This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "how to build iron man" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Xenacob Heyndrew Guide - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my colleague got amazing results with it.

Amazing craftsmanship work brother. So many haters out there, they don't even know how to cut it properly, I'm glad you ignored them. By hand is most satisfactory than any automated machine. Congratulations.

    • @Q5Grafx

i would want one oversized just slightly so i could get 18 layers of kevlar inside it: which is around 1/2" thick but would make it able to stop a 44 magnum. i have one of the korean bulletproof facemasks but its so boring looking with absolutely no features. I would love to make the stormtrooper helmet with kevlar inside and a builtin NVG system. Have you seen the ironman mask by Xrobots? he has the face shield mechanized and lit eyes but i think its 3d printed not nearly as niice as steel but the machanism would be a sick add to this project.

    so much talent! amazing job.
question: could it be possible to do that kind of work with stainles steel? im guessing one would have to deal with work-hardening issues, depending on the type of SS, and welding would be a bit more complicated (i guess TIG is the only way).

I just got done building my own Captain America shield for my son for Halloween lol. It was a blast. If I had all the equipment that you had I would love to do this project as well. My ultimate goal is to build a piece of each avenger and hang them on the wall with spotlights in his room. I know you probably get tired of hearing this, but would you potentially sell one of those helmets? Matter of fact, you don't even have to do that. Just give me the pattern that you came up with and I will try it on my own? Nothing that a jigsaw can't handle LOL.
