Marianne Cove is a wonderful wonderful snug anchorage. The hike is one of the most rewarding hikes in the North Channel. We have been cruising the North Channel for 36 years and retiring next year and really looking forward to being out the entire summers. Plans are to be looping next year on our Beneteau Oceanis 40.

Wow Mike that sounds wonderful . You have a few years on us. Michael spent a lot of time there as a boy but that was a some time ago. Best of luck on the loop!

We enjoyed the video. We hope to make it through that area in the future. We are now in the Apostle islands on Superior.

Ha we did that same hike in July. Absolutely stunning views and was a top highlight of our trip as well. Did you know AJ Casson from the group of seven painted from that spot? I think his painting is called Baie Fine Entrance.

They are called Keens. I love them more than Teva's that Michael wears for walking as they protect your toes. They worked fine for me for this hike. Michael usually wears hiking boots for longer hikes. He loves the Merril brand. Hope that helps.
