Hi David, Thanks for that ,I do try my best to do a good job and figure problems out. Are you still boating . Three boats built is impressive. I guess you learn from each one, after using for some time what you can improve on in the next one etc. Are you still boating ? Cheers Andy
When putting the ballast on a boat Do boat fitters take in account of balance We have put 180kg (10 engineering blocks)under the dinette To level up as all the weight is on one side (the stove,The cooker, The shower, toilet ,The Beds washing machine etc)
Hi David, We have equall ballast on the bottom . So when it is in the water it can then be levelled as yours is by adding weight to one side. We can put steel offcuts under cupboards etc. Thanks for watching Andy
Hi Garry. All you can do is put it equal under the floor to sit it down. It will be trimmed when floated by adding heavy steel plate under cabinets in the engine bay etc. As tanks empty and fill weight shifts you can't really do anything about it. Andy
Very professional 👍📐🔨😊
Cheers Garry
Very thorough Andy. Great job.
Thanks for following Best Andy
Your doing a grand job Andy , Your turning into a fulltime boat builder Andy LOL, Looking forward to see the build progress . Dave
Glad you enjoy watching David
I’ve had 3 boats built for me over the last 30ish years, you’re attention to detail
Is far above any boat builder I ever seen, keep up the good work 😊

Hi Andy, how do you work out how much ballast you need for the boat to be trim

You previously recommended Screwfix trade floor varnish, now this isn’t available anymore any other you would recommend 👍
Hi Chris. It has been rebranded at screwfix to
FORTRESS 2.5LTR CLEAR SATIN WATER-BASED FLOOR VARNISH. The same stuff just a different name. Andy
