Please do The Drug in me is Reimagined - You'll see a completely different side to Ronnie :) Fantastic content, by the way. You have one of the best reaction channels in my mind :D
I agree with @ovidiu. Found you through a GatsB7 stream. Definitely my favorite reactor; I like to deep dive in lyrics and meaning and you give a good perspective to go along with. Would like to also see some Chris Webby, maybe Raw thoughts 4 or Triggered.
Actually, if there's any chance you'll see this comment, I'd like to change my recommendation (with a heavy heart, but it's worth a shot). I'd recommend "Starset - Ricochet." The storytelling in the music video is on par with Falling in Reverse, if not better :) And the band itself is fantastic.
His mother was a drug addict and left when he was young and his father raised him and his brother. Ronnie has several songs that mention his mother, some saying that he wishes he felt her love and some saying he hates her for leaving. His song I Don’t Mind talks specifically about how he’s afraid that he’s becoming like her because of addiction and that he doesn’t want to do the same thing to his daughter, that his mother did to him.
So the mum copies exactly what he says in the beginning to his past self. The "do I know you" thing. Kinda explaining how his past self was almost going down the same path as his mum. Or maybe he's scared that he will go down that path either way its really clever.
Im a recovered heroin addict that used for 6 years and on the day I found out I was going to be a father was the same day I got sober; 2 years next week dedicated to my saving angel Emma💞
Respect, it took my Uncles enslavement, I mean employment by his Grandmother (till she dies), for him to get sober and clean. He was on Crack, Meth, and a couple other things.
That's amazing. I just hope you actually want it and not just stopping for her. Trust me when I say this. If you don't truly want to stop for you, you wont.
🤔 both of these songs came out after prison. “The drug in me is you” was on his first album after prison and the reimagined version was written like 7 years later
AuriDen you still can’t draw it up as before and after prison when the second was written yearssss after he was out of prison. That’s my whole point. A lot more has happened in his life than just going to prison. It’s just Ronnie showing how much he’s matured as an artist, not how prison changed him
In the scene where Ronnie is talking to his mom, it's very similar the the start of losing my life. "Do I know you?" "Yes, you do" "This seems so familiar" "You're in a dream" "Who are you?" "I am your reflection" Also, don't apologise for pausing. You break down the lyrics so well, and most of the time find meanings I never thought of after listening to a song many times. Keep doing what you're doing
Please do the drug in me is you, from falling in reverse, THEN the drug in me is reimagined. The first is the original and then the second is his 'reimagined'version and there is like a, 10 year gap between? Be sure to do both so you get the full impact! Will do it much more justice ♡ and omg I was so excited to see your reaction and get your thoughts on this one and you never disappoint. Fantastic and I hope you do get to interview ronnie one day! That would be amazing to see!
Ronnie himself said in a stream that when he wrote that song all those years he couldn't forsee himself doing the 2nd piece in the way that he did. His growth is astounding.

hoooo boy, if ronnie reacts to this he's gonna love the analysis about the drugs of society. you hit the nail on the head! hope he sees it! great video like always!
Awesome reaction! Only thing, 2033 is from a dream he had while he was on drugs. He dreamed that he missed his little girl growing up. His prison sentence was 2 1/2 years which he served for probation violation. Ronnie is so versatile, you’ll truly see it if you react to “The drug in me is you” and “The drug in me is reimagined” same song same lyrics just redone in the most amazing way. ♥️
Knox you did so good! I loved it! So glad you knew who Corey was, a lot don’t. Ronnie’s mom was on drugs and left him and his brother with their dad when Ronnie was very little. His dad was on drugs but got clean and raised them. Love your interpretation of the whole trilogy!

Self destructive personality is another great falling in Reverse song. And give his solo work a listen it’s fantastic. Devil is my personal favorite from his solo work. Also “who can stop us” ronnie spits like crazy on it

I've seen tons of reactions to this song and no one else got the meaning of the different elements so fast, like "everybody's on drugs, not only meaning the heroin, etc kind but also addictions to caffeine, attention and the likes (I heard Ronnie himself explaining that, so you are definitely right). And yes: his mother was an addict, who left the family when Ronnie was 8 months old. His dad, his brother and himself were also addicted to drugs at some point in their lives. I've heard, that Ronnie is afraid, that his daughter inherited the genetic deposition for getting addicted (which would explain the ending of the triology). By the way: he was incarcerated for violating his probation terms. The sentence has always "only" been 2,5 years. That the year 2033 has something to do with his supposed release is only a false myth that won't die. He actually dreamed that he was to die in 2033 once. I would love to see you react to one of Ronnie's solo rap songs, like Devil, but you won't get that much views on it, so I understand if you won't do it. If you want an yo get an idea about Ronnie's development as an artist, you should check out Falling in Reverse "The Drug in me is you " (2011) and "The Drug in me is Reimagined" (2020). "Alone" was the first song in which they mixed many genres and they got a lot of hate for it. Ronnie thinks the lyrics are cringy, but which artist doesn't criticize his old work? And to suggest something different as well: please check out Faith No More. They were one of the first very versatile bands and didn't stick to one genre. They were a great influence for many other bands. Greetings from Germany!
I think a point to note as well. You see a quick series of events in the mom portion. You see their conversation, then he is crying, then it reveals that she was on drugs with the eyes going black, then instead of being low and quiet, we get a wall of force as it raises up very quickly. His outlet is music, and the combination of sadness, frustration, and anger from the situation can only really be expressed with a blast of loud music.
love the fact one of the major lines you picked up on was "the american dream is a killing machine". seen so many reactions and you're one of the only people to even really pick up on that. Your dissections on lyrics have become one of my favorites, if not the number one. You kill it dude.
You’re literally my favorite react channel because of how well you break down each song and how passionate you are with music. You just have this feel for music that I share and it’s really great watching someone else describe songs the same way I would. ✊🏻 Keep up the good work brother!
@@KnoxHill For sure brother. I’m going to keep watching and I’m definitely going to start suggesting songs that I want you to break down because of how well you dissect each and every line in the song. 💯
I watched so many reactions to this song and there were so few people who recognized Corey Taylor, also respect for the way you think about every verse or scene and give us you explanation! Keep up the good work
don’t apologize for stopping the video so often. That’s exactly why we’re here for. English is not my first language so when I listen to ronnie’s music for the first time, it is a little hard for me to find those meanings behind every line. I know those are just ur opinions but I think u really are good at what u do and that’s what I’m here for.
I really love what you said about children being your life saver! As a mother who has battled depression, anxiety, bipolar, and PTSD for over 10 years I can say that my son is the only reason I am alive today. My child is 100 percent the reason I have driven to be a better person and to never stop fighting my own demons. Kids really do save your life. If it weren’t for my son I would have killed myself years ago. Stay strong everyone
Amazing job breaking down songs bro. I don't care how many times you pause, because it's always enlightening to hear what you think. And I'm glad you did this trilogy because this is the best music I've heard in a really long time.
Awesome video! Love how in depth you go with these. I just noticed now after listening to these songs 100 times that in Drugs he says "Accept the pain just to feel again" and in Popular Monster he says "Crash my car just to feel again"
Dude, so much respect for the way you're able to accurately pick these things apart. I've sen a lot of reactions to these vids and so many people lose the plot so easily. Yes, his mother was an addict and wasn't in his life. Props for seeing that. For real.
I actually cried while listening to "Drug in me is you Reimagined ". The meaning of the song, and his vocal sends real shivers down to my spine❤️. Love Ronnie
This is the best reaction I’ve seen to any reaction video of FIR, Ronnie Radke is so under appreciated from his days with Escape the Fate to going down for his own band mates, getting kicked out of his own band he started, and coming back ready to drop album after album and getting over his past. You earned a subscriber and hope to follow your content closely! His artwork is hard to understand but you picked it apart so simply, only a true artist could pick up on the small details like you did! Also kudos for knowing who Corey Taylor was!
I love the fact that you always ALWAYS are able to correctly interpret other people's lyrics, no matter how cryptic they are. Ronnie about this song said DRUGS are everything. From fame, alcohol, followers, caffeine, love everything can become an addiction. And the American dream? Nothing more than a lying and insane machine that failed. Love from Italy
i love these songs by Ronnie so much that iv watched literally hundreds of reaction videos just to see people feel these songs the way i do.. and tbh.. i havent found one.. but you.. man you do feel these songs the way i do.. loved your reactions.. amazing ! love how u notice the smallest things !
This the song that got me into them. Not too many people can blend the genres like Ronnie. I've said before, but I really think you'd enjoy Fever 333. Another rap rock group. Little more abrasive and punk sounding, but worth a listen. Made in America is probably the best starting place. Anyways great stuff as always!
I know this is an older video, but please never stop pausing and appreciating the artists work. Your reactions are what I look for. To see someone else appreciate all the work and effort and talks about all the symbolism and just everything.
I always love when i see rappers or other kind of musicien taking a look to metal music and enjoying it! We're all in the same team! Music is an exit, it's a way to express what we feel! Keep doing this as long as you need! Cause youtube need some people like you in term of music reaction! Peace man
Man, you get the point of every line right away. So fast. That's sick. Very impressive. Please pause every second and share your thoughts with us. We want see what you got. You are one of the most essential person on youtube all kinds musician must watch and listen to. And to me, you don't have to say sorry for pausing. Much love, brother.
I really enjoyed your journey through the Trilogy. Your breakdowns are so great, about the music, video and the lyrics As I am sure many more have commented the next step would be The Drug in me, followed by The Drug in me Reimagined. The "Duology" so to speak :) And at some point "Alone" is a must as well.
Hi, so pleased to see you react to this one. I'm glad that you recognised Corey, such a cool surprise. I get the impression that the blonde Ronnie represented the way drugs took over his life and kept him from really 'living' during that addiction - not feeling the pain of things is what is so often mentioned but drugs also don't allow you to feel a lot of other emotions fully. You were fucking onto it about his mother, great insight there. Unfortunately that tendency toward addiction does seem to have a genetic connection so I'm guessing he is concerned to protect his daughter from it in the future. Is that the "here we go again" idea at the end? I don't know, his songs go deep. Thanks for a great reaction video :)
Hell yeah!! Been waiting for this one dude. I just found "champion" by Falling in reverse, its epic and your break down of it would be amazing. You are slowly winning me over to the rap scene man, keep up the great work.
Oh, man! You must continue the breakdown comparing the first and the last version of "The Drug in me is You"; and "alone". All of us, the fans, are loving your reactions!
Love your interest in FIR! Found you doing your reaction to Popular Monster...you definitely didn't know what you were in for! Lol. Your breakdowns are pretty great! Well done, sir. 💜
I want you so badly to react to The drug in me is you and then the drug in me reimagined. It's insane the level of growth and difference in the 2 versions and his voice is so beautiful!!!! Please do it!!!!!
YESSIR I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS REACTION THIS MORNING. Been following you since the first FIR reaction. Would love to see more breakdowns of ronnie's music
Since I was watching you watch "losing my life " I was super stoked for you to see "drugs" I love how deep you get into your bar digging, the music, and you explain the visuals as well and it made me so happy you knew who Corey Taylor was. I'm not sure if Ronnie's mom had addiction issues but I know they didnt have a relationship. Thanks for the dope reaction :)
Mr. Hill, Mr. Knox Hill, my dude your ability to understand, disect, and explain are on a level that I can't comprehend or grasp. I have seen this trilogy numerous times and failed to piece it together in the fashion you have. I stumbled into Ronnie's world all by accident, and haven't looked back on purpose. Falling in reserve already blows me away into pieces, just by relating. Your reaction, putting it all into perspective like you do, showing me what I missed that was right infront of me the whole time, that shit, your shit, blew me away back together.
Hello Knox Hill, I’ve watched this purely cause this is my favorite band of all time, but now that I’ve watched your video you’ve opened my eye to so much even though it’s what Ronnie is trying to show, you showed me and opened my eye musically & lyrically and I just wanna personally thank you
Knox ! Brother ! It’s hard to find a channel that actually listens to what is being said ! Ronnie is super talented ! This dude can do any style ! You do t have to take my word for it ! I’m sure your flooded with comments and mail ! And as an artist myself I find him fascinating ! And I don’t use that term lightly ! This man has real talent just like you ! It would be amazing to see you collide on a track ! With tech 9 and em ! But with some heavy guitars in the back
Answering your questions about his mother, yes she had a history of drug abuse and ultimately let Ronnie and his family when he was very young. If you're looking to dig more into FIR, you should check out "The Drug in Me is You" followed by "The Drug in Me is Reimagined". The former is the song that put him on the map big time, and the latter is a reimagined version that he released ten years after for his fans.
I love just how you pause the video, say something really smart and extend your thoughts and the press play.... And then happens what you where talking about (thinking of the accepting its past passage)
Dude, awesome reaction, thank you. Keep up the great work! I'm sure there'll be a lot of "please fo The Drug in Me is You and The Drug in Me is Reimagined and Alone...etc" But I'd love for you to check out some of Ronnie's rap music from his Mixtape "Watch Me". He is unbelievably good - please check out (whether for a reaction or your own interest) - Ronnie Radke: Devil, Who Can Stop Us Now, Never The Same, Asshole, Destiny, Fair Weather Fans, Blacklist, I Wash Cars. Back to Falling in Reverse, some of Ronnie's best raps/bars are in some of his heavier songs like Champion and Self Destruct Personality. Alone is fun. Also worth checking out some of Falling in Reverse's other stuff - an eclectic mix of heavy metalcore (Die For You, The Guillotine IV, Self Destruct Personality, Born to Lead, Rolling Stone...) and more pop/punk fun stuff with great videos (Fuck You and All Your Friends, Raised by Wolves, I'm Not a Vampire, Good Girls Bad Guys, Bad Girls Club, Just Like You). And heaps of other cool stuff.
Bro, came for Eminem, stayed for falling in reverse and you got my sub. Love your breakdowns and your extremely intelligent process of working this shit out. And honestly, what I've heard of your music on here so far has me extremely intrigued. Keep up the good work man.
So, I see that you mostly do rap reactions and similar stuff, but I would love to see you break down some Citizen Soldier songs. They have pretty versatile music collection, with powerful lyrics. And the could possibly announce and launch a new song in the following week or so, if they keep up their release pattern. I would highly suggest you checkimg out: "Let it burn" - their first released song afaik; "I'm not ok" - softer song, one of the newest; And whatever catches your eye if you actually do check them out. Peace!
Knox Please...please...If you like FIR for real you HAVE to see them live in concert. You will NOT REGRET!! I saw them on the last tour before COVID and They were freaking amazing. Seen them so many times and Ronnie never disappoints. FIR forever
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent (one for each FIR video) job on the song/video trilogy breakdown. I can't tell you how many times I have watched these video reactions and NO ONE has broken them down in such detail and has introspection like you do. Outstanding job 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You truly do understand the craft👍Thank you😁
Your insight is just unreal. Keep up the amazing work. You are inspiring us to listen closer to the lyrics and take in the visual keys. Absolutely love your reactions
Man every time I watch ur videos I find out more to the songs than I already knew love that, also u don't gotta say sorry for pausing the video when u break down the bars more bro that's just amazing
Just subbed dude. Gunna be straight with ya.. Im hardcore metalhead and rarely listen to rap/hip hop. However your style and flow is purty dang good my man. And i absolutely am in love with your breakdowns of the reactions. It is by far the best of all the reactors i watch. Keep it up!

My child is 100 percent the reason I have driven to be a better person and to never stop fighting my own demons. Kids really do save your life. If it weren’t for my son I would have killed myself years ago. Stay strong everyone
I've low key been checking your account every day for this 😅😅 IT'S FINALLY HERE!
Knox you nailed it again....Ronnie said Drugs is EVERYTHING and Anything that people are addicted to .... perfection.
I love the fact that, even though you're a rapper, you know and appreciate who Corey Taylor is
Amazing job breaking down songs bro.
Finally ! I've been waiting for this reaction. Was worth the wait, nice job dude. Do "carry on"
Your reactions and breakdowns are fire as always but you also open my eyes to other artists! Falling in reverse im a new fan 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Peace man
You nailed it on the head when you mentioned “that it’s like being in the matrix”- that’s at a fundamental level what this song is about
Hello! Long time viewer of your channel. Absolutely LOVE your in depth analysis
Your breakdowns are so great, about the music, video and the lyrics
As I am sure many more have commented the next step would be The Drug in me, followed by The Drug in me Reimagined. The "Duology" so to speak :)
And at some point "Alone" is a must as well.
Hollywood Undead is a band I would recommend checking out
I saw them live. They are great.
React to drug in me is you and reimagined
Do itttt
The Drug in me is you* is the first one
@@snip3zr667 was about to say that lol
@@snip3zr667 hes done popular monster, losing my life and drugs. Drug in me is you is old asf
@@blakechambers5079 It’s still good tho
I CAN'T STOP WATCHING I HOPE RONNIE REACTS TO EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR REACTIONS YOU DESERVE IT OMG
Love the cameo from Corey Taylor! Falling in Reverse is blowing my mind. So glad you did this! 💯❤
I love your breakdowns of falling in reverse thank you for this awesome reaction
Oh, man! You must continue the breakdown comparing the first and the last version of "The Drug in me is You"; and "alone".
All of us, the fans, are loving your reactions!
React to drug in me is you reimagined its a beautiful song that really shows ronnie's vocal range with a twist
Love your interest in FIR! Found you doing your reaction to Popular Monster...you definitely didn't know what you were in for! Lol. Your breakdowns are pretty great! Well done, sir. 💜
This is why you watch Knox's reviews, catching motifs before they are fully expressed. Excellent breakdown.
I want you so badly to react to The drug in me is you and then the drug in me reimagined. It's insane the level of growth and difference in the 2 versions and his voice is so beautiful!!!! Please do it!!!!!
You should react to some Hollywood undead. Some to start out with are undead, levitate, and black delilah
YESSIR I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS REACTION THIS MORNING. Been following you since the first FIR reaction. Would love to see more breakdowns of ronnie's music
You might wanna check out Hollywood Undead. I would especially recommend:
"Nightmare"
"Day of the Dead"
"We Are"
"Bullet"
Bullet is amazing with the contrast between the delivery and vibe and the message of the song
Hello Knox Hill, I’ve watched this purely cause this is my favorite band of all time, but now that I’ve watched your video you’ve opened my eye to so much even though it’s what Ronnie is trying to show, you showed me and opened my eye musically & lyrically and I just wanna personally thank you
I love watching your vids man. You go so much in depth with the video and lyrics
Knox ! But with some heavy guitars in the back
Carry on falling in reverse, that is a good new song
Do a double feature with " The drug in me is you" & then " The drug in me is reimagined" You will see a wide range in his vocal ability.
That's why I like you knox hill you break things down so much more than others seen this video numerous times and never looked at it in your thoughts
Along with I'm Not A Vampire.
I love just how you pause the video, say something really smart and extend your thoughts and the press play.... And then happens what you where talking about (thinking of the accepting its past passage)
Dude, awesome reaction, thank you. Keep up the great work!
I'm sure there'll be a lot of "please fo The Drug in Me is You and The Drug in Me is Reimagined and Alone...etc"
But I'd love for you to check out some of Ronnie's rap music from his Mixtape "Watch Me".
I would highly suggest you checkimg out:
"Let it burn" - their first released song afaik;
"I'm not ok" - softer song, one of the newest;
And whatever catches your eye if you actually do check them out.
Peace!
Also, Would Anyone Care and If These Scars Could Speak!
@@chikagesring3289 lol I knew it. They announced a new song less than a minute ago.
Damn.
You have opened my eyes to the deeper meanings of these songs! Love your react videos! Keep them coming!
FIR The Drug In Me is You and The drug in me is you Reimagined . The are both very good but the Reimagined version is AMAZING.
Knox
Please...please...If you like FIR for real you HAVE to see them live in concert.
Outstanding job 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You truly do understand the craft👍Thank you😁
The Drug In Me Is You/The Drug In Me Is Reimagined double feature!!
And Champion 🖤
Your insight is just unreal. Keep up the amazing work. You are inspiring us to listen closer to the lyrics and take in the visual keys. Absolutely love your reactions
I appreciate the genuine and intuitive reactions you do.
Man every time I watch ur videos I find out more to the songs than I already knew love that, also u don't gotta say sorry for pausing the video when u break down the bars more bro that's just amazing
I love the series on falling in reverse!! Pls do more of them :)
Great job as always!
You should do the contrast between the drug in me is you and the reimagined version, will be epic
Just subbed dude. Gunna be straight with ya.. Im hardcore metalhead and rarely listen to rap/hip hop. However your style and flow is purty dang good my man. And i absolutely am in love with your breakdowns of the reactions. It is by far the best of all the reactors i watch. Keep it up!
im not disappointed man.. you did great on this one.. i would like to reccomend drug in me is you and reimagined.. but champion is also good.. hope to see FiR again on the channel.. ❤️👍✌️🤘👌
They used that same technique in the shadow moses video for being me the horizon as well... Awesome effect
Much love for your breakdowns and enthusiasm! Definitely one of my favorite reactors!
Great job reaction Dude. I've seen all your falling in reverse reactions. Ronnie is one of my favorite artist very talented . even though I'm more of Metal Head i do respect good Rap music 🎶 💀🦂💀
Knox man I came across your reaction to Losing My Life, your ability to analyze Ronnie's lyrics is second to none. I love how you break it down and explain not only the lyrical ability but also the musicality of everything that is going on. If you get a chance check out Beartooth The In Between you won't be disappointed
Love the reaction as always bro! One song I think you should check out is from Ronnies Mixtape, it’s called Brother
La mejor reaccion y analisis que he mirado de esta canción! Felicidades por tu contenido, saludos desde México!
Saludos! Gracias por apoyar 🙏🙌
yess drugs from falling in reverse. Especially coming from intro 2. Knox is hitting my heart strings right now.
Great job, Knox!!! I love watching your videos! You should react to The Drug in Me is You and then The Drug in Me is Reimagined.
AMAZING Reaction! Fair Weather Fans, Champion, Rolling Stone, Alone.... There's so many good ones 😜
Do the drug in me is you and the drug is reimagined it’s his gift to the fans for always being there so he redoes one of his first songs. You talked about his singing you have no idea unit you hear reimagined lol
You may also like their song Alone :D A great flow on it.
