Imagine giant space elephant that have absurdly thick skin, so very hard to bring down, then armored up with ceremite plate all over it or what have you, with a literal fortress on its back
I headcanon that one of the Lost had a Mesopotamian theme. Like an amalgamation of Akkadian Babylonian and Assyrian. Would also work with the "Potential Heretics" angle with them having *Esoteric Scholars* like the Thousand Sons.
Chaos: - Mesopotamians like Sumerians and Assyrians. - Folklore based Buddhism with emphasis on the Hells with Onis and other specific Daemons like Ashuras. - A Malal(the older supposed 5th Chaos God) based faction, or canonise the Sons of Malal Legion, since they are a cool faction based upon Cannibalism and Intrigue. Imperium: Based upon the cultures already in the imperium: - Arabs, 40k already have Tallarn Desert Raiders. - Czarian Russian, 40k already has Vostroyan. - 40k already has Minotaurs Chapter which is basically based upon Sparta, but they could have something based upon the Minoan Civilization (before Greeks).
Oh the Indians used war elephants out the wazoo, that's where the Hellenic powers got them from, and Carthage started using war elephants after fighting pyrrhus
I will note that Rage Gaming did get a review copy of DD2 about a month early, but even as someone who enjoys their Pro & Noob stuff I don't watch any of their build or "New Secrets Found" videos at all.
the mortifactors have a very central/south/native american vibe to them lots of skulls ceremonial dinners of their enemies corpses very much small man squads for recon and attacks down to 2 man for ridiculous guerrilla fighting they scout and utilize terrain heavily minus some feathers or designs on their armor per say they are very very much pre colonial american native they are the only ultrasmurfs successors i like they are also very superstitious like those native tribes too also Polynesian or maori warrior sir we have carcaradons big brutal melee focused space borne chapter travels the far edges of the galaxy dealing w bs
Hey dude thx for watching :D I'll have to check the mortifactors if they are that close to the Aztec/Meso-American theme...sounds cool I did want to stress though that the "Fan" in question you talk about has been a VERY good friend of not only asmo, but me as well...years at this point Game'd and VC'd with him countless times, he's honestly just wanting our opinion on a channel he reminisced with recently with a friend, as he said in his comment. Karn is super chill and he also let us know about paygating half of their reaction on patreon, now I've not physically seen this but I've never known this man to lie like...ever? So I trust his word. It would be a bad look if we just made fun of their voices, antics and choice of games they cover. But I'd say we gave genuine (atleast me) criticism on their recent stuff and how it feels formulaic. Do appreciate the concern though man, it wasn't done with bad intention as I dont have any personal connection to the channel, just wanted to give thoughts Thx again for the support :)
@@nathanx2000. yeah i wasnt trying to white knight for rage either which is why i edited my bit about them out addressing some points because like alot of mh community people we follow a ton of channels for dif things but arent realt into everything they do rage is like that people will hit the build vids or update overview vids to get build ideas from their take as a particular weapon main then hit a dif channel for a build take w new gear etc they did get a review copy of DG2 most mh guys did cuz capcom is on good terms w alot of them and it is alot more shallow then it got made out to be its honestly a side grade or only a .5 upgrade to base dragons dogma and the classes got simplified from the first game so build guides are alot easier the content conveyor i see some mh channels do like arekkz does and a few others during content droughts for mh so it keeps the channel relevant w the algorithm i think i agree alot of their stuffs formulaic w the stuff being for certain still somewhat popular or new games their core mh fanbase has crossover w but again its competition too w those other channels like arekkz fighting cowboy rurikhan etc that all have a crossover following and cover alot of the same stuff their worst offence is clickbait by far tho for what if chatty vids about lore speculation and i agree discord paywall is dumb but thats another yt trope of if u have a patreon or members usually theres a member only discord so its id say less a dsp level narcissistic thing overall and more just trying to farm the yt algorithm and being formulaic when their core audience is tuned out cuz the content isnt the thing they get watched for primarily like new mh stuff the samey thumbnails and stuff tho thats less lazy more branding if its lazy well alot of people are kinda lazy for just having their branding and using it constantly on everything they absolutely arent the best mh content guys either but they have a gimmick their takes on builds and new updates for that game in particular are unique takes too so alot of the criticism is warranted but not to too harsh a degree its schlock but its also being made for people that like it sometimes and other times bounce between multiple channels theyd do better cutting down on alot of the excess rewatch or click bait wut if vids honestly and just do streams discussing it w fans would be less clutter vid wise and help their channel like twitch dying had opened the doors for yt streaming especially for established channels like theirs to actually breathe life into their content and channel on whole especially if they do it on days other crossover fanbase channels and similar sphere creators arent streaming day or time wise u see that a good bit in some communities w channels and creators who collab a good bit as to the mortefactors they are not as overtly native as say the carcaradons are def space maori but theres def some inspiration there and gw if there werent a billion smurf successors could lean into it for them for sure
Ehh ...the Legions are not based off a SINGLE culture or theme, there are many themes (some more prevalent than others ) that were amalgamated to make their lore.
In a sense the charcaradons have heavy Polynesian aesthetic to them with a lot of their markings
SHOUT OUT BILLYMOUNT WOOOOOOOOOO
Imagine giant space elephant that have absurdly thick skin, so very hard to bring down, then armored up with ceremite plate all over it or what have you, with a literal fortress on its back
Space carthaginians, the salt lords XD
Calling the votan "DRG inserts" is an insult to DRG. There are infinitely better DRG homebrew inserts.
Also Indians would have some crazy power weapon designs, imagine power katar, or power chakram XD
A SM's Mutated Elephant similar the Krieg's Horse.
I did forget to mention that around half of those self-reacts (Visual-Masturbation?) are only on Patreon xD

See most marine chapters are so brutal anyone forget that the angels Vermillion have blood pool parties made of loyal chapter surfs
I don't know where to post a question, but I would ask, what would you do to make the Tau fit into the world of 40k
I would pick Aztec and Zulzu, Aztec being with chaos and Zulzu with the imperium

@@nathanx2000. yeah i wasnt trying to white knight for rage either which is why i edited my bit about them out addressing some points because like alot of mh community people we follow a ton of channels for dif things but arent realt into everything they do
rage is like that people will hit the build vids or update overview vids to get build ideas from their take as a particular weapon main then hit a dif channel for a build take w new gear etc
they did get a review copy of DG2 most mh guys did cuz capcom is on good terms w alot of them and it is alot more shallow then it got made out to be its honestly a side grade or only a .5 upgrade to base dragons dogma and the classes got simplified from the first game so build guides are alot easier
the content conveyor i see some mh channels do like arekkz does and a few others during content droughts for mh so it keeps the channel relevant w the algorithm i think i agree alot of their stuffs formulaic w the stuff being for certain still somewhat popular or new games their core mh fanbase has crossover w but again its competition too w those other channels like arekkz fighting cowboy rurikhan etc that all have a crossover following and cover alot of the same stuff
their worst offence is clickbait by far tho for what if chatty vids about lore speculation and i agree discord paywall is dumb but thats another yt trope of if u have a patreon or members usually theres a member only discord
so its id say less a dsp level narcissistic thing overall and more just trying to farm the yt algorithm and being formulaic when their core audience is tuned out cuz the content isnt the thing they get watched for primarily like new mh stuff
the samey thumbnails and stuff tho thats less lazy more branding
if its lazy
well alot of people are kinda lazy for just having their branding and using it constantly on everything
they absolutely arent the best mh content guys either but they have a gimmick their takes on builds and new updates for that game in particular are unique takes too so alot of the criticism is warranted but not to too harsh a degree
its schlock
but its also being made for people that like it sometimes and other times bounce between multiple channels
theyd do better cutting down on alot of the excess rewatch or click bait wut if vids honestly and just do streams discussing it w fans
would be less clutter vid wise and help their channel like twitch dying had opened the doors for yt streaming especially for established channels like theirs to actually breathe life into their content and channel on whole especially if they do it on days other crossover fanbase channels and similar sphere creators arent streaming day or time wise
u see that a good bit in some communities w channels and creators who collab a good bit
as to the mortefactors they are
not as overtly native as say the carcaradons are def space maori but theres def some inspiration there and gw if there werent a billion smurf successors could lean into it for them for sure
Btw christian metal is white metal :P
