Dang Vic. You have dropped this 3 days ago. Just hooked up eld Monday and couldn't figure out why the day didn't reset. Lol. Didn't do 10 hour reset. Now sitting in OK doing reset and missed some loads out. But right on time with video! Thanks 😊

When does Peak Season actually start? I’m waiting because I’m not seeing the Peak numbers for this freight!
End of Oct, Nov, Dec. Couple weeks in Jan. Amazon is where the bigger bags may drop!!

How do you forecast peak season. I know most RUclipsrs got in the game during the pandemic when everyone was winning and looks like a genius.. We are in recession . Supply of box trucks has increased while spot loads have decreased… We know Hollidays are coming but are we going to have peak season .. High volume of loads and good rates ???

How’s the box truck business in Southern California? Almost every RUclips trucker I find is located between the Midwest and the East coast.
You'd have to check one of my lives to see that market. I don't live out there so I don't keep up with it. 🤷🏽♂
Hey Nelson, I own box trucks and run loads to southern cal… lot of loads .. high volume of loads .. not difficult to find work . However, cost of operating in southern cal is really high.. highest diesel price in the country, truck prices and truck rental rental really high too . Everything is expensive is So cal

Hey Vic , with two drivers in a truck how would ELD work, Can the second driver start a new clock once the other driver runs out of time and keep the truck rolling?
Says you can as long as you both restart for 10 hrs after the 22 driving from my interpretation. It's like nobody even DOT has clear straightforward definitions to any of these rules. They enforce one's they feel from my 2 years experience O/O tbh.

From what I’ve been told if you do not have a sleeper unit both drivers have to split the 14 hrs shift time on the same clock. With a sleeper they can each have their own clock.
@@BiggVic I recall reading that as well, but your not suppose to reset in your truck without a sleeper berth either. I feel like a vigilante riding by DOT lol.

If pulled by DOT officer possibly a fine, could go on your safety record. But you’ll never know unless that happens. Try and keep that clock clean. 👍🏾🤷🏾♂️

I don't think peak season will be like last year. Last year was unique. Rona came. Everything was closed and delivery was the only way. It's not like that anymore. Things have opened back up. Peak season will be good but nothing like last year
why are these box trucks and drivers being treated like commercial vehicles and non commercial drivers?
