- Kallikantzaroi are infamous for wreaking destruction on Christmas decorations. While they will go for any Christmas decoration, they are particularity drawn to larger, more elaborate decorations, particularly Christmas trees.

Am I the only one intrigued by the fact that a wesen can be so harmless that even a Grimm can regret killing them?

the name Indole Gentile means "good nature" when one of them sees Nick she is alarmed but not hostile or frightened and then she calmed down when Nick says he is a cop and is concerned about her son. some wesen kinds are very benign and only an extremist Grimm who viewed all wesens as monsters would kill these wesen kinds.

Is this why my relatives were always trying to get the young kids to eat fruit cake? Adults in my family never touched the stuff. They never bought it either. They always claimed it was a present from a neighbor. Yet every Christmas all my relatives had a fruit cake at their house for the kids to eat.

You know, I like to think that Nick informed the Wesen Council about it. Imagine their faces when they find out that the solution to this problem is fruitcake.
As a german... this does not look a lot like Stollen. Stollen can be super nice and a lot of Germans love it, while fruitcake seems to be universally despised. Proper Stollen is a loaf-shaped heavy yeast dough with ground-up nuts, candied orange and lemon, and raisins. It's usually on the drier side, which is combated by pouring shittons of butter onto it right after baking and then heavily dusting it in powdered sugar (it's called laminating I believe and is a method of preserving the loaf.). Stollen also often made with a marzipan center. This looks like a chewy mess. Sure, it does have candied fruit in it, but I feel like that's where the similarities start and end.
I haven't tried fruit cake yet, and they do say don't knock it till you try it, but I'll take some Stollen over fruit cake any day.
What you just described sounds like buttered fruitcake with marzipan. :D

They probably didn't have time to find actual Stollen so went with the closest thing they could get short notice. Unfortunate, since Stollen is quite delicious compared to fruit cake.

Amazon is only old episodes. I think it might have been a Netflix/NBC show. Amazon has a license to stream the show. Amazon Prime carries a lot of programing from other streaming services, or networks.
Prime has it only for US.
There is no legal ways to watch or buy it in Europe.

they actually commented that they hadn't seen any signs. since it is rare and recessive the parents must not have any had known family members that had it so they never suspected the chance.

FYI the pronunciation for Kallikantzaroi is wrong , it's better without the (o) Kallikantzari , the (oi) at the end sound like the (e) letter , Kallikantzaroi is the plural of Kallikantzaros , many Kallikantzar(o)i -/ one Kallikantzaros, καλικάντζαροι/καλικάντζαρος.

You could've at least googled what a Stollen cake looks like and Christstollen was being baked in Dresden as far back as the 1540s. Basic research, people.
Edit: I was actually wrong about that last bit. The first time a sweet, elongated, loaf-shaped Christmas time pastry was called Stollen was in 1329, although it was made differently from today's Dresdener Stollen.
give you a clue this takes place in an alternate world where Austria still has a Royal Family. the stollen you are thinking of is loaf shaped. this was an actual cake that stood over ten feet and weighed 84 pounds. so yes the first stollen that was a giant cake
