Aisha through bangle that can draw blue power from their realm/dimension while Najma through the power of barrier and that's why the color of Kamran's light was similar to the barrier also i guess if you soon see Thor Love and Thunder will add explanation how realms work in Multiverse, i think dead Clandestines maybe need to leave the mortal bodies to go back to Noor Realm, similar to Duat, Ancestral Plane and realm in Thor L&T. Maybe the human body is the prison.

Not knowing anything about Kamala in the comics, I am still a bit confused. So, was it Aiisha who brought Kamala back in time right when she was in the middle of that fight? Last episode, I thought Kamala's bangle being pierced by that other woman's knife is what sent her back in time. I also thought Kareem got sent back in time with Kamala. I also thought the same thing as you about the villain doing a complete 180 and suddenly agreeing to sacrifice herself to close the gate felt a bit odd. Also, how exactly did she even know that she could close the gate that way? I honestly would've been more satisfied if they did some sort of Buffy the Vampire Slayer season ending where Kamran was actually there and he alone knew that sacrificing her mother would close the gate, but then his mother would apologize to him and he had to made the tough emotional decision to close the gate to save the world. Honestly, though I am really enjoying this show, I gotta say this episode was probably my least favorite, but I am not saying it is bad by any means. But usually the penultimate episode for shows are the best episode of the season, even better than the finale sometimes. I liked the flashbacks, but think this episode probably should've come 1-2 episodes earlier.
