short, sweet and simple (with an added bonus of grit at the end!)
i would say, "well done", but you guys frikkin' _killed_ it!
I have all XLN Audio products. Fantastics! Thanks
Glad you like them!
Me gusta mucho AD2 los sonidos de cada pieza son muy buenos 🤙
Didn’t know you could do this !!
Where are the new releases? I have pre purchased ADpaks to select and nothing new comes. I’d just like to see more drum products from you guys?
Any news for new AD3 or maybe a new adpak? papa needs more funk/modern metal kits
When I tried this, the tracks didn't show up in the workspace like yours did. Do you know how to fix this? Thanks! I'm also on logic (10.7.4) by the way.
Sure! First make sure you load AD2 as multi-output when selecting the plug-in in a software instrument track. If you now open up the mixer section of Logic and look towards the bottom of the AD2 channel you should see a + button underneath the fader. Click on that a bunch of times to expand the aux channels for the multi-output. Hopefully this helps you out.
@@xlnaudio thankyou helped me too - should be in the video!
Useful video as always. Alt click doesn't seem to send to separate outs for me.I have to do it one by one. I use Pro Tools Studio on Windows 10. Help welcome.
I just tried it and it was the same on my setup. My guess is that the Pro Tools is programmed to not send Alt button clicks to the plug-in, but instead send it directly to the DAW. So unfortunately Alt editing will not work in Pro Tools. Thanks for reporting this.
@@xlnaudio shame as its a useful function. Thanks for getting back to me.
How can I do this usb outboard gear (Tascam Model 24) I was previously able to do this before updating the AD2 software (individually track out on the board). I use the vst as standalone
Hello, please get in touch with our Support team and they should be able to assist you with this: www.xlnaudio.com/support
Hello, I have fnote 5x electronic drums, how can I mapping correctly with the addictive drums 2?i don't see fnote mapping on addictive drums 2.

Eso sería increíble

It has been ages since you've released new adpaks, are you still developing AD2 and recording new adpaks or have you moved on?
You're right, it's definitely been a while since we released new sounds for Addictive Drums. But rest assured, Addictive Drums is far from abandoned. We can't give you any dates or details but we hope that you will hang in there and stick with us.
@@xlnaudio that’s good to hear, AD2 is my favorite drum plugin and I and many others would love to get more content!

Any way to do this in studio one with out converting the printed midi stems to audio. Then deleting the midi? And Addictive Drums are the Shit!!! Hands down!!!
Hi, our Support team might be able to point you in the right direction when it comes to this www.xlnaudio.com/support
please let us change the midi beat's randomness. in the midi section,so when I have shuffling off-timed beat,I can just drag and drop into my track.
Hello, you should be able to do this in the Transform tab on the BEAT page. If you click and drag on the MIDI beat's title in the MIDI controller section on the BEATS page you should be able to export the altered MIDI file into your DAW. Don't hesitate getting in touch with our support team if you would have any further questions about this: www.xlnaudio.com/support
Anybody know how to do this in Maschine?
Hey, Addictive Drums have some reverbs and delays. Is there a way to export those effects as a separate fx track? Say, I want dry kick, snare, hats, overheads, room, etc, and then a separate fx track. What would a professional do to separate that fx track in audio format?
Good question! That's how it works when you route the channels in Addictive Drums to separate outputs in your DAW. The reverb/delay stays on the original instrument track, while the dry drums go on their own tracks.
@@xlnaudio You didn't get the idea. I want to export this fx track separately as an audio file. What should I do in Cubase to do it? I don't want it to stay somewhere "on some instument track" god only knows what. I want to know precisely, what is the name of this separate track with effects in the plugin and what should be done to export this separate track? This is not as much some "vague routing to cover up a fuck up" question, but rather a direct question: what should be routed and where to get a separate audio track. Are you capable of providing a direct answer to that?
@@xlnaudio What is "the original instrument track"? I have a plugin, for the dry tracks like kicks, snare, there is a routing output path, but where is the routing path for the fx track separately? How to make it to show up in the daw as the "FX track", just like "overheads" or "room track"? That is, the separate track for the fx effects. Do you understand now? I want it to be able to export separately. Did you mess up this part when you created your plugin?
@@sevchyk Sorry for not answering more clearly. What I meant was that if you route all the channels in Addictive Drums to separate tracks, then all that will be left coming out of the instrument track that you have Addictive Drums loaded on are the isolated reverb/delay sounds. That's the track that all drums come out of until you start routing them to other tracks. I hope that clears things up. I'm afraid that it's not possible to get the FX on its own track unless you route all drums away from the original stereo track.
@@xlnaudio Bonjour. I own most Beats in your greta collection, and wanted to add a Bossa Nova one but couldn't find this item. Do you ever plan to release one ? I could not find ANY bossa nova beat anywhere in my various XLN libraries. Did I overlook them ? Merci.
Hello im alone i think to ask HOW did you have this page after separe ?
Hi! In this video we loaded Addictive Drums in the program Logic. Please contact customer support if you need further assistance:

Hello Addictive Drums, so AD doesn't have a rimshot sound?
Hi, Yes Addictive Drums 2 comes with rimshot sounds, if you have any further questions about this please get in touch with our Support team and they will be able to give you a more details on this: www.xlnaudio.com/support
Does not work in fl studio 21, it does nothing on MacOs
UPD: Well it works on OH ROOM and BUS slots, it separates them to 12 - 13 -14 channels. But instruments are not.
Unfortunately the AU version of Addictive Drums 2 can't output the mono tracks separately, does it work if you load the VST3 version instead?
@@xlnaudio yeah! VST3 Works, Thank you!
When I do this I don't have any channels showing in logic. Could you help please?

How to do thin on Fl studio
Hi, we just started officially supporting FL Studio, so we have no video on how to do this yet, but if you contact our Support team they might be able to point you in the right direction:

But how to add Ride to separate track?
Hi, all cymbals including the rides are on the overhead and room channels, there are no individual channels for these kit pieces. Depending on your setup, a work around for this is that you create another AD2 instance for your ride cymbals and then use the separate outputs on the OH and Room channels for those separate tracks in your DAW. Don't hesitate getting in touch with our support team if you would have any further questions about this: www.xlnaudio.com/support
This does not work in Bitwig, or I can't get it to do this.
