when I send OH as a separate output, the cymbals are no longer in stereo - if I pan them within AD and the output is master they pan, but if OH has a separate output, the pans don't work
Hi! I made everything just as you said but my separate channels are in strange stereo mode - like left channel for the kick and right for the snare on first one, left for one tom right for another tom on second etc. how do i break it up to mono channels?
Hi Ian, That sounds strange. Did you click on the small + to add Aux tracks? What does the input say on the first Aux 1 kick channel? It should be called "Addict3". Please send in a ticket via www.xlnaudio.com/support if you need more detailed assistance.
Hi, yes there is, check the edit-page for the kit pieces and you should be able to set these parameters. If you would have any further questions about this then don't hesitate getting in touch with our Support team and they will assist you www.xlnaudio.com/support
Super, except how do you then bounce each output to audio individually? I want one audio file for kick, one for snare, etc. That would be a huge leap forward with this plugin
Hi, you should be able to do this, we can set you up with detailed instructions on how to achieve this if you contact us through our website: www.xlnaudio.com/support

Is there a way to set up multi channel output in standalone mode / without DAW? I'm able to set the separate output option for each channel, but I can't find any routing settings to link these outputs to specific output channels of my interface (Behringer X32).
Hi there Jan, Make sure the available outputs of your selected audio device is activated in the Audio & MIDI Setup dialouge. Open up the dialouge by clicking on the button in the top left corner labeled "Audio & MIDI Setup". Then check all outputs you want Addictive Drums 2 to have access to. @@XLNAudioSupportChannel thanks for your answer. so in case i activate output channels 1+2,3+4,5+6 the mains would be on 1+2, eg. kick on 3, snare on 4, overhead on 5+6? or will it always output the mixer channels in stereo? (scenario is, that i want to use my X32 IEM Mixer Scene Presets for my Acoustic Drums AND my Edrums)
In multichannel mode all close mic channels (Kick, Snare, Hihat etc) will be routed to one mono output each, starting with Kick on output 1. Overhead, Room and Bus will be routed to one stereo output each, and last the Master on a separate stereo output.
But how to multiout a stock preset and keep it's origin form - compression on the master bus, etc? To preserve and use it the way it was made! But on separate tracks in the Daw! Im using Studio One 4.5 and when i try to multichannel a stock preset, I end up with some kind of doubled sound - loud and annoying. I don't get it.
Hello guys, excelent video! i need your help. I need to convert those aux channels into wav channels (mono for kick and snare, stereo for over and room) how can i do that to treat them separate but as audio. I use logic too. ! if you cand help me would be awesome.! Thank you.
Hi Daniel, In Logic, audio from an instrument are routed to one or several Aux channels. Even though you can put plugins on these channels, and route them to other Aux channels, I don't think you can record the sound directly. Here's a work-around: 1. Right-click on each of the Aux tracks in Logics Mixer, and choose "Create track". This will create a track for that aux channel in the arrangement window. 2. Logic won't export a track without a Region in Arrange, so you'll need to use the Pencil to draw a Region on every Aux track (the Region doesn't need to contain any data - just an empty Region will do). 3. Go to the menu File -> Export -> All Tracks As Audio Files. 4. The next pop-up window will something like "10 tracks to be bounced" or however many tracks you have. Hope you'll find this method useful..
Hello Daniel, were you able to make this happen? I've been unsuccessfully trying for hours to do so... Please help me out if you figured it out. Thanks!

We have recorded samples of "snare buzz" that are triggered whenever the bass drum or the toms are triggered (just like how the snare vibrates along with the other drums on a real drum kit). Go to the EDIT page and click the [SNARE] button in the bottom section. In the lower left corner of that page you have a volume slider for the Snare Buzz. Please try dialing it down and see if that helps.
