Awesome realisation, so close to the original design, and showing details i did not even ever have noticed till watchng this captivating video... A real master piece !
Shogun-Jimi my guess is he can keep one hand free with a mig, and the sporadic tac welds along the joint help in avoiding warping from pumping in heat in one spot like doing the joint straight from one weld with a tight would do
@@Shiratto But the real guy that wears the real armor are far away of a fantastic and unreal Darth Vader my friend ! And I'm here to see a REAL ARMOR not a character as D.Vader. Could you see what I mean now ?
@@Friedermanns I think you're just striving for a worthless sense of superiority by being immensely negative, and trying to de-value Albertos point for not being "real life" and instead a character. i believe what most would call this is a "big brain boomer moment".
I do not know what you do for a living, but I think you have a calling. You should be working in Hollywood making works of art. Exactly what this helmet is. Dude you are a master craftsman!!!! Damn that is so kick-ass. Keep up the amazing work.
Man thats awesome. Best fan made vader helmet ever. Should do the rest of the costume, keep it unpainted and wear to the convention. Would get you some serious attention. Awesome work.
Olá GoldPointProps. Your metal props are awesome! Is it possible to feature some of your videos on our social media pages? I'm sure our community will like your content. I need your approval. I'll also credit you of course. Have a nice day and keep up the good work! 🙂
It looks AWESOME, just like the one in the movie. If you would make a black finish, you couldn't tell the difference... I hope that this video gets a lot of views, you deserve it.
I could. Because darth vaders yelmets have always been different each movie. Also, darth vaders paintjob is silver and black puzzle patterns except in rots
You should polish it and take it to a gunsmith to have it blued (which is really black, because it's black oxide). If you just painted it black, it wouldn't look any different than a plastic one, but blued steel looks like metal that's inherently black.
I cant believe this video hasnt blown up yet, i have no words, this is a true masterpiece. Props bro... see what i did there? Hehe props, hehe you make props.
I every time i come back to this channel im just amazed by what i see. You know there is a show called forged in fire. It would be cool to see you compete, but other than that, beautiful work man keep it up. Also if your taking suggestion you should try star lords helmet from guardians of the galaxy
You are so talented. Your boba fett helmet video inspired me and my brother to try to make one and we did thanks to you and your video. I have started making a Darth Vader helmet but I have not made it very far yet but now you have inspired me to continue working on mine. Thank you!
A -F__KING-MAZING !!! I think someone who doesn't work with their hands, or in a trade, may not have an appreciation for the level of expertise a project like this requres. Your skill is off the charts with this one GPP ... subbed & looking forward to seeing whats up next along with stuff you've done so far.
Impressive. Most impressive.
My jaw is on the floor. Simply badass!!
Ben Brines ... I was gonna say that Star Wars line 😭😭😭😭
This is excellent work. Very well done sir.
Hey! Just wanted to thank you for the gauntlet tutorial. I kinda needed it for my Ironman build
@@WilliamAftonsTrap You're very welcome!

Wondering if it feels heavy to wear.
Masterpiece from such a talent.
can't even begin to understand how much patience and skill this took, absolutely awesome
One of the coolest star wars things I've ever seen
As everyone else has said, Amazing Work!! For the life of me, can't figure out how you would get dislikes on this video.
Al Dinelt
I'm thinking
Whom ever clicked
Dislike
are just jealous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe the fact that he's tacking, NOT welding...
Probably Disney fans.
Welders that find the lack of proper welds and ppe disturbing
Ok I don't know how I don't know how I stumbled across this but I am so glad I did. Beautiful absolutely beautiful craftsmanship.
That would look so good powder coated a high gloss black . But it's very awesome as is. You sir have skills
That's just badass!!!
thanks Dan - This is just great work. I wonder why he does not just a tig welder?
No sure but its clear he knows what he is doing.
Shogun-Jimi my guess is he can keep one hand free with a mig, and the sporadic tac welds along the joint help in avoiding warping from pumping in heat in one spot like doing the joint straight from one weld with a tight would do
thank you for commenting I do tig weld I just don't have a tig welder at my home shop yet
I am in the auto industry I build high end custom cars/hot rods.
I was expecting to see a helmet machined out of a block. It's incredible that you made it from sheet! You are very talented!
WOOWW ! Even the real Darth Vader's helmet used in the original film was in plastic ! Thumbs up !
Goodness me, the skill you need to make this, the precision, it blows my mind! Phenomenal job!
You look like Tony Stark when he build his first armor xD
Useless to compare a real person to a character. Life is waaaaay interesting than fantasy drawings mate !
Hesse Friedermanns | Then why are you on a video of someone making a piece of armor based on a sci fi fantasy movie from the 70s?

so cool. it's funny just how many things in 'star wars' have such odd angles like this mask, the star destroyer and snowspeeder.
You should be very proud of this helmet! Looks perfect!! Can't imagine how long it takes..
From an old bodyman you are truly talented young man
Sir, you have some metal shaping skills like none I’ve ever seen before!!!

this helmet shouldn't be painted black, it should remain shiny raw metal
Wow. Such detail. Your a true artist
True craftsmanship. Your car must be sick.
Amazing work. Amazing results. A pleasure to watch your talent in action. Would love to see you do an original stormtrooper helmet.
Top! It pays to have the right tools. That is a full shop needed to make that helmet.
You should try making the master chief helmet if you haven't done it yet
I plan on it

Polish it to a mirror finish. That would look doooooooooope.
